"I placed an order for brake pads for my Mini Cooper S and they were not the correct pads. I called in and was placed on hold for one and a half hours and finally tried to leave a voice message and the message box was full and I was subsequently cut off. Calling the next day I was told that their computer says I have the correct part and I must have given them the wrong info. I checked the manufacturer's web site and found that they make two different pads for the year of mini, one for the convertible and one for the coup. Calling them back they insisted i was wrong again and that their computer only gave one part for that year mini regardless of body style.


Call someone else for parts these people are useless!!!!

"PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM AND SPEND FEW MINUTES ON GOOGLE SEARCH (VERY GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL FIND MUCH LOWER PRICE ELSEWHERE). THE PRICE IS MUCH HIGHER THAN MOST RESELLERS. I PAID $40 MORE--STUPID OF ME BY RUSHING INTO BUYING. AND, RETURN POLICY IS HORRIBLE--NO RETURN OF PRODUCTS IF YOU ARE NOT SATIFIED OR SO. THEY DO NOT EVEN PRICE MATCH. GOOD BLESS WITH THEIR BUSINESS POLICY."

"Excellent service, price and shipping. I ordered my part and in two days it was at my door. I will definitly be using them again. The prices are low, even though there is a handling fee, it was still cheaper than anywhere else I found."

"I placed an order for a Holley Carburetor on the website for 444.52. After the order was placed, I received an email saying that the price was incorrect and an additional $41.93 would be required to ship the item. This is about the most unprofessional and unethical practice I have ever encountered from a large company who apparently prides themselves on customer service. When I called to inquire, the woman I spoke to not only had no interest in helping me and refused to let me speak to anyone else. She was very happy to cancel the order and made no attempt to rectify the situation."

"so far my experience with autopartsdealer.com on a scale of 1 to 10, ten being best is a 2. when i received my order some of the parts were missing. i called customer service and was hung up on by one of their people. then i get an email wanting me to return the order and pay for the shipping, "i don't think so " we'll see how it goes from here"

"Great price on parts, BUT would have been happy to pay extra considering the customer service is terrible. I ordered my parts and still haven't received anything, still waiting and it's been over two months now. I've called and called, even requested a supervisor, but the customer service Rep. wouldn't transfer me to one. If your not worried about getting parts delivered in a timely manner or could care less how your treated by their customer support, save some money use this company, get no help and sit and wait till you get your parts. Sorry autopartsdealers.com, NEVER AGAIN. I'll pay the extra, get treated better and have my parts within a month.

"AutoPartsDealer rules say that they will not charge you until the product ships and not until after they notify you of the charge. After my order was placed, they charged me immediately and without notification (and it was a large charge, near 1500$), even though the tentative ship date was 10 days away. After the 10 days I called to see if the parts were shipping that day and they said that they were canceling the order....and again they had not notified me at all of the cancellation. And they said it would be 5-7 days more to get my refund...even though they had my money for 10 days already. And, all this took over an hour on the phone. If I were you I would be VERY careful in purchasing any parts from this company."

"Everything they told me was NOT TRUE.

Item showed in stock on website, still shows as in stock. Item is back ordered with no stock date.

Called customer service. Call was answered after 5 min, then I was told somebody else will have to help me, and was put back on hold. Waited 70 minutes listening to a recording every two minutes that I was "FIRST IN LINE TO BE ANSWERED".

Finally, 70 min later, rep stated "back ordered" we sent you an email stating it was back ordered. I did get an email, it stated the order was estimated to SHIP THE NEXT DAY.

I also checked my junk mail. No second back order email was sent.

The order status on their web site stated "No status available".

It appears the company knows what to tell you to keep you interested while they mislead you.

"So far not happy at all.
Made a order for custom head gaskets that said they would ship in 7-10 days.
Well its been over a month,no returned emails,no tracking,no returned calls about messages left,nothing.
Today I got someone on the phone who gave me a brushed off response saying their warehouse would not answer the phone so they could not tell me anything.
Needless to say I have a complete motor getting built and is sitting in the shop and I still can't tell them anything about the needed gaskets.
"They will call me back".
And since these are a custom made piece I can't even get my money back without peniltys or at all from what I read at their site.
So to me they have my money/parts and I can not do anything.
I will never buy from again,Nothing but a problem for me with no answer to wear my parts are.
I have never left a review like this before but....
I guess if I don't get a call back from them with in the next couple days I will ask my cc company what I can do from there side.

6/01/11 still nothing from the company.

"The process of ordering, on line, was user friendly. The product was in stock and it was processed in an expeditous manner. The shipping cost for a horn button was a little expensive for the size and weight of the item. Other than that, I recommend others to use Auto Parts Dealer. "
