"I should have researched them first. I also received poor quality product - either expired or refilled. The HP ink colors were off in both (double pack) immediately. Of course, I didn't need to use the ink cartridges until after 30 days shipment. No returns after 30 days."

"I read that other Tonermax customers had had bad experience with shipping delays and expired inkjet inks. So when I made my order I included an email saying that my order was placed on the condition that the inks arrive within 10 days and that the cartridges have a least 1 year left before expiration. I asked Tonermax to cancel the order if they could not meet my specifications. After 4 days and 3 email exchanges with TonerMax, each time reiterating my specifications, they finally canceled my order rather than promise anything about expiration date."

"I have twice ordered from tonermax.com and both times I have been frustrated by their EXTREMELY SLOW shipping.
They have no way to contact them, and they ignored my 2nd day shipping after not-shipping for two days.

AVOID THEM unless you want to wait weeks to receive your order!

"Bought 4 printheads & 2 ink cartridges of an HP CP1700. The ink cartridges were fine. Both of the ink cartridges were expired and the printer would not accept them. (one expired in 2007, the other in 2009). The online contact form at TonerMAX returns as undeliverable email. There is no phone number and no other way to contact these people. It's a $60 lesson I won't soon forget."

"I purchased 2 HP Ink cartridges from this rip off company. To my surprise they were shipped without the original boxes. I guess they were trying to be slick shipping expired inks. I am now in the process of going to the attorney general here in NY and PA where they have 2 pseudo addresses. Also those of you that read this I find it interesting that this pseudo company even have copied the BBB (Better Business Bureau) on their web page. They have been contacted (BBB) as for this pseudo operation. They are far from being a reputable company. Using the BBB is totally ridiculous. Fortunately, I haven’t spent that much money here but, those of you reading this should complain to the proper authorities if you haven’t done so already. These slim balls should be put out of business! If you complain to your bank they will remove their access to receive credit card payments from their web site for future purchases made by unfortunate other buyers unknowing of these slim balls operation."

"We ordered, and paid for, $148.50 worth of toner for our copier. The order never arrived and ALL attempts to contact TonerMax have proven hopeless. The phone and fax are no longer in service. Emails to support and web feedback page returned as undeliverable, or ignored.

CNET has a problem. TonerMax will badly hurt its reputation. This is unlike any major company I have ever dealt with. Customer service is not just bad, it is non-existant!!

"Very slow to work with. They were back ordered despite what the website said, took over a week to acknowledge order or anything else. Had to return and charged a restock fee without saying so on website. Finally resolved return credit after 2 months. If you need in a hurry or to return beware."

"I ordered a CANON 20-N01 TONER CART NEGATIVE BLACK 3K on 12/02/2009 and received on 12/05. I opened the outer box to install it in the printer but realized that it came in a generic box which is not the one shown in the picture on the website at the moment of ordering it. When I opened the box there was a dirty cartridge that looks used in a ripped opened plastic bag. The original box and instructions were missing but most important the cartridge was not in a sealed bag with an expiration date. To make long story short I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company because this people almost did not answer my emails which is the only contact method this company has. Save yourself a headache and buy somewhere else, the cheaper price does not worth the hassel. By the way, as of today they have not credited my CC."

"I think this company is a scam. They canceled my order claiming the item was not in stock, yet they still advertise it as in stock on the web site. Purchased via paypal and they claimed they would refund my money "immediately", yet a week and several emails later, including a support ticket which they closed without resolution, they still haven't refunded my money. Filing a paypal dispute now, so at least I know I will get my money back later.

"Update: 1/13/09. Refund was credited to my bank. I still do not like their billing methods. Cards should not be charged UNTIL the product is shipped.
Legitimate companies do not charge your credit card until the order is shipped. They charged my card then sent me an email saying my order was cancelled because they were out of stock. They said they would immediately refund my money. They still haven't. I looked at my tranaction in my bank. It has a phone number for ***-***-**** This number rings and rings then forwarded to a cell phone default voicemail. AVOID!!

"I placed my order on December 30th, 2009. Four business days later (excluding New Year's Day) I inquired about the status of my order. I received a "canned" response on their website about their normal shipping times of 2 - 5 business days. So I waited until the close of the fifth business day and inquired again. Nothing. Since their only listed form of contact is via their website, I had to dig around for additional information. After calling 6 different salespersons listed on their parent company's website (Impro Group) I finally reached one who gave me an email address for Luis - no phone number available. I emailed him and again - nothing. I posted again on their website with customer care - nothing. I finally emailed Luis,their support address and posted to customer care on their website requesting a cancellation and refund of my order - big surprise, no response again.

Stay away! I guess that's what I get for deviating from my old standby, Databazzar...

UPDATE: Finally received my refund on January 15th, 2010.

"Placed an order for ink and my credit card was charged. Order never came and when I emailed to why, I was told they were out of stock and I could get a refund. "I ordered some photo paper as they showed a very good price and I received an order confirmation explaining they get the product from other suppliers but generally ship in 1-5 days. I noticed they charged my credit card immediately and after 7 days I hadn't heard a word about my order. It's now 10 days and still no word, just empty promises so I'm canceling the order and looking elsewhere. It seems they are just a go between and they just post tons of products on their site but never have any idea if they can supply them to their customers- WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!"
