"scammers. they took my money and never told me they didn't have the product. three weeks later i was promised a refund "by weeks end". another month passed...no refund. had to have my cc company do it. i will NEVER use these folks again and suggest that you don't. i mean look at their rating. one of the worst i've seen."

"Delivery of merchandise was not executed in a timely manner. I purchased several PDA accessories of which they showed the items to be well stocked. It took over one month for TechSavings.com to complete the order. I was very disappointed. Also, I had to return one of the items for a refund, due to incompatability with the PDA I have. I returned the merchandise and received confirmation that they have received the merchandise on 2/27/03, to this date of 4/20/03, I have yet to receive a credit on my account. Overall, my experience with TechSavings.com has been disappointing. I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from them, specially if you are in a hurry to receive your merchandise. "

"I ordered a wireless network card from the company got charged twice for the card. Immediatly (within the hour) called to get a refund and it took 2 weeks and 3 phone calls to get the money refunded. They also kept delaying my order first of all they said there was a problem at the warehouse and it would be out the following monday so finally on the 5th call to the company they said it was out of stock so I'm waiting on another refund (probably for another 2 weeks)"

"DO NOT BUY FROM TECH SAVINGS!!!!!!!!!!!
First they took forever to send me my monitor cause my address wasn't on the Credit Card, even though it was. So after 5 calls I got it shipped. The day i got my monitor was the day I found out it was a bad monitor. I shipped it back after waiting forever for my RMA, in the mean time I needed a monitor so I bought another one. It has been nearly a month and im still waiting on it. I got the RMA monitor back but the second order was shipped to the wrong address, so they told me it wasn't there problem and to call FEDEX. Also on the second order they did the same thing with my credit card, even though I had established an account. None of the people knew what they were talking about that I called, and they would just transfer transfer transfer. I will never buy from them again, and I hope they go out of buisness if they do this to everyone. DO NOT BUY FROM TECH SAVINGS!!!!

"Worse company ever experienced. They operate in fraud like conditions. Charge now ship it later. Their 5-7 day we will credit your account is also full of crap when you cancel your order. Took them a month to credit my account, after i had to dispute it with the credit card company. Hopefully everyone reads these comments before even thinking of buying from this company.

"It has been over a month that I ordered my product (3/7/03) and I still have not received my order. I called techsavings twice: The first time they told me it is backorded; however, according to their policy they do not charge for the item until it is shipped...I was charged from when I placed the order. The second time , which was three weeks after my order, I called to complain about the delay and the fact that they were not following their own policy but there was no corrective action on their part and they just noted that I called and that they have charged me despite their policy. I then emailed their sales team. This is the response I got on 4/11/03:

Dear Customer,

We apologize for the delays regarding your order. We are currently
experiencing a high volume of orders and are shipping out items as quickly
as possible. Your item is in stock and ready to ship. Your order will be
shipped shortly and your tracking number will be sent to you automatically
via email.

Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience if you have any
further questions regarding this issue. Thank you for choosing

"DO NOT BUY FROM!!!!!! Horrible customer service, even worse shipping. If you want to be completley UNsatisfied with your purchase, these are the people to see. "I purchased a Lexmark X75 All-In-One Print Trio from TechSavings.com in December. The shipping time was good and the price was (at that time) unbeatable. After giving it as a Christmas gift, we found that it had a defect and had to be shipped back. It took a month to get confirmation from them as to where to send it to. Then, they were supposed to have emailed me a label for postage. After 2 emails, they got back to me saying "The label got lost in the shuffle, send it to this address". (How do you lose an email printable label?) Anyway, I ate the cost and sent it back. They received my printer on Feb 5th. They said it should take about 2 weeks to ship the new one. It's now April 12th and no printer. I have called and left messages, sent emails and have had no response. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and plan to write the Attorney General as well (as one of the previous complaintants stated).

