"I just purchased "Shadowrun" for PC that was listed as New on their website. I chose to do so because it was the cheapest I could find. Sure enough I got sent Shadowrun for PC still in the plastic and brand new. I read the reviews below and had to debate whether or not to purchase but it seems that some people get it and some don't. I ordered mine on 02/12/2008 and I got it today 02/16/2008 using their "Dirt Cheap" shipping option. All in all...I'll definitly do business with them again."

"I ordered Halo (1) for PC. They had it at a low price, so I figured why not? It took about a week and a half for it to arrive which wasn't so bad as I didn't need it in a rush. My only real problem with the order was that the game was clearly opened already -- they box was a little beat-up and the CD wasn't in perfect condition either. But it plays fine and the price was so low that I wouldn't send it back.

But since the game was listed as "new" and not "used", I don't feel comfortable shopping with them again.

"I purchased a DVD of Auntie Mame from GoGamer for a family get-together. My Visa was charged for $16.07. I did not receive the merchandise. I wrote & received two auto-acknowledge statements 12/28 & 1/02, indicating I would hear from them in 24-48 hours. There was never a follow-up. When I checked my account number, there was a tracking number and the account status was CLOSED. We did not have the movie for the theme party. I will not use GoGamer again.

"So-so experience.

Pros:
Good prices sometimes
Always received what I ordered

Cons:
Poor shipping. Packaging was non-existent, the games were just loose in a box 4 times too big for them, had clearly sustained some damage in shipping due to bouncing around in their box.
Poor shipping. Loong processing times, sometimes up to a week.
About 15% of the games I've ordered from them have clearly been opened. When I'm lucky, the sealing stickers have just been cut open with a knife, when I'm unlucky, the ends of the game box are torn clean off.
About half of the games I've ordered that use the old style jewel cases have had cracked cases

Other:
So far all the open games they've sent me have been for offline games. If I ever received an open box for an online/multiplayer game, I expect that the CD Key would already be in use.

"Ordered Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance at after 1 AM Central time on 1/2/08 and received it today (1/5/08) using Dirt Cheap shipping. You can't beat that shipping time for the price ($2.59).

The box was in perfect conditions with no issues. Exactly what you would ask for.

I have ordered from them before and will continue to do so.

"Up until now, Gogamer.com was doing a fantastic job. All of that changed when I placed an order for two copies of World in Conflict during one of their 48 hour madness promotions.

I ordered on December 26th, well before a few of my friends who I notified of the deal. They ordered it too, but they only ordered one copy each.

Fast forward to yesterday, Jan 3rd - my order has still not proceeded past the processing stage. One of my friends received his game three days ago. Same city, same game, except he ordered AFTER I did, and only one copy. Another friend, who was on BACKORDER status, received his shipping notification over a week ago. He's been out of town, but I can only assume he has his game already. Of course, we all chose the same shipping option.

To say I've been penalized for ordering two copies would be ridiculous. Yet I can't see any reasonable reason as to why my order sat in processing for over a week. I even asked GoGamer why, and their response was "Hey, we shipped it! What are you talking about?"

Well, actually..no...you didn't. I checked the tracking number with USPS and this is what it says:

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on January 3, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date.

This happens, of course, conveniently after I've lodged my question/complaint. What was it doing in processing hell for over a week? Your guess is as good as mine. According to GoGamer, there obviously isn't a problem here.

They had one chance to save face in my eyes: ship my item TODAY Jan 4th with an expedited shipping option. Instead, it still sits in limbo. I'm on the verge of just canceling the whole order, but I've been looking forward to playing this game for a while.

Needless to say, I am very disappointed because GoGamer previously provided great service with very competitive pricing. What a shame, as this will most likely be my last purchase there.

"I pre ordered Rockband Special Edition for ps2 they sent me an email confirming my purchase etc... Then on 12/29/07 at 2:40am they issue a charge to my credit card then at 2:42am still on 12/29/07 they send me an email telling me that they have cancelled my order because they were unable to veryify any information on my order (ph #, address, etc) how can they charge my card then turn around and cancel the order saying that they couldn't verify anything??? I have tried a phone number that I found in google search and all I get is no one is available to take your call right now... No response to my email. Will wait and see what happens but have notified my bank of this so they are aware and willing to help me."

"GoGamer.com has to be the best game store on the web, especially for PC games. Insane prices during weekly "48 Hour Madness" sales, and always excellent shipping prices as well. ($5 for 2-3 day USPS Priority.) Never had a problem with any of my dozen orders. Highly recommended!"

"I bought the game Crysis from Gogamer.com for $39.99 in late June 2007. I had to wait about 5 months for it to ship (which was expected). On the day it was released, Gogamer.com sent me an email telling me my order was canceled. I couldn't call them (no phone number is listed on their website). Over several days I finally discovered that they canceled my order because the end date of my credit card had changed (I got new a new card since the old one was 3 years old). I had updated my account with Gogamer.com but they DIDN'T use my new information. They insisted on using my old info and canceling my order. I asked them to please use my new info. They said I hadn't updated it on their site (not true). I pointed out that I had. Then they said it was too late but I could reorder it for $10 more.

I will NEVER do business with them again. This is a terrible way to treat consumers. They deserve to go out of business.

"I've ordered from them lots of times and been satisfied every time. they have cheap prices and cheap shipping (dirt cheap actually comes pretty fast and is packed well) and the games come undamaged unlike some other e-tailers.

I always check with gogamer first when I am buying games especially when I am looking for old games.

"Dirt Fast shipping option is economical, I had bought from them 4 times and used it everytime. Two were shipped after 6 days and two were shipped after only 1 day.
Questions you ask about products will get a response quickly as well.
Good packaging and product condition. Most 48 hour madness items are extremely good deals.

"Ordered the Fear expansion during one of the 48 hour madness sales. After 2 weeks of not receiving the item, I contact Gogamer via email. They responded 2 days later and told me that there was an issue with their system. They said that was why my order had not shipped. They said to email back in 24 hours to see if it had been fixed. Well, I emailed them 24 hours later as they said and 5 days later they hadn't responded. I emailed them again and 5 days later they never responded. I called their 800# but they were closed. I left a message but no one ever called back. Called and left a 2nd message a few days later. Again, they never called Sent yet another email which to this day has not answered. I have ordered from them before without issues. However, it appears that if you do have issues, you get no help whatsoever. To me, it's not worth it. There are other alternatives who actually have a customer service department that actually provides customer service."
