Contractors and Business Customers Beware:

"Amazon’s Guarantee delivery is actually not a Guarantee. It is through whatever carrier they decide to send your package.

I am flipping a house while I live in it. I have contractors and suppliers who all meet their deadlines. Not one contractor or supplier has cost me the time nd money this has.

I have been doing business with Amazon for years. I have an account through one of my businesses. I am seriously contemplating shutting this account down.

I ordered a shower system, 2 faucets and 2 bath lights for the finishing touches on the bath. The most important product is the shower valve as the Plumber and tile guys are waiting for it. Everyone is shut down because Amazon cannot get the delivery to me or find out where it is.

Unfortunately I will have to spend my time finding new products at local a supplier, Home Depot or Lowes after spending hours looking for what I wanted and finally thinking I found it on Amazon.

Unfortunately my contractors may have to move to other jobs and our job will have to be put off a month or 2. Luckily the toilet is working.

I won’t bore you with the 2 hrs on the phone with Amazon and 1 with UPS the 8 people who where powerless to help. Yes 8 people. The interesting thing was the first girl in the beginning had the most solutions. The supervisors by the way as the highest Amazon person us little customers are permitted to talk to are a person on the “membership leadership team” Chelsy. What a joke. According to her Amazon gives them absolutely no ability to be leaders with us the customers/members. No ability to get needed products or answers.

I was informed by Amazon that they cannot and will not call UPS to get my items delivered. I ended up spending another 1 hour on the phone with UPS so far. I am now on hold for the second time. All this time and my goal is to drive 45 minutes each way the UPS distribution center to pick up and deliver my own package. I estimate this will be 2+ additional hours my time plus gas and milage on my vehicle. ALL FOR A SHOWER VALVE. In hopes of getting the supplies for the plumber and tile guys so the job does not get postponed and/or additional labor charges will be applied to the job. Amazon will not compensate for your time is what Chelsy stated to me. So they do not value their customers time obviously.

At the time of this post I have been on hold for the second time with UPS. As of now 30 more minutes.

DONT BUY YOUR CONSTRUCTION OR TOOLS THROUGH AMAZON IF YOU NEED THEM FOR A JOB ANY TIME SOON.

It would seem Amazon is getting so big they dont even have to advertise the truth or they dont understand what the definition of guarantee is. To enlighten them;

Amazon overrated

"I paid for items that was promoted as same day delivery and early next morning. Because they promoted the items as such I made the purchase. I did not receive the first item the night it was promised even though the driver was at my gate at 8:45. I then received an update for next day delivery. I queried this and the consultant came up with a lame excuse that the item was not ready. Complete **** as why was I notified the item was shipped. What was shipped? An empty box? The matter was escalated. The next morning I woke up only to find the 2nd item also had a problem and will be delayed. This was sold to me under false pretenses and Amazon has my money which does not allow me the customer freedom of choice of where I can spend my money. It is a bullying tactic. I'l rather spend my money at locals that still values customers and delivers a service to keep his family alive. Not one cocky super rich ****"

AMAZON SELLER CENTRAL

"I tried to have a seller account on AMAZON but I was suspended early on for no reason, opened several cases and never got a response. I invested a lot of money in this and they charged me a lot of fees so now I have a 68 U $ credit blocked for months and they don't want to give me back, I'm trying to contact the company for months and never got a response in any attempt to contact. This money is mine and I want it back and they do not want to return me, I do not recommend doing business with this company because we have no support and we lose our money. Below are all cases opened since June 2019 and without resolution:

Time Wasted - Misled

"I called about a glitch with my Kindle. After letting me know it was not fixable they offered me a percentage off my next order. When I got off the phone it was $10 off in my email not a percentage. After calling back it was just more time wasted. Complete lies and rudeness. Shame on Amazon."

Worst customer service in recent history

"In October I read a book and tried to leave a review of it. I got a banner that said I couldn't, so I wrote their listed department (community help) about the problem. I never received an answer, but I forgot about it. Then a couple of weeks ago I finished the sequel to that book and, again, tried to leave a review. I got the same banner, so I wrote again. I waited a couple of days, received no answer, and wrote again. I went through that cycle three more times before, in exasperation, I opened a chat with customer service. 2-1/2 hours and seven agents later (really???) all I could get was someone would fill out a form and send it over to community help. Again, after several days I received no answer. So forget chat, forget emails: I called last night. I got poor agent Iris, who said the best she could do was to fill out a form and send it over. This time I asked for name, rank and serial number.
Today I received an email from "community help" with a very vague and totally unsatisfactory answer that certain :elements: in my account precluded reviewing said author's work. Certain "elements?" What in Sam Hill does THAT mean? I have responded, saying I need to know more, and what their appeal process is. What do you bet that there isn't one?
Amazon has now tied Comcast in the quest for the Gold Medal of Worst Customer Service Ever.

Horrible Customer Service!!!

"First, I can't trust Amazon on buyer comments. I placed 3 bad review comments and all 3 got rejected. This is not coincident. It is manipulating the actual feedback.

Second, suggest potential buyers never get a replacement from Amazon. Get a full refund first then see if Amazon has another item to be purchase again. I am a prime member and I bought a cutting board 1 week before Thanksgiving. I thought that 2 days delivery will be fine, It turned out a horrible experience. I chose the replacement path and Amazon has no delivery date for the replacement item so I waited for 1 day to see. On the next day, I call and Amazon said there is none in stock therefore there is no delivery until they get back in stock. I cancelled the replacement order to get refund and that item was disappeared from my order list right away. To make a long story short, I returned the item but did not get my refund. So after Thanksgiving, I called back, Amazon received the cutting board but chose not refund for what ever reason is. May be the original order was still in the replacement status.

