The Night Time Shopping Nightmare

"Yesterday, at about 9:40 PM, we began to shop at the Zebulon North Carolina Walmart Super Center. I had over $80.00 in food products. The problem is with going to check out. Walmart just started a new initiative there. They send the cashiers home and require that you use self check-out. The problem is, there were about 20 plus people trying to check out, and half of them had carts overflowing with merchandize. Self check cannot handle large orders, and the machines break and stop working with large orders.

Hence, the problem. My daughter went to look for a CSR (customer services representative) to let them know they need to open registers to handle the customer overflow. The lines were extremely backed up. The CSR said, “No registers will be opened, just get two carts to check out”. That did not sit well with me, and I spoke with that CSR twice.

Well, then I asked the CSR to speak with the MOD (manager on duty) and she said, “the MOD went home and sent everybody home.” Never in my life did I shop at Walmart, in Zebulon, and there not be an MOD. She insisted there was not MOD. I told her I was going to leave my shopping cart right there and shop elsewhere. And, I did just that. We went to the Foodlion a few blocks away and the subtotal came out to be $96.70. That is a sale you all missed, strictly due to back customer services. How, on God’s Green Planet, do you have a supermarket with so many customers, with loaded carts, and refuse to handle the lines and business by opening registers. And, how do you have a store without an MOD at night.

The icing on the cake was going to the parking lot, calling into the store to ask for the MOD, and, no one answering the phone. Wow! Phenominal Customer Services. I will not shop there at night anymore. I have been shopping there at night since about 2009, I think that is when the store opened. I plan on returning to FOODLION, TARGET, etc, for the local night time needs, and, Harristeeter. All because of your poor customer services.

If you look at store video footage, you will see me there, at about that time, in a wheelchair, with God spoke guards and two kids, rolling away from a cart with $100.00 of groceries. God Bless

don't know how to ship products

"Ordered cereal, pancake mix and a few other items. They piled them all flat in a box. Cereal was smashed and the pancake mix leaked all in the box. Contacted customer service who initiated a return and reorder for the wrong items from my order. Completely didn't listen to the conversation that we were having. Also ordered 4 wire baskets which they shoved into each other to ship. They were so compressed into each other that I can't get them unstuck. I got one out and it pulled the paint off of it while doing so. I will no longer use Walmart.com until they can train people on how to pack things for shipment."

UNRELIABLE SOURCE: If they promise pick up in store the next day on in stock item...Don't believe them!

"Ordered a car battery online for pick up at store..confirmed by email..3 days past and I get an email saying order is cancelled, item is out of stock and they don't know when it will be in stock. Tracking inventory is basic. If a retailer can't be trusted to deliver when promised, you can't buy anything that is time sensitive from them. Buying from Walmart is like buying a lottery ticket...maybe they will have the item and deliver it as promised..but you sure can't count on it."

"I ordered 2 sets of sheets, they was shipped by Hayneedle. I went to return them, Wal-Mart does not accept returns from Hayneedle. And, Hayneedle charges you pistage in returns. Buyer Beware "

Never again

"Bought a few things from them in the past with no problems. Then I ordered an item from one of their retailers named Publix-Hagen (not the grocery store). I received something different than I ordered and tried to return it. Walmart.com sent me a message saying the retailer would contact me within 24 hours. That was the last I heard. I have tried to contact Walmart.com about this but all I got was sympathy from their CS people and no action. Apparently they don't screen their sellers or offer any support if you get ripped off by them. I feel like Walmart.com threw me under the bus. Beware of this website, it's not worth it."

Horrible Online Experience

"I think that it is kind of ridiculous that random independent websites can verify if an email address is valid, but I make a mistake on walmart.com, a website for a corporate company that can easily afford to streamline their online processes, and it does't let me know. Now I have no way to track my order unless I call corporate, which 99% of the time ends with me yelling at the poor people after they continually ask for the different parts of the order information information. If I had the freaking information, why would I be calling you to get it. I have the order number (finally after getting several false order numbers that weren't even for MY order) but I can't use your tracker because the email I mistyped doesn't exist, and every time I call, you tell me that the billing address or name I used is incorrect, when I KNOW my name and where I placed the order to be billed to. Thank god somebody in the telecommunications office was patient enough, and nice enough to help me by looking up my card in the system to find the order I placed with it, and then proceeded to give me all of the info I would need in the event I needed to contact the offices again. You are my hero today patient/extremely helpful phone lady. This process is way too flawed and really needs to be refined. Why do I even use this when Amazon is so much more reliable and secure. Sorry that this post turned into a rant, but spending almost $200 dollars on an order only to have it potentially lost to the system because of a stupid email address mix up is pathetic, and reminds me why I will never use Walmart.com for ordering online again. I'm genuinely surprised that Amazon doesn't pay Walmart a small commission due to how many costumers Walmart sends their way. It's almost unfair as to how much free advertising Walmart does for them."

