"I don’t write reviews but today I feel compelled to do so. I bought a television from Buyers Edge and it was a painless, even enjoyable, experience. I did my homework on both the TV and on Buyer's Edge. After reading all the favorable comments, I decided to give Buyers Edge my business and made the call to Tommy Stevens aka "The Magic Man." All I can say is GIVE THE MAN A RAISE! Tommy was an awesome representative of Buyers Edge and impressed me with his non-pushy attitude, his knowledge of the product, his willingness and patience to listen to my concerns and to answer all my questions, and his ability to deal. I appreciated being treated in a respectful manner and as a valued customer. Tommy gave me the "5 Star Treatment." I did find out that The Magic Man is a Pats fan. Being a magnanimous Steelers Fan, I didn't let that get in the way of the deal! You are A-ONE Tommy! Thanks for all your help. Atta Boy, Tommy!

"AFTER BUYING A DISHWASHER FROM BUYERS EDGE LAST WEEK i DECIDED IT WAS SUCH A GREAT DEAL THAT i WANTED TO GET A NEW rANGE FOR THE HOLIDAYS. tOMMY AT bUYERS EDGE WAS FABULUS AND GUIDED ME WITH MY PURCHASE. 12 DAYS LATER MY RANGE ARRIVES BY TWO OF THE MOST PLEASANT DELIVERY MEN i HAV EVER MET. "I purchased a beautifull new Frigidaire range and Microwave from this fine organization. Tommy Gunn is the SUPER HERO I dealt with.
My appliances arrived sooner than I had expected in perfect condition.
The fine young man, Tommy Gunn, even phoned me after the arrival and installation to see if I was satisfied... WOW! Now he gets all my business, my next purchase will be a washer & dryer.
I highly recommend Buyer's Edge and especially the Super Hero with the ruffling cape, Tommy Gunn.

We made the unfortunate mistake of ordering from this online retailer! Order placed 10/27/10 and we paid an extra $30 for overnight shipping: still waiting for delivery of product! We contacted Customer Service on Mon. 11/01/10 to inquire of status and Lauren promised it will arrive to us. After waiting a full week, we contacted Sales and spoke to Justin, who seemed like he would deliver -- oh, how we do tend to put our trust in men -- was all talk. Today (11/10/10), we contacted Lauren and she gave us the run-around: claiming that UPS does not update its system and it happens with California UPS deliveries. Then, she goes on to say: "you should get the package by today." Let's see if she is good on her word...yeah! Bottom line: I will tell all of my family and friends and associates not to buy from Buyer's Edge --> literally, they will drive you over the "Edge" with their lame excuses!!!!! Aaarrrggghhh!

"This company is HORRIBLE! Their customer service is a joke. One would think they were trying to turn me away.
They offer a price match guarantee. I found a lower price at a competitor; a $23 difference. I first sent them an e-mail. It was returned, with the notice; 'user is over quota'. I then tried sending them a note via there on-line (website) message form. It didn't work. My message was erased and never sent after 'submitting'. I tried calling several times, with no answer. I finally got an answer via their sales department. I spoke to 'Thomas'. This man is amongst the rudest, most arrogant, smug and belligerent individuals I have ever encountered! HOW COULD THIS COMPANY HIRE SUCH A PERSON?? He didn't want to hear anything about my complaint, although I was VERY calm and collected. He basically attacked me, trying to control our conversation. He didn't listen one bit! Goodness, I HATE to complain and rarely do. However, this was a $2,457 Samsung refrigerator purchase. I think I deserved more. Needless to say, they lost my sale. Worse yet for them, I also have to purchase a dish washer, T.V. and clothes washer and dryer! Don't be drawn in by their low prices. The adage; 'You get what you pay for!' applies. Virtually all other online competitors will match their best price. Go elsewhere!! Thank you.

"Here's my big complaint. One business day after placing my order (freestanding range), they called to try to get to pay for upgraded shipping and to sell me an extended warranty. They said the basic shipping which came free with my purchase was curb-side delivery, would take 2 weeks, and the delivery would happen in an 8-hour window. I declined the upgrade and extended warrenty. When the shipping company contacted me via email, I learned my item would be delivered only 1 week after ordering, the item would would be placed inside my door, and the delivery window is 4 hours. I don't appreciate being lied to to get me to pay more for upgraded shipping. "

"My experience with Buyer’s Edge was a disaster. After reading some reviews on line, I decided to order my washer from Buyer’s Edge. When I placed the ordered, I told the sale’s person my old washer broke, and I have a 7 month old baby, so I need to know how soon I would be able to receive my washer. I was told they had it in stock, so it would be shipped out right away. He told me they had a promotion going on, if I purchased 3 years extended service plan for $99, I would get the threshold hold delivery free, which means the washer would be delivered to my home in 3-5 days. I agreed to purchase the plan, and that was 9/29/10, in the morning. I was anxious waiting for my washer to arrive, but a week later, I still had not heard anything. I called and was told it would be another week before I got my washer because they were off a couple days due to Jewish holiday. I told the customer service person I would like to cancel my order because I could not wait another week. I was told I could not cancel my order because the washer just got picked up from the warehouse. I told her I would like to cancel the 3 year extended service plan, and she said the service plan was not refundable. When the shipping company finally called me, they told me my washer was scheduled to deliver 10/14, 12 business days after I ordered it!! My husband tried to call them back to cancel the order as well, and got the same answer, even though they advertise 30 days satisfaction guarantee and you can cancel any order by speaking with a customer service representative!! I ended up going to neighbors’ house to get some laundry done before we left to the beach. The washer finally arrived when we were at the beach. The washer was working fine so far, but the whole experience of getting it was not pleasant at all!!
To my surprise, I got a call from Buyers Edge Soon after I posted my review. Tommy called and apologized for what happened. He said their goal was to make their customer happy, and since nothing could be done to the past, he offered me extended product warranty to amend for my unpleasant experience with the company. He also said in the future if I need to order anything else from them, I could call him directly. I don’t know if I would order anything from the company in the future, but I do appreciate Tommy took the time to read my review and cared enough to call me back to amend for my experience. When I failed to obtain the correct invoice from Buyers Edge for my rebate, I contacted Tommy and he handled that for me as well. He has been great in working with me, I just wish my experience had started this way, and it would have make thing a lot easier. I might consider giving Buyers Edge another try in the future by contacting Tommy directly.

"Delivery was slow, and there were no shipping updates until the day before delivery. When the TV arrived, the screen was shattered. I do not blame Buyer's Edge for this; I imagine these things happen from time to time. This was on a Wednesday. I immediately called Buyer's Edge, and they kindly promised to send out a replacement the following day. On Thursday, they promised it would be shipped on Friday. On Friday, they promised it would be sent out expedited on Monday. At 5pm on Monday I called to cancel the order, as it had still not gone out. Buyer's Edge cannot be trusted. (BTW, these guys are also known as LCDTVs.com and ButterflyPhoto.com)

UPDATE: It's been 48 hours since I canceled my order and the company has still not issued me a refund.

"After placing my order online, Tommy Stephens called me and followed the order all the way through to delivery today.He was extremely pleasent and always ready to answer any of my concerns.
Based on my experience I can recommend Buyer's Edge to anybody. In fact, I just placed an additional order today and am planning a third in a week or so.
