UPS - The worst company in the world

"UPS... For starters, I have NEVER left a bad review for any company, but I felt more than compelled to do it with UPS.

I have never done business with a company whose methods and customer support are so horribly bad that it made my blood boil when trying to get an issue resolved (their drivers require signatures even though the shipper does not). Honestly, I thought I was going to have a heart attack due to the unbelievable frustration I experienced in having to deal with them.

It takes more than an hour just to get somebody on the phone and then their broken english personnel shuttle you from department to department and finally just hang up on you when you voice your feelings.

And don't even ask about their frustrating phone robot which also hangs up on you after giving you a set of options which do not apply to you. And, ironically, the last thing the robot says before it disconnects you is "We appreciate your business"... What a laugh...

If this was the last company on earth, I would choose to die before doing business with them. I hope and pray that they go out of business SOON. If you have a choice, take your business elsewhere. You won't regret it.

Horrible Customer Service

"Amazon used them to deliver 2 dozen roses to my sister. They didn't follow basic delivery instructions. Instead of delivery to to the front desk of the stroke rehab, they gave the package to some passer-by. They got the guy's name, but staff said no one by that name worked there. I spent hours on the phone with staff and Amazon trying to get my money back or locate the flowers. UPS hung up on me, staff manning their Twitter account flat out refused to be helpful, and those manning the customer service email were flat out rude. My husband's bank, the biggest in the nation, just went with FedEx instead, because he told them how UPS staff behaved in this matter. Actions (or in this case inaction and passing the buck) have consequences. I'd definitely fire some staff who obviously don't take their jobs very seriously and have cost you business UPS! Shame on you all! "

UPS needs to hire someone that knows what the hell they are doing. UPS app is a waste without updated info.

"I ordered a ham for Thanksgiving. It was shipped 2 day delivery on 11/10. The delivery driver brought it on the 13th but wouldn't leave it. The tracking stated "incomplete address listed on the shipping label." I tried to correct the address on the ups app. It wouldn't let me because the updated address was the address already on file. The same address that they delivered to repeatedly for the past year. After 3 days of repeatedly calling, I was finally able to speak to a live person. She verified that the address on the label was correct and a deliverable address. 3 days later the tracking app still reads "no delivery date available." It is now 4 shipping days left before Thanksgiving. Customer service will not connect me to a live person, and the automated service keeps repeating that when the package is located, a delivery date will be available. If I ever need guaranteed delivery by a specific date again, I now know that UPS is unreliable and untrustworthy. "

Train employees / small box

"went through 7,agents and 1, supervisor for 1 small box.paid $15 for shipping, then paid $11. I was promised a shipping label. Ups came twice to my home.first guy knew nothing of the label.second guy said he for got it. Supervisor then tell me they don't do it.out of 7 people who promised me the same thing.this place is a joke.i will call FedEx next time.people stay away, bad business. "

Threatening and intimidating driver, refused cancer medication deliver

"Ups is absolute Garbage. I will never do business with this crappy company, in fact I refused to do business with any company that uses UPS, personally and for all of my businesses, deliveries from them since last year. They refused to deliver cancer medicine to me this past week because of an incident stemming back to a verbal attack by one of their drivers last year. Last July a driver never delivered a package, as my security cameras showed. I called UPS and an hour later said driver showed up and immediately started verbally attacking me, starting off with saying, "what the f_ck is your problem?" I replied that you never attempted to deliver my package and my cameras can provide it." He called me bat sh_t crazy as he came right up to me chest to chest. I told him to sit the package down and remove himself from my property. I just stared directly at me and didn't respond. I told him again to get off my property and don't try to threatened and intimidating me with posturing in an aggressive manner. That I will call the police. He only turned to leave once I stepped right up to him. I called UPS, which is impossible to contact anyone and told over 10 times to get ahold of an actual person. The person who answered was sympathetic and said the warehouse manager would call to take and investigate the situation. This never happened. I called repeatedly again and when I finally got a person, they stated that the warehouse manager banned deliveries to my address. Talk about victimize the victim. With all the horrible stories of UPS drivers being caught doing bad things to consumers it is outrageous that they told sides with a drivers defense, and lies to protect himself. Of course, this driver is still out there harassing consumers and I get penalties for his aggressive and threatening action. Now I get victimized further as my cancer medication was refused to be delivered. Absolutely disgusting company."

UPS COURIER EXPERIENCE

"MY UPS COURIER EXPERIENCE REVIEW
(THIS IS FOR ALL OFW WHO’S PLANNING TO SEND BALIKBAYAN BOX.)

