I've bought an adorable handmade 'pumpkin' Yixing teapot as well as a couple Chinese tea sets, and all of them were of wonderful craftsmanship. They arrived in perfect condition and in good time, depending on the selected shipping. Umi Tea Sets has a wide selection of products, though they do vary (things tend to change, especially in relation to tea sets, pots and cups).
The tea has always been delicious and of good quality.
I also ordered a tea table, which arrived very well packed and is made of solid wood. It's impressive and a true centerpiece of my 'tea room'. It was easy to assemble, we just had to attach the legs to the top of the table, and the chairs came as is. The delivery took longer than anticipated, which was not Umi Tea Set's fault (it's the current global shipping situation), so please be aware of that if you do place an order for large objects from the site. Umi Tea Set's customer service was very apologetic about the situation and kept me up to date on the item's tracking.

"I purchased the ice crack ge kiln teapot first. As I am in North America, I did not think about the size of the teapot. If you are North American, be warned this teapot is extremely small. Like it doesn't even fill a normal sized tea mug. But it would be perfect for Gongfu, which is what it was designed for. It is a beautiful, quality teapot, my favorite pot that I own. I am sad it is not larger, but it is stunning. It was extremely well packaged.
I bought a glass teapot (with tin plum) next. I bought it for fruit tea, as my yinxing clay pot picks up the strong fruit flavours and ruins my green tea. It is exquisitely delicate, and beautifully feminine and will fill 2 standard north american coffee/tea sized mugs comfortably. Also it was packaged like fort knox. This company takes extreme care of all of their delicate pots.
Next I bought the Chinese Blue Flower Office Tea Cup with infuser. I love that the infuser is designed to sit in the lid when you flip it over, so compact, self sufficient. The blue colour is gorgeous, it is very slightly oversized which is perfect for sipping away at delicious tea whilst whiling away an afternoon.
I chose to buy from this company the first time because the pots looked beautiful. I came back and purchased more pots and teacups because of the quality of the craftsmanship, the attention to detail and care taken in delivering the teaware.
Top notch. If you are like me and wanted something a little different, a little more authentic, this company delivers.

"I have been looking for a tea tray as a gift for a family member who loves tea. However it is surprisingly difficult to find a high quality, well designed tray from a reputable company through online searches, and I am so glad I ended up ordering the Lotus Pattern Wooden Gonfu Tea Tray from Umi Tea Sets. The tray is beautiful and well sized, and it looks like it was built to last for a while; I would say the pictures are accurate and representative of the product on the website. Because it is being delivered from China, I'd recommend ordering it several weeks ahead of time if you are international and need it by a certain date; the shipping time seemed to be variable (although partially related to COVID). Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and will likely end up buying more products from Umi Tea given their wide range of tea-associated accessories -- I'd never seen a stone tea tray with mist before finding this website. "While looking for my first Yixing teapot I came across UmiTeaSets, I also found a Japanese teapot, a tea utensil set, and a tea caddy at UmiTeaSets. I received all items together with no issues. I was pleasantly surprised that everything came individually boxed with plenty of packing material, I even mentioned to my wife they use more packing material than was needed.
The quality of each item has exceeded my expectations. The Yixing pot is not the purple clay type but is nice. I can easily pour tea while holding the top with my thumb. The pour is nice and smooth, I do need to turn the teapot straight up to empty the teapot. I followed a video on youtube on how to season the teapot and it went well. I seasoned it with oolong tea and everything seems to be going along as expected.
The next teapot I purchased was the Japanese teapot, which I use for my herbal teas. The mix of the sand-clay and wooden handle feels very comfortable and appears that it should last a long time. The handle placement and angle make it super easy to pour, I don’t need to turn the teapot up as much as my Yixing teapot to empty the pot. The sand-clay does a good job of holding heat while the tea is steeping.
The utensil set is a nice-to-have item but brings the whole tea drinking experience together. It makes a nice accent piece for the tea-making area and I have received a couple of compliments about it.
The tea caddy is pretty close to air-tight if not 100% air-tight. I use this to hold some Japanese matcha tea bags that I was gifted. "
