"I found buying from Capital Supply was a pleasant experience. I was buying a JVC DMV150B DVD/VCR recorder. When I placed my order, you were currently
out of stock of this product and you personally called
me to ask if I would like to cancel my order or wait
approximately 10 days for it. It was very nice to get
a personal call instead of an e-mail since my product
was not in stock. And also you gave me the option of
cancelling, which I did not do. I received my product
and it was in perfect condition and it works fine. Your not knowing if I needed it for a specific time
and giving me the option of cancelling was appreciated.

"This had to be the worst experience i have ever had with an internet company. I placed my order on or about 11/04/10 and have just recieved the last part of my order 03//11. It took four months to get my entire order. I ordered 1300 plastic ferrels. these are smaller then a dime each in size. Part of my order (500)was shipped 11/08/10, then i recieved an e-mail stating the rest of my order (800)was in stock and would ship 12/28/10 but i still only got part of the order again. I was still missing (300).I was assured that they would check into what happened and get them shipped 01/31/11. then i was told the rest were in stock and it would ship. As of 03/11/11 still no delivery, they said they did not have my address. I did finally get all of my orded. Glad i did not need it for a specific job. I can send you e-mails if you wish"

Also, although the product was nicely finished and fit in with our project, the cabinets arrived with damage to two of the 3 cabinets, and FedEx Ground had dropped them off on our front stoop without notification, so we were unable to note the damages with the carrier. I made repairs to 2 drawers and broken framing on two cabinets. I know it is not Capitol's fault that their shipper performed so badly, but I will not take the chance of ordering there again unless I have some assurance that they have addressed this. "I was pleased with some aspects of the ordering process, like ease of searching/ordering, the format of the order acknowledgement (complete with photos of the items), and the auto-e-mail communication regarding the progress of my order. However, out of my 3-item order, one item was misrepresented and another was not available. I would not have placed the order had I known up front about these issues. One item that I ordered (Baumgarten’s - 67130 - Baumgartens Letter Opener - Manual - MFG Part: 67130) was automatically substituted with a case of very similar Sparco brand product--with a blade of lesser quality. I can deal with an out of stock item, but vendor should not advertise one brand and provide another. This is an item used in a production setting, so durability/quality are important."

"I found Capitol Supply on the internet because I was looking for the best deal on kitchen cabinets and noticed that they advertised fast shipping. The did have the best deal around as to price. My order was placed on January 13 for these cabinets and as of yet I have not received them. I have called every week inquiring as to the status of the order. The customer service person was very kind and curtious but I was only told that they had been shipped but she could not provide me with the carriers name and number. I called again on Jan 30, 2011 and asked for a supervisior because I was getting upset as to why I had not yet received them. She made some phone calls and was able to provide me with the carrier and phone number. My order has sat in a warehouse for about two weeks and as of yet I still have not received my order. I am concerned about the shipping companies that you use for their service is (CRAP) and I think you need to do something about it. I would order again provided you use UPS or FEDX."
