"I had been shopping for a Herman Miller Sayl chair for a long time. There are many resellers online, including Herman Miller themselves, but Hive was the only one I found that gave me the fully-combinable range of colors and adjustment options (arm rests, seat depth / tilt, lumbar, etc.). When configuring my chair, I emailed a question about the chair’s options and promptly received a response.
Their base pricing was consistent with other resellers, and they offered 10% off my first order — a substantial savings for a $1,000 chair! Other retailers online offer discounts for first orders or newsletter sign ups, but they usually come with dozens of exclusions… and Herman Miller products often did not apply. But with Hive, their 10% off applied to anything.
Additionally, two days after I purchased my chair Herman Miller had a 15% off sale of their own. I contacted Hive and asked if they would give me a price adjustment and they took care of it immediately.
