"BEWARE ! AVOID THIS SELLER WWW.TECHSAVINGS.COM ... also trading as WWW.EMSCOMPUTING.COM ... ordered primarily for lower price as listed in a search ... BIG MISTAKE ! Listing showed and still shows plenty of the Linksys Hub that I ordered however no hub. They didn't answer emails until I sent one listing their companies data with the relationship between the two companies. Promised delivery again just a delaying tactic. Finally they cancelled the order, promised a credit with in "5 to 7 business days" ... came and went. Another email and answer of "ASAP" that was a week ago and no action on their part yet, so am following through with letting others know about both companies and filling out the Federal Internet Fraud forms."

"Same old story. Ordered item after receiving an email from techsavings.com to say the Item was in stock, received immediate invoice. A week later, the order is still 'Processing'. Sent email to their support address and received a message undeliverable error because the user mailbox size limit had been exceeded. Tried calling, but spent two 30 minute sessions listening to 'Your call is very important to us...' messages before giving up. Sent email to sales, and received no response. Just sent email to info, awaiting response. Demanded that my order be shipped, and I receive a tracking number by Fri Mar 7, 2003, oterwise I am contacting my credit card company and Florida FTC, and States Attorneys office."

"i ordered a BEFSR41 router from them on the 26th with my credit card. i got a confirmation e-mail and then nothing. no update on the status of my order, and they are not responding to e-mails.

this doesn't look good. i'll give them a week before pursuing further action.

if you're considering buying from them, the headache is not worth it, just pay the extra $1 and sales tax and get this router from your local CompUSA.

"10 days after the order - and nothing! (The card was charged the same day, be sure) Sent 2 E-Mails and finally got an answer that I'll get my Antec case ... yesterday. Will wait a week more and take a lawyer. I need compensation - 2 days guaranteed delivery needs to be proven.

"They had the cheapest price by far on an Antec case I wanted, saw the ratings/comments on this site so I planned ahead and ordered 1 month b4 my other parts for new pc would arrive. Case arrived in 2 weeks, love it. Moral of story? If you want to save afew extra bucks, plan ahead if you need a product from these sites that take longer to ship."

"I placed an order on 2/25/03 for an item that was purported to be in stock and ready for immediate shipment, and having provided Tech$avings with my e-mail address I was to receive a UPS tracking # within a day or two. A week passed with no tracking # or any other communication so I called and was told by the sales rep that "they were changing over the billing system" so some orders had been delayed. The rep explained that she would expedite my request immediately and bring it to her supervisor's attention, and that I would receive a tracking # within a day or two. By 2/7/03 I still hadn't received either my order or a tracking # (nor any other communication) so I called and cancelled my order, and at that time it was explained to me that the order hadn't been shipped so credit card hadn't be billed whatsoever. Today I received my credit card statement showing that Tech$avings billed me for the full amount of the order on 1/25/03, the day I placed it. I called Tech$avings immediately to discuss this issue and was told that the charges would be reversed, but it couldn't be done today because there was "no one around from accounting to take care of it" and that it would be taken care of in a day or two, and I'd be sent an e mail verifying this. I am skeptical but will wait a few days to see if any of this is forthcoming, but I'm not holding my breath. Stay tuned, and Caveat Emptor regarding Tech$avings!"

"VERY UNPLEASED.

Order has still not shipped. Was sent an e-mail on the 21st that my order had shipped, and I would be receiving a tracking number w/in 24 business hours. It is now the 26th, and I still have not recived a tracking number. Every time I call, they act like they don't know what the problem could be, and keep saying it should have.... blah blah blah.

I'LL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

"I oedered a wireless router and 2 wireless nic cards on feb 8th 2003. 3 days went by, and I didnt receive an order confermation # by email, but my credit card was billed almost imidiately. feb 10th
I called them, they said they have had higher than usual orders, and the warehouse department was bqack logged. I complained that they shouldnt bill my credit card untill the items are shipped. they apologized, and raised the priority level of my order and it will ship in a couple days.
Feb 12th
Called them up to get a tracking #. They said hasn’t shipped yet because of the holidays, should ship by Friday feb 13th

Feb 13th
I sent them an email to get a tracking number and complain about the slow service again, got a reply back the next day, saying the same thing they told me on Feb 10th

Feb 19th
Called them up, talked to keith. His supervisor changed the order priority from normal to high, should ship feb 21 2002, at that time they will email me a shipping tracking #. I told him I had called once last week, and now I complaining of the slow service.
Im writing this report on Feb 21st, still have no tracking #

"Ordered an LCD monitor online via Pricewatch.com.
after 9 days of not getting item, i went online to check its progress. The monitor had not yet been shipped, there was no explanation as to why not. I cancelled the order that day, Jan 29th.
Got email confirming my cancellation and said i would receive credit in 5-7 business days. I had not gotten the credit after two weeks. I called them on Feb 19th, and they said they will credit me in the next 72 hours...yeah, right.
These people are crooks of the worse kind. Never, ever, ever buy anything here.
I only wish i had known of Rellerratings.com earlier, i wouldn't be grieving so much.

"Wish I had found ResellerRatings before making an order. Had the same experience as all their customers - immediate credit card charge and then nothing for 11 days. Not even a note to explain the delay, but of course the web site promissed 6000 in stock and 1-2 days to ship.

I've canceled the order, sent my request to another company and received the product 2 days later, while Techsavings can't even seem to issued the credit in that time.

"I placed an order for an Antec case (300+ in stock - usually ships in 1-2 business days!!) on 1/25, my credit card was charged immediately but my order was in "processing stage" for 15 days... I tried to find out information regarding my order; they finally sent back the following e-mail:

Dear Customer,

We apologize for the delay in shipping your order. We are currently running
with a delay of about 10 days. This delay is brought about because we must
use the money from the orders that we charged today to ship orders from ten
days ago. In a few days, we will be charging orders in order to ship yours.
I hope this has not caused to much of an inconvenience. If you have any
other questions, please feel free to contact our office at your convenience.

After removing all the expletives I was able to compose a reasonably forceful e-mail signalling my intent to file complaints with the FTC and the BBB. Thankfully, the issue was resolved and today I finally received my tracking number (16 days later) -- the case should arrive by Feb 17 (almost 25 days later.)

Still, I feel strongly enough to voice my complaints with the above consumer protection agencies. If anyone else feels inclined you can voice your complaints on the following web sites:

really bad customer relations and shipping, but..
I did recieve the product packaged very well and all items in excellent condition.

"The first experience with Tech-Savings wasn't so bad but the last and it will be my last was so bad it almost turned me against on-line buying! First they drop their phone service and I only got one response then it was in the form of a lame e-mail. When they did get the phone lines up again on 02-03-03 they said they hold all orders for 10 days before shipping? I can understand if it was a personal check waiting to clear but not a United States Postal Service money order!
I just received the printer today, one month after the on-line order was placed and 28 days after the money order was sent. I hope it continues to work fine because I don't even want to think about a RMA!
This is the first review I have ever written but I am compelled to do this for other people that are trying to save a dime like I was. I have two words to sum up purchasing from Tech-Savings "STEER CLEAR!"
