Worst experience

"Worst experience I have ever had while online shopping. I tried to place an order 6 times over a week and they all got cancelled without an explanation as to why. I even called in 4 times and it wasn’t explained to me until the final time. I’m from Canada and this is an American company, and in Canada we would never treat someone with such disrespect and put them through such an experience."

Online ordering is a big joke

"I use to have little to no problems ordering stuff online from Torrid. I don't know what exactly changed, but the last couple of times I've tried to order anything it's been a complete hassle. Most recently I tried to order a shirt that was an online exclusive. Used my bank card but it wouldn't let me process the order for whatever reason. So my fiance let me use his card to order it last night, seemed like it went through fine. Woke up this morning to check the order status and its nowhere to be found. I am beyond livid at this point, because this isnt the first time they cancelled my order with no explanation. This breaks my heart because I loved this store. Hell I use to work at a torrid store when they first came out and it never use to be like this. I hate to say it, but I will probably never buy anything from torrid ever again."

"Ordered merchandise on sale before Christmas. Received incorrect tracking number. After two weeks with no order and no corrected tracking number, instead of offering to re-send the merchandise we ordered (which was still in stock on their website), offered a refund instead. Over a week later and still no refund. Will have to go through our credit card to get our money back. In store service and products are fine, but I couldn't recommend that anyone shop online with them."

No help whatsoever

"I ordered a pair of tights and leggings 11/26/18 with free shipping -they finally arrived 12/28/18 at the post office with postage owed of an additional 7.72$which I paid -I called the usps in Washington DC and they said I needed to get the refund from torrid -I called 6 times and wrote an email showing the receipt -after being hung up on -promised to call me back and not then showing my receipt they now say they won’t return my money that it is s postal charge-i called the BBB and they said it was illegal for them to keep my money -there was absolutely no help customer service was totally incompetent-i shop at multiple merchants and I’ve never been treated so poorly "

Great products, terrible service

"I have ordered 3 items from Torrid.

One item did not make it to me at all, and while that is not their fault-it took me over 6+ contacts to Customer Service for ONE refund for the item I did not receive.

Also be warned; they love to hook customers with items on ‘sale’ or ‘clearance’ to lure you into buying thinking you are getting a deal. These items are not eligible for return or exchange so if you’re an online shopper like me you’re out of luck with no recourse.

The worst part of this is, they have a great selection of products and I have never had to worry about quality. However because of their lack of support, I will no longer purchase from them again Nor would I recommend their company to friends or family.

Terrible Customer Service for defective jeans!

"Really disappointed with my recent purchase. I bought a pair of defective pants at a Torrid location that is over 2 hours from my home. Wore them a few times until I noticed that the button was not put in correctly and would not keep my pants buttoned. I called 3 times and the girls I spoke with "left a note with their supervisor" and I would get an email within 48 hours. I also sent a few emails on your "Contact Us" page. All I wanted was a prepaid return label. Still nothing....

I called one last time and I was told that I had to bring them in to a store (it was an hour drive). Once I drove an hour to get to the nearest store I was asked why I didn't call and ask for a prepaid label. I was also told that I had to pay $6 on top of the gas I spent, to have a new pair of jeans mailed to me because they did not have them in store.

Terrible experience

"I had made and online order to buy something for my girlfriend who lives in Canada for Christmas while I am in the United States and because the billing address and shipping address were so far apart (which you would thinking ordering things this close to Christmas would not be a weird thing) I got an E-Mail from them saying I had to call Customer Service and verify my information before they were ship the order and if I did not do this within 3 days they would cancel the order, so I called them and the lady I talked to was nice and got everything handled and she said she was gonna send it to her manager and the order would shipped out, so after 2 days of it not being sent out I get another e-mail saying the order was canceled not explaining why, so I sent an e-mail to Custom Service ask to have them help me figure out what happened and after 2 days didn't get a reply so I called them, and the lady I got had such an attitude that when I was trying to explain to her that I had already done all of this and even sent them an e-mail and didn't get an reply she was getting rude to me. So I told her to just cancel the order and I wont be buying from them again. And so because Torrid.com now I wont have the money because it is on hold until the 20th of December and will not be able to get a gift for my girlfriend for Christmas. Thanks Torrid.com"

Wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered

"I ordered a shapewear online a week ago and it is still showing processing. I leave on vacation in 5 days so I will probably not get this before vacation. I called to find out why it was still processing almost a week later. Look at answer really. I asked if they make them as they're being ordered because it makes no sense to be sitting on a shelf and nobody packing it and sending it out. I have ordered personalized gifts that same day and have already received them in the mail. they said once it was packaged it would be 4 to 10 business days before I would get it. I asked cancel the order they said it had to be cancelled 15 minutes after it was placed. Terrible customer service will never buy again. I really needed this for my vacation now I have short period of time to find something else.

They STOLED my shirt!!

"Ordered clothes online only to get the wrong shirt! Called them and was told they were refunding the money to my credit card & to keep the shirt. When I didn't get the money took the shirt to the Park City Lancaster Mall to show them I received the wrong shirt. They called the headquarters & was told I was refunded the money. I had the shirt on the counter the rude woman grabbed it and would not give it back. Law says you get sent something in the mail you did not order you do NOT need to return it. I called up the online number when I got home and they said that lady should NOT have taken my shirt. In the end they refunded the money but not to the card I bought the shirt with it was another card they had on file. That's not the end of my horrible stories with Torrid only one. One too many!!! "

"Sydney ROCKED. She was so attentive to my needs and wants ! She stopped at nothing to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchases. I told her my vision and she definitely brought it to life ! Now I'm definitely going to be the talk of the night with my outfit on this yacht party ! Thanks Sydney !!!!"

Do not order online

"I too have spent thousands of dollars a month at Torrid. I have three shipments coming that total around $600. I was trying to take advantage of the Cyber Monday deal. For the second time in a row I was able to order an item only to have them remove it from order because they didn't have it. How bad of a business do you have to be to not know your inventory? Needless to say I am returning everything I have ordered the last 60 days, which is a loooooot. I complained via torrid twice, asked to be provided the sale discount for another item to replace it. Was told no the first time and no response at all the last time. Good luck with your business, you have just lost another very valuable customer. I have never had this happen with anything I have ordered at Lane Bryant, Amazon, Womans World and Romans. Guess they will be getting all my money from now on."

duked on saving Lost a paying customer.

"last few months I've spent over 1000.00 in the Puyallup wa store went in yesterday and purchased 333.00 worth was told that if I got the credit card could save 40% my income read 6,000.00 when it should if been 60,000.00 and therefore went under review. thus not saving the 40% I purchased the clothing for a special occasion for my daughter. I will not do business with Torrid ever again. I feel like 130.00 in savings was stolen from me. when contacting the store and customer service and the bank all I got was sorry and they passed the buck. I work for a successful Airline and i have the ability to do right by our passengers perhaps that's why the co. i work for is successful we strive to do right and my experience with Torrid wasn't anything close to doing right by their customer. they've lost my business over 130.00 in savings that I should of recieved. I am very dissatisfied and will not ever spend my money at Torrid. "

WORST PLACE EVERRR

"I ordered from here on monday and paid an extra 29$ for overnight shipping so my aunt would have something nice to wear on Thanksgiving and it is now Wednesday and It says it wont arrive until Friday everyday it tells me a new day! "

Worst company I have ever had to deal with

"They sent me damaged items. Because I paid with paypal I had to return via mail which should be no problem they said they would email me label. It took 4 attempts to finally get a label from them. I sent in and it has been 3 months they still have not returned my money. I spoke again to customer service rep today who said I was being rude because I didn't want a $10 coupon, then she got loud and said she was hanging up on me. I have every conversation with them recorded it is very clear I never raised my voice or got rude. I am at a complete loss as to how this company is still in business. "

If I could it would be no star

"I ordered one item 5 weeks before Halloween and it arrived one week after . I refused to picked it up and wanted to be refunded. They holding my 41.17 now hostage for 7 weeks. No help, have to get my bank involved. Do NOT order by them. Don't understand how they are still in business. I even canceled at first the order ( 1 day after Halloween) they completely ignored my email."
