Rude customer service

"Worse customer service I have ever experienced. Called to find out why I was receiving updates on my package and the Man I spoke with was rude and very disrespectful to the point of hanging up in my face called back and asked to speak with another customer service rep which was a Lady and even though she was a little more helpful she had the same rudeness I have never experienced this type of behavior with any company I have done business with. I'm very disappointed with HOUSE OF BEAUTY in Pennsylvania they need to treat their customers a little better. It isn't a good look for there company. I would rather pay a little more at another company than to buy from them ever again. I do not recommend Housofbeauty to anyone looking to purchase from them. and I still have not received my order it has been 7 days since I placed the order."

Sent me faulty product

"Useless, unprofessional. They gave me faulty product. I called them many times they didn't reply then sent email few times they didn't reply. They are cheating with customer. Pls don't buy from this rubbish shop."

Do not use this company if you're in the UK!

"I live in the UK. I went to houseofbeautyworld.com because they sell a particular product that's hard to get in this country. The prices on their website were listed in GBP, including shipping (which was about £10).

After my order had been processed I discovered that I had been charged a totally different (higher) amount, because I had been charged in dollars, not pounds. This was not made clear from the website.

Worse, before I could get my hands on my package, I received a card from the Post Office telling me I had to pay a little under £20 for customs fees and administration charges. House of Beauty World clearly have no idea about how UK customs work. Sorting out the paperwork properly in advance would have prevented the admin fee, at least -- even if it would've meant higher shipping fees for me.

So my order ended up costing me some £25 MORE than I expected.

Finally, I made two attempts to contact customer services about this issue, and both were completely ignored. They obviously decided silence was the best response to an unhappy customer. I definitely will not be using House of Beauty World again.

Run Away

"Let's just say it was bad. They sent me a wig that was a large instead of an average, the net was off and it wasn't secured in the box as it should have been. Received it, tried it on with a wig cap - spun on my head, had to jump through hoops to get an RA only to be informed that I wouldn't get a refund - only a store credit. I was told I could return it - wasn't told I wouldn't get a refund. "

Skip House of Beauty World. Order elsewhere.

"I do not recommend this company. I ordered online directly from their company on May 31 or June 1, 2019. I also paid for express shipping at that time. Today is June 10, and my order still has not arrived. They never emailed me a tracking number, which is supposed to be standard protocol, so I can’t track the package. They never answer the phone or return messages, so that’s a loss, too. Spend your money elsewhere. Do not order from House of Beauty World. They do not need to be in business. If I could leave no stars, I would. "

Wasted $50 on a wig I never used

"I'm so disappointed with this company. I've ordered from them before and had no issues, but when it comes to doing returns and exchanges, this is where they have the worst service I've ever encountered. The way they handle returns is VERY extra - they had me email photos of a wig I no longer wanted and never wore and they had to send me a return authorization number, which had to be used within 10 days of receiving the number. With a busy lifestyle, this was just very impractical and inconsiderate, especially since they're taking their sweet time to get me my exchange. I've called 3 different numbers associated with the company, including the one they emailed me directly to do the exchange, and there is never anyone working! What kind of business is this?? I will never order from them again. "

UPS did not deliver my package and I was blamed!

"UPS did not deliver my package. After leaving a v/m with House of Beauty a week prior and sending an email that went unanswered I was finally able to get someone on the phone- The girl I spoke to was very rude and blamed me for it. She kept cutting me off when I was talking and she wouldn't let me explain. I even sent examples of what their "tracking system" showed- it confirmed I had no direction at all on where my package was or what to do, there wasn't a phone number or anything (I live in a very large city with multiple franchise UPS locations that do not communicate w/ each other- no one knew where my package was). House of Beauty refused to refund my purchase, so I had to file a dispute w/ my credit card. House of Beauty's solution was for me to repay for shipping, then they would send me the items again. I will never do any business w/ them again and I caution anyone that does... If your package isn't delivered it will cost you. and be weary, this same company operates several sites under different names! "

"I couldn't believe when I told her I was putting In a bad review she said it's ok we get those all the time another one won't hurt were still in business. Tried to exchange something for something else and it took them a whole month to send the exchanged item9"

Order did not arrive

"I placed an order on 23 February 2019 and my order has never arrived. I tracked the parcel online and has been shipped since 28 February. The last tracking details was 2 Mar 19. I have contacted House of beauty and has been referred to my tracking details. have recently called and sent email requesting for a refund and there has been no response. I will be contacting my bank for full refund including shipping cost. I have never had this experience shopping with house of beauty but this is my first time paying shipping cost to be delivered in Australia."

No items delivered

"I ordered some items in March. Never received them when i saw it had delivered on my items, I emailed them via the contact us on THEIR website. I hadn't heard anything after a few days so i contacted them AGAIN through THEIR website, still no response. Call two weeks later someone answered finally and she refers me to the tracking number stating it was delivered. I told her it hadn't. She also stated it has been one month since the delivery date. I said I emailed twice. She said no you didn't and repeated my email address. I said I emailed via your website twice. So if you have a problem their website doesn't work and they'll say you never contacted them. I guess they use that as a buffer. You don't have proof you contacted them so use your personal email. I didn't know this was a shady company like that. I'll never buy from them again. "

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY GOODS, AUSTRALIA

" I ordered my goods on 20th February, it was cleared by Australian customs on 13th march but i haven't received my goods yet. They keep referring me to the tracking information, I have seen it. But what happens after 13th March, where are my good??! For the amount I paid for shipping, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND."

received wrong item Ignored by customer service

"After receiving the wrong item, I contacted there customer support. I was told to send a picture of the invoice and item I received. I was told by Anastasia I received the right item.after explaining it was the clippers and not the trimmers as well as providing serial numbers and the photos that obviously showed the difference in what the picture on the invoice provided by them and what I received I was ignored...the craziest thing is the item i received was $50 more then the item I was expecting but already own..this experience is what every online shopper fears...bad business they lost $50 of the product and countless customers including me that will be choosing to buy elsewhere just on this post alone.. and that makes me happy :-)"
