Worst experience ever

"I sent a two day package with a cashiers check for 36K for the purchase of a car. It's now 9 days later and the package has not arrived. UPS has done nothing to fix it and said they are doing an "investigation". The investigation can last anywhere from 1 day to eight days. We're bumping up against the 8 days. The biggest issue is I had already paid $1500 for the truck to ship the car from Texas to California and the truck left, so now I have to pay another $1500 for another truck and am currently accruing $100 every day for storage until the check arrives. Totally unacceptable! Everyone I talk to says sorry dude nothing we can do. I'm up to $1800 cost for this lost package. Most expensive package I've ever sent. Could have hired a personal driver in a lamborgini to deliver it for less. "

Horrible

"Ohh lawrd, this shipping company ****... They have lost packages, routed them to an incorrect state, have been late, delayed, you name it.. Every time I buy something online I’m crossing my fingers they don’t use UPS as a carrier."

Broke my TV

"I shipped a 65” SUHD quantum dot Samsung TV, I even purchase additional insurance of $100
It arrive to my parents house broken, it’s more than 85lbs means it needs a 2 person lift, but got deliver by 1 person and he even brought it down hard cause it’s heavy
After opening the box the tv was broken LCD is all mashed. I called to complain
Took 3 weeks to receive a call saying they will not reimburse me cause it’s my fault for not reinforcing enough with the package (despite my TV had its original box, styrofoam, bubble wrap and paper, box was wrap with packaging tape)!. WTF! Won’t even refund me for the insurance.
UPS is BS... I am so upset and disappointed with ups service! My $3k+ TV was down the drain by their incompetent service .

UPS lost my package and won't do **** about it

"Horrendous service with horrible customer support.

I dropped my package in a UPS dropbox in Austin, the package had very valuable, time-sensitive lab-test materials that took 2 days to prepare. I kept tracking it everyday, no updates on the system. I called UPS and after staying on hold forever, I was told that I should file a claim if the package is still not showing up after 10 days.
10 days later, I called and it was a freaking waste of around 2hrs over the phone. One person connected me to another 4 or 5 times, each separated by a lovely 20-25mins of hold time. At the end, I'm told that I cannot file an investigation or a claim because the "return label was created over 60 days ago" and they cannot confirm that I dropped the package. Total bull and circular arguments, of course they can't confirm that I dropped it.. that's why it's lost. And why does it matter when the return label was created.

Not only can't they secure their drop boxes, they also can't provide basic customer support for lost packages.

DO NOT EVER use their drop boxes, unless you want to donate your package. And it's not only me, read the google reviews for any UPS dropbox, so many clients lost their packages there.
NEVER going to use UPS again after that disappointing experience.

Shipping

"Was suppose to have a package delivered on June 3rd. Nothing. Then was told it would be here June 4th before 9pm. Still nothing. Finally on June 5th it arrives. Funny thing is that the package sat at depot for 2 days. I’ve sent 2 emails asking why it sat there for 2 days and no one has called me back. "

dont ever use UPS

"these idiots delivered my package to the wrong address I have been fighting with them for almost two weeks had the nerve to tell me to ck my bushes and ck my back door mind you Iam on the second floor. Now I finally got them to start a claim for me they was smart enough not to email the claim number or the shipping account number now they are refussing to give it so I can finish my claim If UPS would hire in the USA maybe they wouldnt have this problem with customer services and stop over working your drivers so they will deliver to the correct address."

Continuously says Will Try Following Business Day but doesn't get delivered...until many days later

"I ordered a package that is pretty important and it kept telling me that it would be delivered a certain day. But that didnt happen. In this time, I understand that things happen but it kept saying that it would be delivered the following day. It did, just nearly a week and a half after it should have been. "

Late everytime

"UPS Delivery is always late and you can't blame the drivers it's the companies fault. Pandemic or not UPS ****. Amazon gets my order right every time. Unfortunately the companies I order from gives me no choice for the most part. Then they have that (we will have it to you by 9pm thing) after they are already late. Really!!"

Very poor service

"I've written on many review sites explaining how bad the customer service, and delivery is with UPS, I've had numerous problems with UPS, they've been late on delivery, made up wild excuses about why it's delayed, and the customer service is non-existent, I've tried to complain several times, they have it rigged up so you can't get through to complain, if you email the complaints dept, what comes back after you send the email is, this email isn't monitered, and it's not been accepted, you can't get through to a live person to complain to because you have to go through the robo voice which keeps sending you back to the beginning of the recording, if you say you want customer service, it justs keeps asking what you want to do, track a package etc. it's all set up on purpose to make sure you can't file a complaint against them, I've tried everything I know, read all the ways your supposed to be able to file a complaint, there's a number for the corporate office, but you can't get through, there's the false email, I've had several orders in the past 2 weeks that were delayed, and the reasons are extremely stupid, bad weather, I live in Las Vegas NV, the weather now is very hot, they can't blame it on the weather here, but they did, orders have been put on the wrong truck, missed the truck, and I know it's the driver who either didn't want to deliver it, or didn't find the time, there's one excuse after another, I'm extremely frustrated, and angry that I have shipments being delivered by UPS, I order items online frequently, I absolutely cringe when I see it's going to be delivered by UPS, and it's not due to the coronavirus, I had numerous problems with them before the coronavirus, they're just a terrible shipping company, I don't know how they stay in business."

The worst

"I wish I could give UPS zero or negative stars. On Monday, May 4th I ordered a package with 2nd day air in order to receive my wife's first Mother's Day present well in advance of Sunday, May 10th....well, I just received an update (which once again got pushed back from the estimated delivery day posted a day ago) saying the package will now be delivered on Monday, May 11th by 9:00pm. So if the package actually gets delivered on Monday (now a day after Mother's Day), all in all the 2nd day air will have taken a week.

When I tried to reach an actual human representative, I receive an automated message saying that I'm not able to speak to anyone - and then the call ends.

UPS is absolutely the worst. This company has single-handily ruined my wife's first Mother's Day.

Most Unreliable Parcel Delivery Service

"UPS has very poor customer service. Ordered an online item from the USA. Get a tracking notice my package is on its way. Then the next day, tracking says I have to pay import fees. Pay the fees. Then Tracking says package should arrive in two days. Two days later, tracking says I don’t have a broker. Call several times between the only times I can call (5pm - 7pm) because that is the only time UPS says it takes calls. On hold for 35 minutes the first time, 40 minutes the second time and I hung up after 90 minutes on hold the third time. The first time I reached an agent, the agent says my package is ready to be picked up. Then I say I thought you were going to deliver it to my home. Then the agent says my package will arrive in two more days. Two days later, tracking says I need a broker. Anyway. You get the picture. Still don’t have my package. Called several local UPS outlets and they say they are only printing retailers and really don’t have anything to do with UPS. ... I have asked the online retailer in the USA not to send anything to me via UPS and to use regular mail. UPS is absolutely the worst business I have ever used both in what is does as a business and in customer service. Totally unreliable. DON’T EVER USE THIS SERVICE to ship anything."

AVOID UPS

"UPS destroyed 8 of my 16 light fixtures and refused to do anything to help me. They told me it was my problem and they were not doing anything more to help. The retailer stepped up and made right everything that UPS destroyed. Customer service is a joke at best, they refused to have a manger contact me, said it was against company policy and said it would take to long to speak to a supervisor. AVOID UPS if you have options!"
