"They don’t even deserve one star, that’s being generous.

In 2022, we had our account restricted by their account receivable team member Dawn as they took too long to allocate our wire transfer to held orders within 7 days. She cancelled our order after the payment had cleared and restricted our account. The frustration, I have is they continuously delay pre-orders, which impacts our customers. EE also sell the same products themselves and I’m beginning to wonder whether the reason pre-orders are delayed is because they keep the hot selling products to sell to their own customers, leaving us with stock that’s no longer trending.
I’ll be looking for an alternative supplier as they have lost my faith in the business ethics and had rude they can be to the resellers.

I won’t be paying any cancellation fees.

Horrible Business Tactics

" We ordered over $1500 in products with an anticipated product release date given by EED 2 years ago. They consistently pushed the dates back, after 15 months we decided to cancel the order. We sent 4 emails to cancel, we were on our 3rd account rep but no one listened or followed through with the cancellation on their end. Finally the new rep Ashlyn returned my call and she said I would have to pay a restocking fee, penalty for cancellation and any shipping fees.!? What ?? This is your fault, she said she’ll talk to hey manager, I’m not buying a car I was looking to but newly released Star Wars figures two years ago that they cannot fulfill. Today those figures are not hot in the market. Anyway I will not pay for their mistakes trying to charge resellers for not handling there issues internally. Stand clear from this company, customer service is absent, prices are higher than others, especially the out of wack shipping fees ( marked up ). It does more bad than good to deal with them, look else where for the products. For the company response to this review I shouldn't have to reach out to you to hopefully resolve this, you should respond to the emails you already received that you did nothing with. "

Said they had in stock-bs

"I preordered 250 dollars worth of product that they said they would have and was “in stock”. One month later and 2 phone calls, it’s not coming ever. Meanwhile it sold out everywhere. Now I can’t buy the thing they said they had and were getting because it’s sold out. It’s a bs way to try to grab market share and it doesn’t make sense to sell something that they aren’t getting and take all kinds of orders for it. "

"We strongly do not recommend working with EE distributor in 2023. Customer service trapped us with the manager's knowledge and approval and didn't cancel our pre-order we placed 3 months ago and forced us to pay unfairly. In our last meeting with the manager on 27.01.2023; He said either pay the money or go.

They have the worst give employees policies to work for in America. they do not deliver the products on time and threaten you with their policy to pay a penalty.

Their fees are outrageous, their customer service is awful, the reps don't even know anything about selling on any platform

"I will never order from EE again. I used them a couple years ago and I used to have pretty good success selling with them but the last 8 months have just been awful. The icing on the cake? They increased their fees with no warning or prior notice. Absolutely shameful and their reps don't even understand basic selling. The fact that my rep didn't know Amazon takes fees whenever you sell something is a major red flag. Thank god I never contacted them for selling recommendations which they advertise as part of their services. He tried to tell me that something they sold for $6.60 (not including shipping) was good to sell on Amazon as it was selling for $12 BY AMAZON THEMSELVES. Not only do you lose money, good luck competing with an item Amazon is selling for so little. IDIOT. If you preorder something and you decide you don't want it anymore by the way, have fun paying 50% of it anyways in fees and BS"

Stay away from EED

"I recently placed an order using a promo code that they provided. The promo code didn't adjust anything on the price but shipping was free when I placed the order. Then they charged me $131 extra for shipping without my authorization. The box would normally ship for at most $15-20 within the US (even for the longest distance). When I contacted them, nothing got adjusted. That was clearly a ripoff. Today I checked my credit card statement. They keep charging me small amounts that you wouldn't notice ($5) for the same invoice for no reason. I'll keep opening disputes with my CC company. Stay away from them unless you want to experience similar fraudulent transactions. "

Lies about shipping dates in hopes you will cancel and charge you 15%

"This company is horrible..their wholesale side EE Distribution, takes a year or longer to ship. I'll order things a month or two before their estimated ship date, and won't hear anything for a year or longer..by then the product is useless to me and it is no longer worth what the original price was. Then they charge 15% to cancel, and sell it to their own customers on the entertainment earth site. It seems like their whole goal is to get you to cancel. On top of that, their prices will change AFTER you have placed the order, and if you don't see the email about the price increase and cancel in time, they will still charge you the fee to cancel. Dishonest predatory company. After reading other reviews on here, this company should have a class action lawsuit filed against it. "

