"I ordered a chest Oct. 10 and was satisfied with choices, prices, placing order. The problem is I still haven't gotten the furniture. I was emailed it was in stock. I was told Oct 23 "furniture orders typically take about 6-8 weeks." Dec. 12 I again contacted them they said manufacturer was shipping it that week. It's now late December, 11 weeks from time of my order, and still my status on their site is N/A. I am suspicious how this is being handled and if in fact they really sent this order in. I wanted a few other items and I'm really glad I never did order them.

"Thought that I purchased a dining room set at a great price only to receive an e-mail that the order had been cancelled. Called the customer rep to inquire as to nature of the cancellation and told that they could no longer get them from the manufacturer. Rep said he would notify to have set removed from web-site. Two days later I am on the Hometime site, the dining room set is still listed but at a much higher price. Come on fellas, have you no honor?"
"Horrible experience! I found their website by mistake last night and immediately ordered a computer desk from them because their price was the best I found. One day later I receive an e-mail from them informing me my order was canceled. There was no explanation at all. I call their toll free number to get an explanation and I'm put on hold for close to 15 minutes! While I'm waiting, I look up the same desk on their website and notice the price has been raised almost $100 from the night before. The customer service rep looks up my order and tells me it was canceled because they can't get it from the manufacturer, which I don't believe. I told the customer service rep if the product is no longer available then why was it still on their website at a higher price from when I ordered it. He couldn't provide an answer so you can draw your own conclusion and then decide whether to shop with this company or look elsewhere. "
"Oh my gosh! Our encounter with HomeTime Furniture was a complete nightmare!!! We ordered and paid for a dining table and six chairs. We received a table an 4 chairs. After months of calls and emails to get the 2 missing chairs or our money back for the 2 chairs we finally had to file a dispute with our credit card company against HomeTown Furniture. They only called us back twice and never had any answers for us but did admit that the problem was their fault.....Promises of resolution but never happened. I hope this really gets posted. The public needs to know about this kind of so called company. Its a joke. Don't let the joke be on you. "
"I searched local retail, then the internet for the particular furniture I wanted. It was going to be a large purchase. I wanted to get the very best deal available, in these times. I was shy about purchasing on the internet. I read the reviews when available on each company. I ended up calling "Hometime Furniture.Com." I spoke with "Jack" he was very experienced, he honestly gives his opinion which is extremely valuable. I was able to get my furniture at the best possible price, compared to everywhere else. He instructed me on the precise process and time frames. The furniture arrived beautiful and as promised, with White Glove Delivery. Afterwards, I did notice one of the doors was stuck. I called "Jack" and he said someone would get back with me. Ten minutes later "Jonathan" Customer Service Mgr. called me to see what I wanted to do and get details. He immediately set up appointment with Furniture Delivery Company's repairman to come out to fix it. He came and made the necessary adjustments and that was it. I wanted to share that at first I had read one negative review, so the entire time I waited for the BIG SHOE TO DROP. I would like to say I feel like Cinderalla who got her glass slipper and lived happily ever after. Thank you "Jack" for making it happen and "Jonathan" for wrapping it up. "I could not be happier with HomeTime Furniture. I ordered a Powell console in August, which turned out to be on back order. HomeTime immediately informed me of this, telling me when the back order could be filled, but also giving me an option to reorder at a later time if I wished. This was great, as they did not leave me hanging wondering where my order was. They kept me informed about every step in the order process, so I knew when to expect my console.
When my order arrived a short time later, it was unfortunately damaged. They immediately sent me a claim form, with easy instructions on how to file it. They processed it very rapidly, and said they would send me a replacement. They shipped out a new console within a very short time, which arrived in perfect condition.
I was very impressed with the level of customer service I received from HomeTime, which seems so rare these days. "This furniture line is absolutely beautiful!! The lines are clean, the wood stain is a gorgeous brown stain and the hardware is a subtle or soft gold color, nicely accenting the table. The on-line photo faild, however, to show the soft yellow edging that goes around the top of the table. The yellow edging in no way though, takes away from its beauty. If you are looking for a piece to take your room to the next level then, the Lexington line is the way to go. I love it!!"
