"Despite their claim that "each device undergoes extensive in-house refurbishment with up to 90 checks", the Samsung Galaxy phone they sold me arrived with a non-functioning camera.

My request for help with troubleshooting, to see if it was a software problem which I could fix myself, was denied. All they would let me do was send it back for repair or replacement.

Since their supposedly thoroughly-checked phone did not have a working camera, I requested that they could at least provide express shipping for the return, since I'd be without a phone until they returned it. They would not do this, and even a supervisor insisted they could provide standard shipping only. (Even though they messed up!)

When they finally received the phone a week later, they told me that they could not fix it, and did not have a similar phone to replace it with. All they could do was issue a refund (which they did.) It certainly felt to me that this was their intention all along, and that fixing it would not be worth the effort.

This was a great waste of time and a very bad experience. Their customer service was abrupt and inflexible at every step, and did not go all-out to fix their mistake."

"Same scam you're hearing from others: they quoted me $237 for an iPad Pro in great condition. I sent the iPad in (carefully shipped) and they claimed the screen had "pressure marks" and lowered their offer to $27.

I rejected the offer and requested my item back. It took them 10 days to ship in the location is only 10 miles from me.

The IPad was flawless. I've since sold it on eBay for $200.

Don't waste your time with Decluttr"

"Top 3 worst experiences I've ever had. And I've had to call Comcast for support numerous times. This was the fourth phone I had purchased from Decluttr and before this, had a great experience. They do not assist in troubleshooting anymore (supposed to come unlocked and it didn't)even though they allude to this on the website and insert. The phone number for support, per insert, just goes to busy signal. Found out they don't have phone support anymore. The customer Advocate didn't do anything to help me. Needed a phone so ordered another from them and was given a small, small percent back for the trouble I was having.
