Deceptive business practices. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

"I was urged to preorder from sales rep Paul Brushey in my "Orientation," but I pre-ordered items for August, and it got pushed back every month, and now it is expected to come in February. I asked to cancel and now they want to charge me 15 percent "restock" fee that is just a blatant lie they never even placed my order to the manufacturer. DO NOT BUY THEY WILL DO THE SAME TO YOU. I have been fighting with the company for weeks to not pay this charge and will update once I know more. They claim that if they never ship your item I still have to pay. I will not accept this! Do not give them your business "

I had a great first two times experience with booth staff at NYCC and SDCC

"The always enthusiastic Donald Tapia ended up helping us checkout at both NYCC and SDCC 2019. Both times he was patient and inviting with us given the long wait times in line we had it was a breath of fresh air to see Donalds smile and energy. He was very knowledgeable of the company and suggested we check out the online store to order more products in the same geeky fandom we seemed to like. The entire staff at the cons Rock and work really hard to keep the crowds well. Thank you Entertainment Earth."

EE Distribution is terrible

"EE Distribution (their wholesale branch) is really difficult to work with. Their reps simply don't care, their website is ancient and inefficient, and their internal processes are very manual. Terrible value as well. They charge almost retail price."

forced to pay double for shipping with no chance for refund

"After purchasing a item from entertainment earth the item was sent to the wrong address then returned to sender, after 10+ calls to USPS and Entertainment Earth I was informed that the package was sent to an old address and I would have to pay to have it shipped again and if i decide I want a refund it would not include the shipping I had already paid. This is exactly why large corporations are destroying small internet business.

Highly Deceptive Practices, Poor Customer Service

"Entertainment Earth lacks transparency, nickels-and-dimes its wholesale customers for everything, ESPECIALLY with shipping costs, has extremely poor customer service, and does not represent companies (like Hasbro, Funko, etc.), well. They will not honor refunds or exchanges for defective or damaged products (they blame both issues on USPS services (USPS is not responsible for nor the cause of manufacturer defects. Entertainment Earth Account Rep’s (Gilad E.) Response: “I tried to explain that the claims you are filing are for product issues, not shipping issues. However, management explained that we do not ship direct with USPS, so claims are never available for products shipped using this method.”), unless you upgrade to FedEx/UPS, then, I was advised, they MIGHT honor refunds or exchanges). Very deceptive practices. I highly do NOT recommend Entertainment Earth to anyone."

EEDistribution is a horrible company to deal with

"This review is for the "wholesale" part of the company. EEDistribution is not really a wholesale company, their "wholesale" prices are high and not really wholesale prices and their shipping (especially international) is ridiculously expensive. Their account reps are quick to respond to emails when you place an order but once the items turn up damaged and you try to make a claim they are slow to respond and obtuse, a 5% refund for unsellable items, what a joke. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs. If I could give a negative score I would."

Love entertainment earth

"Every time I deal with them on the phone I get excellent service,dealt with Eddie today and he went above and beyond in placing the order for me. They also do free shipping which a lot of places do not. It also makes me happy to know that the people there are actual collectors themselves to.All in all entertainment earth has always done good by me and I will always continue to get from them in the future. Thank you EE."

Horrible Customer Service!

"I have been doing business with those company on the wholesale side for about two years. The other day, the company shipped 10 small cases of figures INDIVIDUALLY instead of consolidating the shipment into one or two boxes. As a result, not only did I overpay significantly on shipping charges, but one case arrived damaged with a hole in the case and damage to its contents. After filing a claim, I got the big run around from both my "representative" and the entire company. Shipping had the nerve to repeatedly lie and claim that they did not consolidate on cases, which were only about 12 x 12 x 12 in size. I know this to be a bunch of BS because I had already received numerous cases that were consolidated/shipped in a single larger box. Not only would this have been much less expensive for me, but the double boxing would likely have prevented all damage. EE refused to admit their mistakes and take responsibility for their actions. They just gave me the same old "song and dance", which was simply a smoke screen. Customer service? Forget about it! It's all about keeping them happy and screw their customers!"

Phenomenal Customer Service

"I am always amazed with EE's phenomenal customer service. Any time I have had questions or needed an order modified, they have always answered promptly and accurately. Their Online Chat is easy to use and they always respond immediately. They have never failed to deliver on pre-order, and they put items up for pre-order MONTHS before anyone else has them. What an incredible company and what a great resource to have for any pop culture collector."

A real disappointment.

"My recent purchase is another disappointment.
I live in New Zealand, and had paid USD$130 on shipping alone just to get these shipped from Entertainment Earth . The shipped me the incorrect products and then advise me of a clause that "Products are subject to change without notice." That was the end of it, no effort to right the wrong. This leave a bad taste of dealing with this company.

A real disappointment. I watched the Anniversary You tube videos by the founders and was encouraged by their passion and philosophy. Experience of dealing with them has left a sour taste. 1st Order, place 3 items and received 3 separate boxes and was charge freight 3 times.
The freight was more that the cost of the items. I told them that this is not acceptable and conceded that I was not clear in my request to have this consolidated. 2nd Order, Placed 5 items, was very specific and asked for these to be "shipped together and I don't want to pay for multiple freight." Items arrived in 5 separate boxes, I had to pay multiple freight charges. USD$46.80 to ship across the state. I raised the issue but they they would not address this. I am told I did not request consolidation. The word's "Please shipped together I do not want to pay multiple freight" does not have the same meaning as "Please consolidate my shipment". Further more, items arrived damaged, several of the bubble on the hot Wheels vehicles was cracked.

I thought you were collectors and enthusiasts and understood our passion.
I am not angry , just disappointed.

DONALD TAPIA BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

"I love entertainment earth and recently had a problem with an order and a man Named Donald Tapia I think I'm spelling his name wrong so I'm sorry, but back to the story he was kind and understanding and listened to my issue and went far beyond his job duty to make it right, spent almost an hour on the phone with me so we could get it all straight, then found the sold out item I was missing and had it shipped to me free of charge. I was floored at what he did and how much time he spent trying to make it write. YOU HAVE EARNED A LIFELING CUSTOMER. THANKYOU.
