"I ordered a Samsung refrigerator from Buyers Edge. I was a little skeptical that an appliance that large, shipped from the East Coast to the West Coast, could arrive intact, but it did. It was packaged incredibly well.
"Magic Man" Tommy, my rep, was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. His willingness to go above and beyond was evidenced as he lead me through the transaction, kept me posted on the shipping dates, and followed up on the delivery. He showed genuine concern for my happiness with the whole delivery process. I will recommend Buyer's Edge and Tommy to all my friends, so that they can have the same positive experience buying online that I have had.

"Ordered a $2,500 plasma TV from Buyers Edge. Immediately got an email that they'd be on vacation for a couple days but shipping would start when they returned. Nine days later I had not received the TV and had not received any kind of communication. I sent an email inquiry about the order from their website. No response. The following day I phoned and got a recorded message that they were *again* closed and would be back in five days. Canceled the order. This is an unprofessional endeavor well worth avoiding. Also check the web regarding erroneous credit card charges they seem to be known for."

"I ordered a TV on a Saturday for a LG LED TV that came with free shipping. Got a call on Monday that offered expedited shipping for an additional $25 which I accepted. They messed up my billing so I had 2 pending charges on my credit card.

I called every single day from Monday-Thurs to be told that it'd ship within the next 24 hours. Come Friday, the CSR tells me that the batch of TVs they had in the warehouse was broken and that they'd offer to do 2nd day shipping when the new batch came in. I canceled.

The CSR rep, Lauren, was very polite but what's the point when the business is being so unprofessional. Never again...

"It took about 3 days before the order was shipped.
After that the order was at my house 2 days later.
The delivering person was very courteous and efficient. The dishwasher works like charm and was very well packed. Would buy from this vendor again, great price, service and delivery.

"Shopping made easier??? Hardly. After calling first to make sure the item i ordered was in stock, over 1 week later I'm still waiting. I was assured it would ship last week (after my 3rd or 4th call) and when i asked for tracking was told it would be emailed. Here were are another 4 days later and NOTHING. No tracking, no response, and absolutely no concern for the customer. This is the worst company i've dealt with in a VERY long time. Maybe they'll wake up if i file a dispute on my credit card???"

"pros: the samsung tv did eventually come

cons: the entire ordering process!
Thur: I placed the order on a thursday and immediately got an email saying my order will be shipped in 2 days. This would be the only email notification I'd receive during this whole ordeal.
Fri: waited for shipping confirmation.

Sat: customer service closed. waited for shipping confirmation.

Sun: customer service supposedly open but no one answered the phone. waited for shipping confirmation

Mon: called in to check the status of order. Victor said that order was delayed because the shipping address didnt match the billing address. I told victor I had called the bank earlier that day and had already added an authorized shipping address. He replied that the order should be shipped the next day. He then sold me discounted expedited delivery which i accepted. I was getting impatient.

Tues: still no response so I called again only to be told that my card was denied for some reason. (No email about this was sent... God knows how long I would have waited to find out had i not called in!) confused, I told them to hold my order while I sorted out the mess with my card company.

Wed: called card company and made sure there were sufficient funds. called buyersedge and had them try the order again. they told me to expect shipping confirmation the next day.

Thur: still no shipping confirmation. I called and once more they told me the card was rejected, and that I should have received an email about this (i didnt). I told them there was more than enough money on the card. They put me on hold... and then tried to tell me that my card wasnt accepted because it was a Walmart Visa card! I insisted that I made online purchases with the card all the time, so they put me on hold once more.... and finally came back to tell me that the order had been pushed through.

Fri: The day before (thur) Buyersedge website had advertised that samsung tvs purchased on that day would come with a free wall mount and surge protector. I called and inquired to see if I qualified for the deal, since my order had technically gone through only the day before (even though i ordered it a week ago). Rep told me he had no idea what I was talking about. I swallowed my anger and resigned myself to the fact that the transaction had finally gone through....

6 days later the tv was finally delivered. end of story. If i had ordered from another vendor I would have received my order in half the time frame.

The moralof the story is buyersedge may have a lower price than other vendors, but you end up paying for it with sub-par customer service. I never had such a hard time getting a merchant to take my money! And no emails were sent out other than the initial one, so when something goes wrong in the transaction process there's no way for you to know. You really have to call and hound them every step of the way.

"I ordered a Samsung 58" TV and the website indicated the TV is in stock, I received a call and was asked why I didn't get a warranty and I ordered the warranty and was told the TC would ship right out, now it seems based on a call today that hoped to get it out today or tomorrow and today is basically over for shipping, I would not order any additional items or use this vendor again and I am thinking about canceling my order an will if it is not shipped today, I paid the manna expedite trucking and it is at most a 2 day ups ground delivery as I order from this region all the time and the delivery is 3-5 days at most, I will update if they actually ship the TV.

"Closely read the low ratings and you'll see the truth about this company, those that gave high ratings were just darn lucky. I ordered a TV because they had the best price out there, what a mistake, I should have gone with Amazon. They sold me a "double box" for $29.95 but never put the TV in a double box, instead charged it as shipment which was supposed to be free. When UPS showed up with the TV it fell out of the box and landed on the driveway. UPS didn't even deliver it, said he would send it back. Meanwhile they charged my credit card and won't give me credit, every time I call them they said it was credited yesterday, or end of last week, etc. etc. You're taking a big chance doing business with Buyer's Edge, once they have your money they can care less about you, no e-mails, no calls, no effort to solve your problem. Calling them is a waste of time, they'll just give you the runaround , remember, I never even received the product. A shady business to say the least.

"Ridiculous delivery service. I order an LG Dryer on 7/18 the dryer was finally delivered on 7/31. As of 8/10 the power cord has not arrived. It was shipped Fed Ex post service(?) on 8/5. Apparently this service uses Fed Ex to deliver to the post office to have USPS deliver the package. It is going to take over 6 days to deliver a 2 lb package less than 100 miles from NJ to PA. "

"I order everything off the Web. This was a terrible experience. Price was right...period.
It took a month to get the dishwasher, the shipper is sub-contracted from what I could tell. Everytime I called Buyers Edges CService I got, "oh, here's the mobile number of the shipper, you can all him directly". It was like calling into a deaf ear. I called about 10 times over 3 weeks to get no clear answers or care. My wife sat 3 separate days "waiting for the guy to show", but his word is crap. I called CService again and at that point i realized they are all just a bunch of fly-by-night crooks pushing products without any service or care for the sale after it's over. I think they are just order handlers, there is no real CS dept. Silly me for thinking otherwise. Had to threaten calling my CC company at week four of waiting. Good luck, best to pay a little more elsewhere.
