The following Tuesday I received my order. Not only did Capital Supply have the best price, I didn't have to pay sales tax or shipping (1300 miles). My order was received in perfect condition. My only comment would be as I checked on shipping my item, it never showed as shipped, then one night, to my surprise, it showed up at my door step, but then who would complain about that. I never needed to contact customer service--they do it right the first time."

"One of the worse experiences ever shopping online with. I placed an order on 8/21/11. The following day I received a message towards the very end of the business day to call her back. They for whatever reason needed to verify my ship to address as it was different from my bill to address [nothing was stated online about this holding up your order and there was nothing regarding it having to be the same].
I attempted to call back just a handful of minutes later but this person may have left for the day so I left a message of my own.
I attempted to call back today to straighten this out but waited on the line for over 20 minutes as the receptionist tried to get a hold of her. I even talked to a supervisor but apparently the person I needed to talk to was the only one capable of verifying whatever she needed to verify. She could not get a hold of her so said she would walk to her desk and hand her the message. Ordering online shouldn't be so hard.
The price here for the item was the lowest online but is the tradeoff for bad service worth it? I could have paid just $15.00 more at a competitor's and get it in 2 days. Shame on me for trying to order from a "reputable" site on a good deal.
The customer experience at Capitol Supply needs some serious work. The only person who was empathetic was the receptionist. If you don't take care of your customers, someone else will.
I just got a callback and verified why I needed the item to be shipped to a different address. More frustration as I also found out the item would not get here until next week which was contrary to the stock person I checked with yesterday.
I had to go with my principles though and did not wanted to be treated this way and cancelled the order and purchased from the other vendor for $15.00 more. Plus, I will receive it in 2 days.
