"They called to confirm who I was and the person who called was extremely nice and helpful. The lens -- a Zeiss Milvus 25mm -- shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. To be honest it looked brand new and it arrived in the original box. I tested it and it's flawless. I was a bit worried because it was the lowest-priced used copy I could find but I would rate it as almost mint. The return policy is 3 days which is a bit tight but it was ample time to test it and, since the 3 days expired during a weekend, Len Authority said I could have until the following Monday. I bought a Zeiss 50mm classic from Lens Rental some time back (I believe they are connected) and had the same experience. Thanks!"

"It was Friday afternoon and I needed 2 big heavy rare cinema lenses with MFT mounts by Saturday (the next day). They had PL mount versions of the lenses, not MFT. The girl I spoke to was not only knowledgable but very calm. She cheerfully said without an ounce of stress in her voice that they can easily switch out the mounts on the lenses and have it shipped overnight before they closed in 45 minutes. I took it for granted that everything was in good working order however when I went to use the camera and later reviewed the images I began to notice dust spots on my photos. Under inspection of the lens element, there were some visible dust. Clearly "Glass: Exceptional" means not exceptional.

Moral of the story is to closely inspect item upon arrival within the 3 day window they allow returns. I partially blame myself in this regard but I do feel mislead which is why I'm posting.

Camera is sent in for repair at Fuji Film which will cost $663.50 where I paid $750 for the camera at LensAuthority."
