I m a buyer. Ebay guaranteed me my money back!

"I m a buyer. So, ebay guaranteed me my money back if i will not receiving the things i was paying for. I never got the item and as refund I got o.55cents ( as a spit in my back). The ebay maid id me cry. Not happy at all and very sad."

Ebay is only concerned about making a commission from the seller they do NOT care about what happens to the buyer

"On 06/20/12019 I made a purchase for a car part from a seller on ebay, the picture of the part in the add was correct, I gave the seller the correct year, make and model and they sent me the right part but for the incorrect year, I contacted the seller and ebay about the situation and I explained that I wanted to have the item replaced for the correct one to repair my car, after a month of B/S with ebay and the seller returned my money. Ebay did nothing to have the part replaced for the correct one. I then purchased the same part from a different seller on ebay and the same thing happened this seller now sent me the wrong part, I contacted the seller and ebay again, ebay's representatives are rude, not willing to help with the situation all that they want to do is the easiest way out by getting you a refund but for all of your time wasted that means NOTHING to ebay. I asked to speak to a supervisor about this situation and was told for over a half hour that there is no supervisor that I can speak with and when I finally spoke with a supervisor he told he that since I purchased the item so cheap that I should expect the seller to not send me the correct part , In the supervisor's own words ( if it looks to good to be true it probably is) Now mind you the price that I paid for this item is an average price that a lot of sellers are selling this item for on ebay. DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON EBAY THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A LEGAL WAY OF COMMITTING FRAUD !!"

Don't trust Ebay

"Ebay is the worst. They talk about seller protection but when I needed them most, they turned against me. They were supposed to help me with a fraudulent buyer and decided to change their minds after the fact and believed the liar. Take my advice, don't use them to sell, instead find your local selling service. They're not worth the fees either. After selling with them for 5 years I would have expected better and fair treatment "

EBAY Customer service as seller.

"We Sold an item to a customer through our Premium store Do Right Mule Sales on EBAY. The customer claims to never have lived in Florida and the shipping was paid for based on the EBAY account information for this particular customer. We printed the packing slip and the buyer paid the postage on this item. The item was sent to Florida when it was supposed to go to San Francisco. Completely not our Fault the EBAY had the wrong information. Now Ebay refuses to reimburse us for our item being shipped wrong and the blame goes on us. Saying that we didn't use Ebay to print or ship this item, when all we did was the usual shipping methods. We have a hard copy of the shipping slip and the postage for our business files. We are not happy with Ebay and are considering using Amazon for our Internet sales from now on."

Very rude and unprofessional customer service, unwilling to help and hand up the phone on you if they finished talking

"Customer service is rude, not willing to resolve problems and tell you off. They suspended my account for no reason. I tried to login from another country, then they said it wasn't me (of course I knew it was me), and they say they refuse to reinstate my account and refused to provide feedback or help reinstate it after wanting to prove that the account belongs to me. When I want to speak to their managers, they hand up on me! If you did this at Amazon for example, they would almost beg you to stay with them and sell on their platform, but Ebay is pushing its customers, users and sellers away, and don't value them at all! Management should really take this seriously and take further actions, as this will not end well and people will turn away from ebay on the longer term... My suggestion is for other users, sellers, etc. is to try alternative platforms where they love to have you! Ebay does not value it's customers and sellers, so be prepared when you deal with Ebay..."

Loosing leadership and a web site not to trust.

"When they split up from Paypal they losser their last positive sinergy.
Now a days it is a website to extinguish. There are no longer competitive prices and internal policies have changed so many times that you no longer know how they respond.
They charge you abusive selling commissions, more than 10% of the sale.

if you buy foreigner seller, ebay and Paypal didn't advice you that even paying through paypal VISA charges you extra commission for buy.

eBay's Lousy Buyer Protection

"I purchased a defective item with missing parts from this seller fro $36.55. I contacted the seller, who refused to issue a refund. I called eBay and spoke with a representative who told me, verbatim, to "Send the item back to the seller at my expense, which was $29.48, upload the tracking number, and eBay would refund my purchase amount, plus my shipping costs." I did exactly as eBay said to do. I am now out both the $36.55 I paid for the defective item that was missing parts, as well as the $29.48 I spent, at eBay's direction, for return shipping to the seller. I have fulfilled my obligations dutifully and honestly. I have given the seller proof of shipping, and the USPS explanation of why a tracking number may not confirm delivery. I have provided evidentiary proof that I returned the item to the seller. I have 100% feedback with eBay after 12 years, as a buyer and seller, and with nearly 1,000 eBay transactions. I have spent $66.03 for absolutely nothing. This is not fair, or equitable. I cannot speak to the seller's level of honesty, other than the fact that they do not have a 100% feedback score. All I want is my to have my hard-earned money, refunded to me in full. Thank you. Respectfully, Michael C. Braudy


