"I've had issues with damaged shipments and lost items because the items were not secured. My last two orders came in, one in a box and the other in a bubble mailer. I saw two improvements made, the box helped since it was more sturdy than the bubble mailer and the bubble mailer arrived with more tape. That's great news! There is still some area of improvement to make. If you send in a box, place enough packing paper or air bags to prevent items from shifting around. My box came with some shipping paper but was not enough to keep things from moving around, especially if there are small items like cds . You can also wrap the cds up first in plastic so they don't shift and get removed from their cases. The package in the bubble mailer came safely this time but I can see that it was starting to break apart. Who knows if it arrived a day later if it would have stayed intact and sustained the damages."
"I started off by sending in my old Surface Go. Since I had never dealt with Declutter before I was not sure what to expect, so sending in this older device was a safe bet. Within a day of receiving it, I was given the full price that had been quoted to me on the site. After that test, I sent in my Surface Pro 7. Again, after receiving the device, Declutter issued payment for the full amount I had been quoted. I used PayPal which made things even easier.
One thing to note: the devices I sent in were in pristine condition. I am not hard on my devices, so there was no visible wear. They both booted and were in good working order."