DON'T EVER, EVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

"I knew better. I knew about this site. Why didnt I check first... Its been a week since I've placed my order for a linksys wireless CF nic and its still "processing." I called them yesterday and got a friendly guy after no wait who told me that I would be placed on a "priority" list and it would be shipped in 1-2 days. I say "Its already been 4 days, why do I have to wait another 1-2?" Good thing my credit card I purchased the item with has a good policy of disputing charges. We'll see what happens. I'll keep you updated with what happens with my order.

UPDATE!!!
I sent them an email on sunday giving them an ultimatum to ship out my monday (4/14) afternoon or else. They promptly cancelled my order without even trying to ship it out. What a bunch of losers. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Still havent received a credit to my account. I am in the process of disputing this charge with the credit card company. Worst. Business. Ever.

"NEVER EVER consider doing business with TechSavings anymore.
Never had so disappointing experience with online shopping.
After price research and availability check (BTW your site still saying you have 132 of those items as of today - 4/9/2003) I entered my order @ 4/5/2003 3:38PM. My credit card was IMMEDIATELY charged.
After 4 1/2 days (2 1/2 of them business days) @ 4/9/2003 11:30 AM the online status check still shows NO SHIPPED. During the phone call TechSavings CS representative (@ 4/9/2003 11:35 AM ) is telling me that THIS?!? warehouse is out of stock, but her computer is showing 13 in other and 3 in another warehouses, but she is NOT SURE?? if they are in stock. And in the same time the "REAL TIME" availability check is still showing 132 available?!?! Now, I can understand that. This is not CS representative fault. She was telling me whatever she was supposed to tell me. But on the top of that after I've canceled my order I have to wait 5-7 business days to get my money back to my account.... WHY?. Why did they charge my card in a first place before you are ready for shipping? To keep me from canceling my order?!?! Is that a regular practice?!?! I wish I've visited this site before I made my choice.

"They would not ship replacements for defective Belkin 802.11b access points until they received units back from me. They said they would ship replacements immediately if I placed another order and they would credit me for returned units when received.

Bottom line: I was never credited for the two defectives I returned. Ended up disputing charges with my credit card company. I'll never order from them again!

"I was billed on the same day i ordered, even though the company policy on the support page says it bills when the order is ready to ship.
A week later they tell me they are experiencing delays...but they sure didnt delay charging my card immediately.

Do not order from this company (aka emscomputing)

"I just ordered from this company on the 1st of April, 2003. I have not heard anything from them, no email, nothing. I go to the website and check my order and it still says processing. What should I do so that my money does not get stolen from me? I would rather take my money back and go buy the products elsewhere, than wait a month to receive my products. "I will not go into detail on the fraudulent activities of this company. You can read the reviews here for that.

I will give everyone information on how we can cease this company from continuing it's unethical and fraudulent activities.
1) Contact the Florida Attorney General, Charlie Crist, a very good man. Submit a Complaint to the General at http://www.doacs.state.fl.us/~cs/ccform.html
2) Contact the Chief of Police and Investigations in Ocala County at ***-***-**** and let them know that a company in Ocala is charging credit cards before providing a legitimate service.
(From the techsavings.com website: We accept Mastercard and Visa with no surcharge and your card is not billed until the product ships.)
3) File a complaint wit the Better Business Buruea
Current BBB status of Techsavings:
Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the
Bureau due to a pattern of complaints. Although the company resolves the
complaints, it has failed to correct the underlying reason for the
complaints. Complaints are concerning delay in delivery of ordered
merchandise after paying in full, consumers inability to reach anyone at the
company in order to discuss their complaint and delay in honoring their
promise of a refund. All complaints request cancellation of the order and a
refund of monies paid.
4) Call the Ocala County Clerk and get a copy of a "Statement of Claim" (a summons) and take these people to Small Claims court. Be sure to keep all documentation from your CC company when you card was charged.
5) Never use techsavings.com, emscomputing.com or lowestpricetech.com again. (all the same company). Post as many negative reviews as possible online. Notify Pricewatch.com to remove techsavings from their postings.