Beware of B2B with EE, they’re competitors

"I’ve given EE 2 runs. A couple things that got me the first time was how they ship. There is a reason why most distributors have multiple locations throughout the USA, and that’s to get product out faster, and in good condition to alleviate returns/damages. At very least, they should be shipped to vendors in the same way they are shipped to customers. They have a “non mint” clause that I can understand if it comes from the manufacturer damaged, but stuff packed carelessly that arrives damaged… nope. They will say oh well and ignore the issue. You could have 30k in past sales and preorders in one year and they will straight up admit they could have shipped better and not comp you $500 in damaged worth to send the item back. EVEN IF IT’S THEIR FAULT. They will offer an added repack service to extra pack your orders, still be careless and not cover damage… then what are you paying for? Aside from that, most major toy manufacturers like Hasbro have a built in curve (discount) per item to cover damages. They order so much direct, I’m sure they already have it covered before they deny your issue. Not a B2B move, but more of a move to hold competition down. Your clients being the competition.

Second, canceled order 15% fee. If you order a product you think will sell amazing, and it just doesn’t. Let’s say you order 15 cases of pops and have to cancel 5, they will charge you a 15% fee, sell it themselves with no problem selling out at full price. And they get a much better rate on toys than you do. THEY MAKE A KILLING on canceled orders. I wouldn’t be surprised if their pricing structure is set up in hopes you cancel it. They will lie and say it’s because they almost went out of business due to canceled orders, but this is a B2B relationship. Don’t put your issues on the 2B because you don’t have a way out yourself. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are making 75% profit margins on your canceled order.

Third, the lack of commitment to their pre-orders with vendors is simply ridiculous. I know a manufacturer that knows exactly what is on what PO and what date things will arrive per PO. I have stuff on preorder with a June date I had to cancel because it didn’t arrive. I wasn’t on their “first PO”. And they won’t tell you what PO you’re on unless you order immediately when available. It’s annoying, and keep the 2B in B2B down while they sell out and uphold their customer orders. Again, that’s a competitor move, not B2B.

Lastly, communication. I was a new business trying to get my foot in as a first to market vendor to customers. I was told about an “embargo” list where you can have access to product before there are description or pics from Hasbro, Mattel and Funko. Funko get’s announced in an email. Hasbro and Mattel I was told to put a list together of licenses and I’ll get a phone call to order. WWE, Marvel, stuff like that was on my list. The inconsistancy in communication on this list completely foiled my business plan to get to a good start. In fact, I’m waiting for phone calls on Mattel and was told it is apparently email now? No idea where that stands. All I know is it was offered once.

They will sell you stagnant garbage at full wholesale price that you will loose money on. They will say to sit on it for a year and you’ll get your money back…. If you’re lucky.

They will frown upon you pre-ordering and try to scare you saying it’s risky. It is, but if you’re customer service is great with constant communication with your clients and rock star problem solving, there are no issues. It’s something I would suggest EE takes into consideration if they plan on continuing B2B in the future. The competition for distribution is heating up with Alliance. Lower prices, B2B friendly policies on cancellations and a few cents cheaper than EE’s lowest tier pricing (even if you just order 1 box. EE you’d have to order a 1/2 pallet to get these prices lol.)

I have chosen to honor some of my pre-orders in the future with EE, and will continue to get a select limited supply of their exclusives (I find they are mostly stale aside from a small window when they sell out before restock), but I’m positioning myself for a relaunch on the right foot with Alliance in 2023 and so far, I would suggest the same as other former EE vendors have suggested to me.

Ripped OFF

"Been doing business with EE for a while and to be treated like this for a couple of 14 inch Mego Dracula is unforgivable. The items came damaged, not from bad packaging, not from damage from shipping, but shipping to me already damaged. They were damaged for shipping and EE just doesn't care. You can tell that the plastic was crushed by the packers fingers both damaged in the same area. Now, I wont purchase any more Mego items. I already deleted thousands of dollars in Mego products from my wish list. I hope they think it was worth it. Might be taking this to my credit card company and protest this."

"Doesn't Matter how much money spend, they won't take responsibility for damaged goods, Some Items are poorly packed and damaged in transit, and others are shipped to you damaged.

They reply to products that goods are sellable and EE Distribution does not guarantee the quality of item packaging. When are obviously not profitable.
