Terrible Customer Service

"In the last 6 months I've purchased 125 items on Amazon. I've used the same credit card for those purchases. My delivery address and my billing address are exactly the same. Both of my sons started fall classes this week, and surprise, surprise they need lots of things -- calculators, cooking stuff, etc. Yesterday, I sat down to bite the bullet and started ordering stuff on Amazon. You know you're in trouble when you use one-click and a screen pops up asking you for your address and other info. About half of my orders didn't go through and were denied by my credit card company who said Amazon submitted a billing address that was different from my billing address. I swore on stack of bibles that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was changed regarding my billing address. My CC company wouldn't honor the purchases I made. Now try finding an Amazon customer service representative who will help you with this ridiculous problem. NADA. How about this as a customer response to non-existent service? For every item denied, I plan to buy 10 items through Google or any other independent seller. I doubt Amazon cares, but I will feel better."

Amazon makes a mistake and I have to pay for it

"Ordered an AMD 3900X but received a 3800x instead. Talked to live chat and originally they offered me 20% refund to keep the 3800x. I declined since I needed the 3900X for the 12 cores 24 thread processor. I asked if I can have the 20% credit so I can use it towards a 3900x and it was suppose to be like that. But when I went ahead and tried to create a RMA to return this processor. It will only refund me $507.63 instead of $634.54.

So, live chat said to send it back and they refund me $634.54 even though the RMA said the refund amount is $507.63. So, I accepted it anyways and i'm hoping the I will receive the full refund. If not then I will have to call my credit card company.

This stupid mistake Amazon did cost me money since I originally ordered from shoprbc.com for 665.68 and I canceled through them because amazon had this amazing price but I guess it was an error. They could've sent out emails to inform their customers of the mistake but nooooo they let it ship anyways.

At the end of the chat. It asked me to rate how the service was. I gave all 1 stars and it asks if I wanted a phone call. They called and hung up on me. Great service Amazon!

Anyways I requested refunds for everything I purchased within the last 30 days and canceled my Prime account.

Site Nags you constantly to join Amazon Prime

"When Amazon Prime went up to $129 a year, I cancelled and started doing most of my ordering through Walmart. There are still some items I purchase on Amazon that are not available on Walmart. The problem with this is ordering on Amazon is highly frustrating. They constantly nag you to join Amazon Prime. Today I placed an order for over $30 because shipping is supposed to be free. I went to the checkout and was nagged with a message "You have been selected for a 30-day trial of Amazon Prime."

The free shipping on orders over $35 was missing and the only option I had was to pay $5.99 for pony express delivery (the shipping is deliberately delayed if you refuse to take the offer and an order of shirts now has an estimated delivery of Aug 26 for order placed on Aug 12th. Warehouse that items come from is 70 miles from me. I could walk and pick up my items before they deliver them.

On top of that, each click to the next screen nagged me to join Amazon Prime or try Amazon Prime for 30 days. I want two click checkout. They have my address, they have my payment method... get over the Amazon Prime. I can placed 50 orders through Walmart and get it in less than 2 days without paying $129 a year for two day shipping. I don't use the other Amazon Services -- only shipping.

My wish is the federal government nails Jeff Bozo the clown for anti-trust violations.

"ordered a item paid extra forn2 day shipping..today makes day 3 and still waiting. customer service is even worse, cant tell me where my package is or when it will be delivered!! AMAZON HAS GONE DOWN HILL VERY FAST AND I DO NOT TRUST THEM ANYMORE"

Amazon is bad for our children's future

"Amazon Prime is nothing but hook and bait scheme. The products are advertised as something like ... buy within 7 hours and 23 minutes and recieve your order the next day.... but Amazon only tells you that you were mistaken to expect next day delivery and that they informed you that the order would deliver 3 to 4 days later. Oh by the way, such email is never sent AND if they send it, it is after you had already ordered the product.

