"So, a couple of weeks ago I made the mistake of leaving my computer for a few minutes without shutting the lid. One of our cats (Mama) decided that would be an opportune time to use my keyboard as a scratching post.
I needed to replace two keys, so initially I went to ebay and searched for anyone selling only keys, and could not find any listings that matched what I was looking for. I ended up buying an entire new keyboard to replace mine. When I received my new keyboard, I began the process of trying to remove the old one and install the new one. I thought this would be a simple process. Wow...was I wrong.
After finally locating the service manual online for my computer, I realized that I would need to remove literally every component of the computer to replace the keyboard. I received my new keys today, which were shipped promptly and received very quickly, and I installed them in literally seconds. It was so easy. I wish I had found them sooner.