eBay used to be one of my favorite places to shop, until very recently, when I discovered their alleged "Buyer Protection Program," benefits seemingly dishonest sellers with less than stellar feedback, rather than the buyer. I bought a defective item that was missing parts, and went back-and-forth with the seller about issuing a refund. The seller was making it very difficult to issue me a refund, but finally they said if I sent the item back, at my own expense, to China, they would refund my purchase amount. Seeing as how shipping the item to China would cost as much or more than the item I purchased, I called eBay customer service for direction. eBay's representative told me to send the item back at my own expense, and when the product was received by the seller, eBay would issue me a full refund for both the item's cost, and the cost of return shipping to China, which was nearly $30. So, I sent the item back. After a month of tracking the item's return, and no verification by USPS that the item had been delivered, since in China, according to USPS, not all delivered items receive a final delivery scan, I contacted eBay and filed a claim against the seller to make me financially whole again. eBay sided with the seller, even after I provided proof that often there is no final delivery scan by USPS in countries like China, where USPS is not responsible for delivery packages; it is China's postal service that delivers packages, and very frequently, there is no delivery scan, so there is no confirmation of delivery via the tracking number. I reached out to eBay several times to resolve the problem, and they acted inhospitably, defensive and proved to be of no use to me, the buyer, while they kept defending a seller who has a record of poor feedback. eBay even removed my totally honest negative feedback from the seller's page, when it is not their job to judge how I feel about a seller who sold me a defective item that was clearly missing parts. Other negative feedback on the seller's page confirms exactly what I had experienced firsthand, and it was a negative experience that should have been posted to warn other prospective buyers. I am now out the cost of buying a defective item that was missing parts, and the cost of return shipping, all because eBay instructed me to send the item back to the seller, at my expense, while they had lied to me about a full reimbursement. I will not shop at eBay again until they refund the full amount I paid. I have bought and sold nearly 1,000 items on eBay, and maintain a spectacular 100% feedback rating. I have completely lost faith in eBay. They are not capable of understanding how good business works. eBay can have millions of sellers, but without buyers, there would be no exchange of goods and services for money, and therefore no 10% profit for eBay to collect on transactions. I trusted eBay's representative, and I paid the price for it, but, I will never trust eBay again. On the Better Business Bureau’s site eBay has received a lot of honest reviews, and a 1 out of 5 star rating. That does not surprise me one bit. That, is an accurate appraisal of eBay's customer service and policies. I am happy to say, that by not shopping on eBay for several weeks now, I have saved a few hundred dollars, since many of my purchases were impulse buys by using the app on my iPhone, which I removed immediately following their inability to remediate the problem I experienced. There are many other places to shop online, and one that begins with an "A," has always had my back in a bad transaction. It's sad that eBay seems to have utter disregard for their buyers, whom without, eBay would generate zero revenue.

Not honoring their "guaranteed" things.

"I purchase sometimes from particular vendors because delivery is "guaranteed by" certain date. But it is not! The vendors lure you by "guaranteeing" delivery by certain date, and eBay colludes. Then you learn you aren't getting what you were "guaranteed". I lost certain opportunity because the purchased thing arrived 3 days after "guaranteed" date. And eBay does not care, and continue to lure again and again. They should be not "guaranteeing" it then. They could say something like "delivery date target is", but not "guaranteed". Thys should lose that one in court. They guarantee is a binding contract, which they do not honor, and just continue to violate it.
My last "guaranteed" item was #122856222054.

BEWARE seller Ebay will not back you up!

"Sellers receive no support when we say No l As is that's what that means. All a buyer has to say is that it came damaged. How simple is that on getting your money back. Now charging sales tax for out of state purchases

"Ebay decided to begin chargin sales tax if you live in selected states......without the sellers asking for a tax to be collected. When I buy on ebay, I assume the seller has rolled the final cost minus shipping into their item and if they wanted sales tax, they would include that in the asking price.....for an auction. Because it's an auction,....not a sale.

Well, they charge you and they don't tell you and you dont find out until you see a charge on your paypal that they took additional funds from you. Be warned.

After 20 years as a customer, this is the last day I purchase something from ebay, sorry you greedy scum. There are plenty of other out of state websites for me to purchase goods from that aren't trying to pad their wallets.