So...the Prime Member benefits?
1) videos and music (you can already get those elsewhere and quicker)
2) special offers (i havent seen any that i would purchase out of the ordinary necessity)
3) the BUY SOON AND GET IT TOMORROW SCHEME (is exactly that, a scheme. And if you try to get help from a customer service associate, they will repeat the same LIES, treat you like you are stupid, and argue with you)

Amazon Prime shipping advertisement is an out right false advertisement AND designed to squash small business sellers. Why? Small business sellers cannot afford to deliver their products the next day. By Amazon advertising that they will do that, they directly compete against their own customers (Amazon receives a large commission from them), the small business sellers. In all business, there is a strict rule that business platforms who profit from lending/leasing/providing something to other businesses cannot directly compete against those same businesses under the same platform - but Amazon does that without consequences. What's more is that when a product is "fulfilled by Amazon:, which means the Amazon charges sellers real estate and maintenance fees by warehousing the products in Amazon's storage facilities and Amazon will process the shipments on behalf of those sellers with additional commissions paid by those sellers. Small businesses will tell you that they are harshly treated and routinely punished, financially, for not shipping their products to be warehoused and shioped by amazon. The soft extortion to snall business sellers is that they are fradulently marketing and competing so eventually force sellers to use the "fulfilled by Amazon" model or to squash them out of business altogether. What is most egregious is that most of the time, Amazon does NOT deliver on their advertisements (hence the label of 'fradulent practices') and they don't care because their business model is not about environmental friendliness nor ethics, it is about sneaky and overbearing practices that profits off the back of small businesses and downright FRAUD.

Greed rules!

"I have been purchasing on Amazon for many years, and my experience just gets worse and worse. It's the scam and subtle tricks used to lure you into doing things you don't want. Trick marketing. Drive by greed, greed and more greed. In my opinion Amazon.com is an epitome of what is killing this world. As one example (and i could come up with many), the most recent one - I just got an email saying "welcome, your PBS subscription just started" and when it finishes in seven days we'll start charging you, without you having to do a thing about it!!! Grrrrrrr, I did NOT request a subscription, and I could get on the phone for an hour or two to tell them to take their subscription and...... or hope that if I ignore it, it will go away. Go away Amazon.com. You are my worst nightmare of an organization to shop with. So, I avoid if at all possible."

Deceitful tricked by amazon

"Picked items to purchase, on check out it said get $70 gift card toward purchase. I filled out the information required, then submit, it needed more info to complete process. Amazon sent email to complete process but switched offers so to only get $20 and not the card I applied for. My credit score dropped 33 points. I was lied to by them saying my application was denied by Chase bank, I called Chase bank the app was not even sent to them. One person at amazon told me it could be reversed, after talking with credit bureaus it can't be reversed. Amazon makes it convenient to buy but be careful of deceitful practices by them to benefit other vendors.
I will limit my purchases through Amazon and not get scammed again.

I truly hate Amazon and I live right by it

"They're constantly trying to force me to download Amazon or give them my debit card number or personal information that they have no right to. They really in my personal opinion or highly unprofessional their products **** and you have to do everything over and over and everybody gets hacked if you have a device from them. Literally I feel like my life **** my Facebook's been disabled and it's all because of Amazon. I live right by Amazon and if I could get away with blowing up their building I do it. That's how much grab they cost to my life. And I know lots of people that say Amazon products ****. They fell apart even their beds they might be like $50 $20 cheaper but that 50 to $100 is quantity over quality last longer that are products when you get from a real store where you can return things and have a warranty . Not broken items in 5 minutes that were uncomfortable or ugly or dumb or didn't work right and I take quality any day of the week Amazon's product **** they don't work right and then when we try to say how we feel to get mad and hack our s***"

Don't buy coffee through amazon.com

"I bought coffee through amazon.com and it was shipped and delivered hard as a brick. I am not even going to open it because I have bought this product before at Aldi grocery store and it was fresh squishy grounded coffee to enjoy. This twin pack was way more expensive and hard as a brick. Very disappointed, will not buy coffee through amazon.com again. It ’s not even eligible to return or be refunded. Basically, Amazon.com stole my money and sold me a bad product. 25 bucks for nothing! The item was Barissimo French Vanilla Ground Coffee 100% Arabica Coffee Light Roast"

Horrible delivery

" First of all I’m disabled. I pay extra for prime to get packages in two days. And to have them delivered to my front door. Are they delivering them to my front door? No they’re lazy incompetent drivers pull into the apartment complex and dump it all off in a leasing office . Where you are expected to go get it. That also means if the leasing office is closed they listed as attempted to deliver and bring it back the next day. I’ve complained a number of times to Amazon regarding this issue. It’s happened twice in the last week. It won’t be happening anymore at least not to me because I will no longer be shopping with Amazon."
