"DO NOT SHOP THEIR ONLINE STORE! They have a ridiculous credit card process that delays or cancels orders with no notice! They stop all orders past a certain dollar limit and wait for you to notice and follow up. They will tell you that they sent an email when they didn't. They will tell you that the address or security code didn't match which is a lie! Then they give you the run-around making calls to your credit card company even though all of the normal security processes were met. Then they will tell you they have released your order, when they don't! They lie, they lie, they lie. STAY AWAY!!"
"I tried to buy in store first but couldn't find any bras that fit so I had to order online. I've never ordered bras online before but I couldn't seem to find them in my size anywhere else and they were 40-50 % off each so I figured, why not splurge and buy one or two? The bras came in a few days later than I thought they would, and I got a surprise when I opened them up. One of the bras was perfect and fit nicely. The other bra was a bit too tight (I made sure I bought the same size for both), and the color was off. The pictured bra is a vibrant light/sky blue, and the bra I recieved was greenish teal and extremely faded looking. I don't think it would be worth it to return them since they fit somewhat well, but I was disappointed at the quality, especially for the high prices."
"Their return process is archaic. I usually don't purchase on line and this was my first time. But I decided to make a purchase on line with Torrid because they were very persistant about the ease of exchanging or returning to the store. First, They never informed me when my order was received in the store (they are supposed to send an email). I had some situations arise in my life and i forgot I placed an order. Then they call me the day before the order was scheduled to be returned to the warehouse because I have not picked it up. Then I get there and tried on the items, I didn't like 2 of them and wanted to exchange and couldn't find anything I wanted. So I asked for the return. They started to process the return but because i paid with paypal they could not do the return there. I had to mail it back to their facility. I sent it back to facility on 6/8/19, have talked to them twice on the phone and I still do not have my return. Today (7/11/19) I was told it would be another 3 -4 weeks. It'll be 2 months before I get my return to my paypal account. They do not advertise that paypal does not apply to returning to the store. I am a platinum rewards member and will never shop there again. "

"I ordered a bathing suit top yesterday. I'm going on vacation next Friday. I had mistakenly chose standard shipping. I called customer service to upgrade my shipping and they weren't willing to help at all. Claimed they can only help within 15 minutes of purchasing which is b.s. My order was still processing and they claimed there was nothing the can do. They told me to reorder with overnight shipping which I don't have the funds to do since they won't cancel the order. I won't get the top by Friday so my vacation is ruined. It's bad enough that all their clothing is overpriced but then they won't even help when you make a purchase. "I've ordered online from Torrid once before, and it was processed in a timely manner and I received my item pretty quickly. Decided to recently order again, and it states that their processing time is 1-2 business days, but it's the 3rd day, and my order is still processing. Because of this, the payment hasn't been taken from my account yet, and now i'm constantly calculating how much money I have so that I can make sure there's enough in there when they FINALLY decide to ship my item. This is really an inconvenience for so many reasons. Never ordering from them again and I probably will never shop here anymore period, their clothes are way overpriced. "
"I’ve shopped with Torrid for some time now. However, I’m very disappointed with the service lately. The orders take a very long time to come and if it’s shipped to store I’ve experience the issue where I’m not notified. The last two pairs of jeans I have purchased have been of poor quality. I’m also disappointed with the fact that they will not allow the customers to combine the haute cash with deals. The return policy is not the easiest either. "
"I had the same problem with a bra before and it was exchanged without a problem. I called trying to explain the problem and was told I would have to pay for another bra and IF it was go nd to be unsatisfactory they would exchange it,if not I would be charged for a new one. Really?! As expensive as they are,they should back their product. I received an email asking to rate the bra I ordered so I did. "I only gave it 2 because I truly like the clothes. I placed an order for 4 black dresses for my mother’s funeral/services and paid for next day delivery (it was a Sunday so I expected to receive it Tuesday). I paid with my torrid credit card, which had plenty of money available. Monday I got and emAil saying to call them. When I did they said they needed my verified action on the order and that it would take 2-3 days to arrive (even with my next day shipping). I stated it was for my mother’s funeral and was told that they couldn’t do anything. I will never shop here again."
