not worth ordering

"I ordered a chair, but received a table top without legs. It took nearly a week to get a return label. I had to wait until the end of business day for any sort of response each day. No one would answer my question regarding a refund until a week later. It was a very stressful experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone."

"No option to return the item came with it and my email request has gone unanswered. I ordered the wrong size in error but there is no apparent way to easy correct this problem - could find nothing on the website, my order confirm and my email did not get a response."

Parts Missing

"I ordered Two Orange Chairs which came in very quickly!!!!
All the parts and directions to put them together were left out of the box.
After emails and three phone calls to customers service they finally arrived two weeks later!!!!!
I understand that mistakes can happen but how you take care of them speaks volumes to me.

Dishonest company with defective products

"Do NOT buy anything from this site. I purchased a bed frame and the product I received had clearly already been opened and returned by another customer. The product was defective and could not be assembled, so I asked to return the bed frame. Lexmod sent the delivery drivers to the wrong address 3 times. They are now refusing to pickup my bed frame from the correct address and/or give me a refund. They are clearly just trying to saddle customers with their defective products since no one would actually pay to keep anything from their site. "

I'd Rather Just Pay for Shipping

"This company is ridiculous. I ordered a FIVE piece sectional on May 27. They said the original date it would be delivered was August 4th, already wayyy off but I figured fine I love the couch so I can wait. Plus free shipping it's probably worth it. You get what you pay for clearly (although just in shipping, the couch was still quite expensive). The beginning of August came and the date had been changed to August 11th, not thrilled, but at this point I had waited this long what was another week. I called to follow up but after being 45th in line nobody ever got to me. Then after calling back a few times and emailing I finally got a delivery notification for the 18th. FINALLY. So the day comes and the delivery has 2 of the FIVE pieces. So now I have called, emailed, followed up, and I'm still left with 2 pieces of my large sectional and no assistance other than "we'll look into it". No ETA, just the same thing they've said EVERY time I've contacted them. I feel I have been exceedingly patient with this process, but am so frustrated with the process I'm shocked by how awful this entire process has been."

It has been a nightmare doing business with Lexmod

"Order : A bed

Message: It has been terrible doing business with Lexmod !

If I had put the delivery on hold for 5 days-- I consistently called Lexmod every single day to coordinate with Fedex.
Note that Fedex categorically said that ONLY THE SHIPPER can change this.

My question- Why was Lexmod consistently trying to mislead me in the first five days- with me calling Lexmod every single day?

Lexmod has shown terrible responsibility in processing the order and also by misleading me for 2 full weeks in the name of claim processing delay.

I trust my feedback and experience will help spread the word - and help people navigate beyond Lexmod.

Very Disappointed

"To Whom It May Concern:

I was terribly disappointed that my shipment could not be stopped upon canceling the order, especially since it was initiated within a 12 - 18 hour window after placing it. I received offers by customer service that it would "try," and kept getting notices that it wasn't en-route yet. Alas, it was not stopped and now they want to assess me a $50.00 - $60.00 shipping fee to return; that's 1/2 the cost of the item.

Granted, the reason for the return is on me, and lessons learned, as the saying goes. My prior experiences with Lexington Modern have been solid, and as an architect/interior designer, I have recommended LM to multiple clients. Seemingly, I haven't built up much good will as a returning client, or referral source.
