"It has been 3 weeks, and I have not received my order yet...nor do I know if it has been cancelled, shipped, or on backorder or none of the above.

I e-mailed "customerservice" 3 times about the status. All you receive when you do that is an automated message saying to check the order status yourself on their website. Well guess what? Their tracking system doesn't work.


Most the positive reviews below are horribly misleading. With this company you only get good service, if you a) get extremely lucky or b) have a business account with them. The reps will only care if they are making commission off of you.

Have never received a response from this company, so after all that wasted time, I will have to call.

This company is shady at best. And should not even be in business with the way they treat their customers.

"I placed an order on Fri 3/30/07 at 2pm PST. They claimed same day shipping for orders placed before 3pm. Alas, nothing happened. I finally called on Tue 4/3/07 to find out what was going on, as the on-line order status simply reported: In Process. They told me that the product was unavailable, and there was a web-site error. Nary an apology. Just that's it, order is cancelled! No email! I had to call them to find out. Meanwhile, I had to re-order the product elsewhere. Lame customer service."

"Seller canceled order for no given reason. I still haven't received a cancellation email after over an hour. Bait and switch = fraud. Use caution with Zones--or better yet, don't deal with them at all."

"The service is great, and fast and the prices are always fair.. I know some people out there are big cheapo's and you can usually find a better price somewhere out there on the web but for just a couple of dollars more you can have outstanding service with a fair price. My pakcages always come on time but if there is a problem I know that my rep will always handle for me. I use Tod ext 3230 he is great!!!"

"I ordered a HP Ipaq HX4705 from zones they sent me a HX4700 and it was refurbished unit. This was after they told me that they would send a new unit. The fact that it was a refurbished unit was not apparent from looking at the Handheld. I noticed it from product damage and a small book about “The warranty on your refurbished unit.” They did take the unit back but would not send me a new one they made me go through the order process again but told me that "they could not get one in.""

"I ordered an X800 XT Platinum from this retailer at a very reasonable price, and only later came to this site and saw that it had generally negative feedback. So I decided to cancel and order somewhere else. When I called them this morning to cancel they said "Well, the item is in our warehouse and it might have already shipped" but I told them to cancel anyway.

Right before I received the email saying that the order was cancelled I got another email from them saying the item is backordered, when they plainly told me not 2 hours ago that the item was in their warehouse and ready to ship. Something obviously fraudulent is going on here, and I wouldn't recommend relying on them for anything.

"Fantastic price on a Sony LCD monitor (down some 15-20%), broad range of shipping choices with no extra charges, and they shipped the same day I ordered. I received emails from them at every update in status to my order, and the order status page is easy to use and very informative.

These guys seem to have gotten a bad rap in the past, but I tried them anyway because of the low price. If my experience is any indication, they've turned themselves around for the better in a big way.

" I ordered a radeon 9800 xt at an amazing price on October 29th. Before I placed my order I called to make sure the item was in stock. The representative told me there were 15 currently in the warehouse and they could be shipped as soon as I ordered one. I informed him that I needed the card by November 13th for a LAN party I was going to attend. He told me no problem. So I placed my order, only to find the next day that I was on backorder. Naturally I was angry so I called their customer support where I was told the item would be in stock on November 1st, no problem except it never arrived. Over the coarse of two weeks i was told the item would be arriving on November 4th, then November 6, then November 8, then November 12th. Of coarse they missed getting it in time for my LAN party, but the price still couldn't be beat so I still kept my order. Next they told me November 17th and then November 18th. Now I am writing this review on November 19th and they changed the expected day to December 3rd. TOTAL GARBAGE!"

"I ordered a Sony F717 at an obviously very low price from zones.com with overnight shipping. I didn't receive the product and just checked on the order. It says that it has been cancelled. If this was a price mistake, they should still hor what is listed online. I will never order from this company again, and buyer should beware!"

"I purchased a Sony DCR-TRV950 mini DV camcorder and NP-QM91 M Battery. The Camcorder was showing
out of stock but it still only took a week and I recieved it as ordered. The Battery was also a popular item and was out of stock and was told this would probably take two or more weeks to get from past experiance. I ordered it anyway. I received the battery six days after the camera to my surprise. Dan the Salesman was honest about the times and went the extra mile to complete my order and keep me infromed. Thanks

"Ordered two 512MB CF cards. Within an hour got a voicemail from Peggy letting me know there was a problem with my credit card. I called back and gave a different card, and -thought- I gave the correct address (moved recently, and thought I had everything transferred over, but I rarely use that card). Not long after got another call from Peggy to let me know that there was a problem with this card also. I've just given her my old address information and she said she'd call back if there was any problems. I've ordered quite a few things online before (this is the first time from Zones) and have never before been contacted so quickly to reslove problems (especially when they were both my fault). Will post an update after the package arrives, but so far I'm very happy.

UPDATE: Got an email that same day to let me know that it was backordered, and that I wasn't charged yet (wouldn't be charged until it shipped). I ordered the cards b/c of a rebate that was offered, but the rebate was kind of strict and I got worried about not sending the rebate off in the required time. I called today and cancelled the order with no problem at all.

The order was placed on a thurs, and cancelled on a tues, BTW.
I would do business with them again for sure.