Incompetent and Horrible

"I tried to order on-line twice and was told at end of shopping that my order was canceled due to suspected fraud. Really? I have a military address and for some reason they cannot understand how to set up their screening software for that. Amazon has no problems and I will go back to Amazon for future shopping on line. Do not waste your time with WalMart on line shopping, Too stressful."

"So I placed an online order that told me that I would have delivery Saturday May 13th. Then I receive an email that states all of a sudden that delivery won't be till Tuesday May 16th. Well that is not what I was told when I placed my order. So I call, and the representative says sorry nothing I can. So then I get put to a Supervisor Maricela, and she blames it on the company a BABY mattress is coming from and Fed Ex, instead of taking responsibility for it and getting it fixed. I even offered to go out of my way and pick it up from a store. BUT NOOOOOOOO that can't be done either. SO they lied to the me the customer, and then refuse to fix there mistake. SO walmart.com employees sit on **** and get paid to do nothing. They don't care about customers, or the fact that it was for baby to have a mattress. Just to make it clear, there was no offer to help get something in place of the one order to get to the PAYING customer on time or to have it shipped through a different carrier if FEDEX can't deliver on time. OR to fast track the shipping and pay the cost since they lied.
So Nothing was fixed and had to cancel order cause will do me no good to receive on Tuesday when need Sunday. Shop anywhere else but walmart, they are liars and HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND COMPANY!!!!!

They lost my Christmas present

"I ordered a 55" TV on Cyber Monday and paid extra to have it shipped by a certain date. I received notification on the date I was supposed to receive the tv that it had just shipped. Contacted Walmart and they said it got shipped late and refunded the extra charge I paid for early delivery. After a week, the tracking notification still said only a label had been printed, but not received yet. Contacted Walmart again. They said the 55" tv was LOST... Then said they would not honor the price and said the only thing they would do was issue a refund. FAMILY CHRISTMAS PRESENT CANCELLED!!! Really a great thing to have to tell your kid!"

Never order from Walmart again!

"I ordered graduation announcements online. When I ordered them, it said it would take a week. I waited, never received notice that they were in, so I went to the store on the day they said they would arrive, and nothing. I went online and connected with the chat agent, Gerald and was told to give it another 48 hours or cancel my order and get a refund. Unbelievable! I don't want a refund, I want my announcements! He can't even tell me when they'll come in. They are not help at all!"

walmart.com will steal your money

"Walmart suckered me into placing an order with a marketplace seller, and when I didn't get all the items I ordered Walmart refuses to do anything, says they've got nothing to do with it despite taking the order and charging my card, that all problems are handled by the seller. The seller can't be contacted, uses a fake name with a fake voicemail. Obviously a scammer, and the feedback on walmart.com shows at least a dozen people being ripped off in the month since I placed my order. I informed Walmart's corporate office of the situation, but they don't see a problem, profiting from fraud is just business as usual apparently. And when I tried to get a refund through my credit card, Walmart lied to the bank and said I never reported a problem and that the entire order was shipped. Pretty shocking experience to see a major corporation engaged in petty theft, this company has SEVERE problems, of course I will never have anything do with it going forward, but it should be shut down"

Disappointed

"I was looking for my son a toddler bed so I looked on Walmart.com on black Friday thinking I would get a deal well I found a great deal on a bed so I purchased this bed I was so excited for my son and show him the picture of his new bed he was so excited I was preparing his room when 3 days later I happened to look at my email they cancel my order due to their stupidity mistake so now I have to look at my son and tell him he is not getting the bed now thanks a lot (HORRIBLE you should be ashamed at yourself I usually do my Christmas shopping there but not again I will not allow you to disappoint me or my child again! "