Third, now Amazon collecting taxes, has issue with same day delivery, horrible refund process. Amazon is my last place to shop. I am considering cancelling prime member and short Amazon stocks

Amazon shipping has deteriorated badly

"Since Amazon stopped using FedEx, three of my orders were lost. One was never received, one of them, I reordered, then both showed up. One I never received and a current one was supposed to be a 2-day delivery - it is now 6 days and I have not received it.

I notice that this review is tied to a product, which appears to be Amazon putting this on the seller. In reality, it is Amazon falling down on the job, not the vendor.

If Amazon can't guarantee their shipping time, they need to stop saying "guaranteed 2-day shipping". Their guarantee is meaningless.

If they don't get their shipping squared away, I won't be the only unhappy customer. Maybe they don't care, until it affects their bottom line.

CAN'T TRUST

"I purchasea a earphone Beoplay E8 2.0 on Amazon, but received a wrong item. They told me that I can just return but no replacement. I compromised and accepted this unreasonable solution. I returned the EXACT item I received in the same package. However, after one month they received the item, there's no refund. After I contacted with them for several times, they told me that I didn't return the correct item because of the serial number. I'm very confused. Out of kind trust, I didn't take photos or vedios when I opening the package as a proof. But Amazon, which supposed to be a highly-reputated corporation, didn't trust its customer. Customer has to take charge of the seller's mistakes. We have to pay money and time on that. It's totally unacceptable. It's the WORST shopping experience I've ever had!"

Terrible Customer Service

"Amazon has become terrible since beginning their own prime delivery service in our area. I have never had an issue with deliveries from usps, ups or fed ex. Delivery issues have spiraled with Prime and range from cannot find address ( clearly marked on from of home) to being delivered to a home a few doors down which is vacant. Actually watched a driver get out of his vehicle, looked around lost and was about to put my package at the house a few doors down. When he saw me he asked where 319 was.

I just got off the phone with them minutes ago and was informed a delivery was sent to the wrong prime dispatch center by amazon but they will not do anything about it until expected delivery date passes. So in other words they hold my hard earned money while I get zero satisfaction from customer service even though the mistake is 100% on them. Best part is when I asked what can be done to compensate my time dealing with issues which are not my fault I am offered a 5$ credit on my prime membership. Prime has no longer become beneficial and I will be changing my online shopping to ebay or other companies.

Amazon.com Fraudulent Practices

"I am an individual who has been selling products on Amazon for over ten years. I order products through a drop ship wholesaler who represents hundreds of manufacturers and over 13,000 products. Our wholesale outlet is one of the most respected in the country and purchases only from verified trademark holders for redistribution. Because of the numbers involved, the manufacturers might not know my name. However, I have an account in good standing with the wholesaler. I list my products on Amazon by means of a data feed directly from the wholesaler. Occasionally a manufacturer/trademark holder may grow concerned about counterfeit products offered on Amazon and submit blanket complaints about every retailer they see on Amazon whose name they do not recognize. This happened to me. When this happens I immediately contact the wholesaler to ask for a letter of verification and an introduction to the manufacturer/trademark holders as proof that I sell products sourced only from the trademark holder - not counterfeits. I also request and receive letters of verification from the manufacturer/trademark holder. At Amazon's request I also submitted invoices from the wholesaler to show that I purchase products from the legitimate source. These letters and invoice are attached as Exhibits to this complaint. Once these documents have been submitted Amazon stopped communicating with me. All I received were automated e-mails stating that I need to submit the documents I already submitted. Using automation Amazon repeats the same complaint and document request over and over ignoring the documentation sent to them. After several automated e-mails, Amazon stopped replying altogether.

After several weeks of sending automated e-mails Amazon suspended my account and held the funds for the sales I had already completed. The unpaid balance due to me is $312.68. When I requested the release of the funds, Amazon sent one automated e-mail saying I could expect a response in 7 days. I contacted them again after 14 days and received an automated response saying Amazon will not release the funds, they will not provide the reason and will no longer communicate with me. The customer paid me, not Amazon, for the merchandise I delivered. This money does not belong to Amazon. The maneuver of not transmitting to me the proceeds of my sales does not seem to be even legal. The use of robot e-mail replies on Amazon's part hints to my mind at fraudulent intent.

Conclusion: Please help me in getting Amazon to release the $312.68 I earned selling on Amazon. I am not interested in reinstatement as an Amazon seller, since I believe they deal fraudulently with vulnerable individuals attempting to sell merchandise on their website.

Additional Information: I believe this process of (1) Accusing a seller of wrongdoing (2) Ignoring a seller's defense (3) Holding the seller's balance due presumably for be kept as Amazon's personal business property - this process is a generalized fraudulent scheme. The basis for my belief is the number of complaints by sellers on Amazon who has voiced the same complaint.

JUNK

"Amazon is a burden on the US economy. They take business away from the small businesses that built this country. On top of all that, 90% of what I got from then is pure junk! I will not use Amazon or Amazon Prime anymore."

Prime is a rip-off, stealing from customers.

"Vast number of failed Prime delivery windows. Customer service lies about reasons for failed deliveries constantly. I’ve been told it’s in the truck, driver will be there by 9pm, driver is 4 stops away! Item never delivered. Emails sent to CEO have had no impact. Amazon’s revenue for Prime is staggering. Amazon has no true investment in ensuring Prime commitments to customers. They want your money. They have become to big to manage their delivery system. Go Ebay!"
