"Don't believe any review you read unless it is one star or less. USELL are thieves.... I sent my iPad to them in working, really perfect condition -- it was just older. I had it wrapped in bubble wrap x 4 so there was no damage during shipping. The offer was $120. They received it and claimed it was damaged and counteroffered $20! I declined and requested an explanation of what was damaged. NO RESPONSE. I called and left a message...NO RESPONSE. I have emailed several times with NO RESPONSE. I can only assume at this point that they have taken my device and resold it somewhere hoping I would just forget about it. Not sure of my next steps yet but seller beware. Avoid USELL at all costs.... "

"Used them in the past and was successful. Now I feel scammed they received my phone on 7/19/19 sent in about 3 emails and left one voicemail I have not heard anything yet! After seeing these reviews I am far from hopeful sad to say but I’ve been scammed. "Received free postage paid kit and was charged $2.78 by mail carrier for extra postage. Contacted USell and they immediately responded with promise to reimburse. I was impressed with the customer service but unfortunately that was short lived. 7/ 5/19 received email that phone had arrived and was in their possession. That is last correspondence from them even though I have emailed them 3 times since and all I received was automated emails that they got my email and would respond in two business days...hasn’t happened. I feel like they have stolen my phone and as of moment I have no recourse other than spreading the word that they do not deliver as promised and will make sure everyone knows that they are not what they claim to be. Hopefully I can spare someone else from believing the hype."

"On 6/9 I requested a quote for my phone and requested they sent me a postage-paid kit to send my phone to them in exchange for $246.00. On 6/10 they placed the shipping postage-paid kit in the mail. On 6/15 I sent them my phone in the postage-paid kit that I received, and on 6/17 they received my phone. On 6/20 I sent them an email requesting an update and they apologized and said my phone should have been inspected/paid out earlier but it has not and it should be within the next two business days. Two days passed. I have sent multiple emails to them. I have also placed multiple calls to them and left a voicemail but it appears that the phone number doesn't go to a live person and will only go to a voicemail system. I understand delays may happen for a good reason but at least be responsive when it comes to letting the customer know and follow up with the customer when needed. So far it has been a while, I have no phone and no money to show for, this is really concerning.

I received my phone back after complaining through different channels.. When my phone arrived, it arrived with a crushed charger port as if someone pinched it with a pair of pliers.. It certainly wasn't that way when I sent my phone and I can't imagine it being damaged that specific way during shipping.. It appears that my phone was damaged when it was in the possession of Usell..."

Add to this the fact that they are saying they received the phone that they offered $85 for in "damaged" condition and with LCD burn in, offering $10, and you have one unhappy consumer!
