Absent Customer service

"I would never recommend shopping here to anyone I know. I tried preemptively to return an item that I had purchased but they ignored all forms of my correspondance (phone, email, etc.). These items aren't cheap so I was really expecting a higher caliber of customer service, only to be thrown to the way side. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere, where they'd appreciate you not only as a customer, but as a person. "

Excellent Service

"Thanks for excellent service. You guys were great about replacing the chair that the freight company was missing a base for. I was able to call and make a claim and have tracking within a few days. The chair arrived in excellent condition and we are very happy with it. Thanks!!!"

The absolute worst online vendor I have ever purchased from.

"Do you want to be charged an exorbitant sum of money for a high end home or design product, only to have to wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and never receive it? Then this is the place!

I ordered an item which shows on their site as available, 2 week lead time, with possibility of expedited delivery. That turned into 10-12 weeks. That turned into 6 months...SIX MONTHS!!!...and still nothing. Then, asking for a refund, not getting it, and having to go through my CC company to get the money back (and SURPRISE - when they got the email from my CC company, they suddenly decided to reply to me). Six months holding onto my money with 0 product. Glad I could essentially give you an interest-free loan for 6 months.

They don't always get back to you and if they do, it's always an excuse: "Oh I have to check the warehouse"..."Oh, it's on backorder from our supplier"..."Oh it's going to be here in a few more weeks on [insert random date I just pointed to on my desk calendar]"..."Oh, the passenger pigeon flying it over is MIA." Ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. I'm convinced that they make their money by all the people who either forget they ordered something or just give up and that this is just a fraudulent business front that they are using to rip people off. After reading all of the other reviews posted, I am even more convinced of this. I only wish I had read them before placing my order. Do NOT buy from these people - save yourself the pain, the stress, the lost time, and the loss of money (AND NO PRODUCT!).

Beautiful Rug and Experience 100%

"I do not normally write reviews, but this was a remarkable transaction. I ordered a rug for our foyer from another company and it basically never showed up. I didn't understand the delivery window but was in a total pinch for a rug in a hurry as we were hosting my sister's engagement in a week. I picked out 4 options and called to see if I could get one in time. Working with Caitlin in service was beyond amaizng. She helped me verify it could ship within 24 hours and arrive on time. GUESS WHAT, it did. I am very grateful for the qucik delivery and the time and care she took to help me. Thank you."

Do not order from this company

"I placed an order towards the end of November for a Christmas gift this year, after two weeks of no update I called the company to see when the item would ship. I was informed at that time it would be 2-6 weeks so I cancelled the order and was told I would see my refund in 2 weeks. It’s been over two weeks now- no refund. I called them and was told it could sometimes take over two weeks for a return to hit. So I called my bank and was informed there’s no reason why the refund should take more than 5 days to hit. So now I will just continuously hound them until it shows up. Horrible customer service, horrible communication. Do not spend your money here. "

Poor communication, incomplete shipment

"Very poor communication. Insufficient information on order confirmation. Made it difficult to contact them. After no information received for 3-1/2 weeks, I reached out and was told there had been a delay but it would be in and shipped the following week. Again, no communication, but they had billed me. When the shipment finally arrived, small pieces needed for assembly were missing. The customer service line isn't available at 345p Pacific time. I could have purchased this piece from another company. Will not purchase here again."

Shipping problems

"I placed an order on their website and 13 days later still had no confirmation of shipment. When I contacted them, my order was “coincidentally” shipped that same day! They responded to my email with tracking information but my gut feeling was that my order was not going to be fulfilled unless I reached out to them with my inquiry. Not such great customer service!"

"I looked everywhere under the sky for a wall hanging that was perfect in our mid century modern. I didn’t want to do a huge investment piece but I wanted something powerful in the space. I found an oversize hanging that worked perfectly and it makes the room.

Slow shipping, bad design, horrible customer service

"Dear all, I am writing this review after receiving the pillows I ordered from Burke. After more than weeks of wait, and no communication on their part, I finally receive them. When I opened the package, the pillows were absolutely tiny: the website says 14*14 but this is absolutely not the dimensions of the pillow fully "made". The dimensions are 12*12, and 14*14 must be when their cover is flat without anything inside. But this should have been mentioned on the website. In addition, and this is the worst part, the pillows are so badly cut (they are supposedly handmade) that there are almost no corners. The corners are not even rounded, they are asymmetrical. These pillows are horribly made. When I called their customer service, they told me that they could initiate a return but I would have to pay for the shipping costs. No apology whatsoever. Please do not order from them, or if you do, be prepared to be utterly disappointed, or even more, frustrated by the incompetence, the lack of customer service and an unapologetic salesperson!"