Last NOVEMBER 27, 2020 I sent TWO PARCELS from SOUTH KOREA TO CEBU, PHILIPPINES.
Since I can’t go home because of the pandemic we’re facing right now. I decided to send package to my mother. Before I already sent parcels many times to CEBU CITY.

I have always been using EMS POST OFFICE because of their fast and reliable service. The EMS POST OFFICE told me that “Only UPS COURIER can go to CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES.” So, I have no other options but to send my package using UPS COURIER. I paid DOUBLE PRICE FEE than the usual I paid for EMS POST. I was hopeful that my package will be delivered early. And “YES, IT WAS DELIVERED EARLY and THAT WAS THE SECOND PACKAGE.”

The First parcel has a tracking number 1Z65533F0468153217. And the Second parcel has a tracking number 1Z65533F0468316407.
The second parcel was delivered on December 1, 2020 at 4:19 pm and paid CUSTOMS Tax amount in Philippine Peso 2,516.00 (Two Thousand five hundred sixteen peso).

So, I was hoping that the FIRST parcel will come anytime soon. But days, weeks, and months passing by it hasn’t arrive yet. So, I wonder what happened. I sent an email to UPS CUSTOMER AGENT. Fast forward, we exchanged mails with the agent. They asked me documents such as AIRWAY BILL, PROOF OF PURCHASE, AND CREDIT CARD STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT. So, I have given all of the documents they asked.

Then again, they are asking “FDA PERMIT.” Then I emailed them again. “Why are you asking me FDA PERMIT? When I am just sending these items as gifts. Is there any other way so that my parcel will be delivered? Or should I pay more tax than the usual?” and then they calculated that I should pay the amount in Philippine Peso 5,285.00 (Five thousand two hundred eighty-five peso). Then I agreed to the agent that I will be paying that amount just the parcel to be delivered.
The last email that I have received was on January 15, 2021. “This email acknowledges the receipt of your message. We’ll proceed with customs clearance tonight.” Then I waited again and hopefully it will be delivered anytime soon.



Last January 26, 2021 and February 17, 2021 I have sent an email to the agent but the agent didn’t reply. So, I sent an email to their new agent last March 2, 2021 and give the necessary details of the parcel. The agent replied to me March 3, 2021 the again we’ve exchanged mails until she said “I regret to advise you that I am still waiting for our counterpart's feedback regarding the retrieval of your abandoned parcel.” So, I replied her back “The parcel wasn’t abandoned. I even agreed to pay more tax so that we can claim it. And your fellow customer service agent told me last January 15,2021. “This email acknowledges the receipt of your message. We’ll proceed with customs clearance tonight.”

So, the agent again replied me on March 10, 2021 and said “I have received a feedback from our Brokerage Group that unfortunately your package cannot be located at the moment.”

And now, I am DISMAYED and FRUSTRATED. I think my gifts inside the parcel was already been used by them. At the end of the day, no matter how many emails and documents we send to them. They are trying to tell “Just give up! Its already lost or the items have been damaged and used”

SO, I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE UPS COURIER. THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST TRANSACTION OF THIS COURIER.

Worst Company for Shipping, Lost package, HORRIBLE Customer Service

"If there was a 0 rating, that is what I would give UPS! I sent a package to my daughter on November 27, 2020 containing lots of gifts for my 2 year old grandson, memorabilia from when my daughter was in elementary and middle school, clothing, special gifts of encouragement, books.

They lost my package! It went from Chattanooga, TN in a WEEK to 10 DAYS and only appeared in Colorado after another week or so. According to tracking, which is a joke, it is still in Englewood Colorado, miles from my daughter.

I have called numerous times to be told they are still trying to locate the package and they would call me back in a couple of days. DO YOU THINK THAT EVER HAPPENED? The items in that box cannot be replaced but no one in UPS cares.

Lied

"Was supposed to recieve a package i must sign for by Friday at 9 pm. Get notification at 12:30 (just minutes after recieving an amazon delivered package and an hour after doordash) that my delivery is delayed until Monday with no reason. Call customer service and deal with the terrible system yo finf the driver claimed "severe weather conditions". There are no severe weather conditions outside, not even rain; and as stated before; amazon and doordash are delivering. Finally get to a representative after several attempts by the automated service to make me abandon the call and find the driver is off on Saturdays which is why no delivery can be made the next day instead. I explain there is no sever weather other deliveries are being made, and there are still more than 8 hours left of the delivery window, quite a lot to be canceling for the whole day but am only allowed to make a formal complaint about the driver.. I am a disabled adult who works nights. This is a high value device to assist me being delivered and I feel the professionalism and integrity of UPS was very questionable today. They also lost a package of mine claiming it delivered when it was not; a few weeks ago. Managment seems to be very poor with mainting qualities with its deliverers. "
