"The worst internet experience I have ever had.
Their web site showed the printer I ordered was in stock,Sales person said item was in stock.I ordered, they told me it would be shipped out the following Monday.Then after Monday Item was no longer available and was back ordered.They tried to give me an inferior printer for same money.I cancelled my order and will never do buisness with them again.

"- Similar tale as everyone else before me. Ordered an Antec case (456 in stock) on 1/31 at 4:30am in the morning, my credit card was charged at 4:35am, it's now 2/10 and the order is still "processing".
- I have written several e-mails to their "Support" and "Sales" departments, all of which have gone unanswered. I will be calling them this morning to hopefully resolve this issue.
- What irks me the most is the fact that I was charged immediately after placing the order. No reputable company does this.
- I'll update on how this pans out.

Update: 2/10 10:30AM

Called at 10:05am PST 2/10 and spoke with Remi in customer service:

- He confirmed that my case was indeed in stock
- Apparently the order has not shipped because of a high "backlog" of orders
- He spoke with his "supervisor" and cleared the order for "high priority"
- The shipping request has been sent to their warehouse
- I should be expecting a UPS tracking number via e-mail by tomorrow, 2/11

i can understand that they hold checks until money clears, but my bank said that the check cleared on 1-29-03

just think twice before buying from TechSavings.com, took 10 days before they shipped

"I ordered this racing wheel on the 30th of Jan, 2003. I contacted them by phone on Feb 4, they said the item had not shipped yet. I contacted them again on Feb 7, same reply (item still has'nt shipped. Needless to say, I cancelled this order immediately. I will never buy anything else from this online retailer, and by the way, this was my first time dealing with this company."

"This place is terrible. I would never order from them again. I ordered a monitor and they kept giving me some B.S. dates on when they were expected to come in. I didn't get the monitor for 5 weeks and it was opened AND obviously returned because the box was shotty and the monitor had a black pixel on its left side. I was afraid to return it because I thought I would never see another monitor from them again."

"I recently tried to order a mouse through this site. I placed my order on Jan. 23 2003. After one week and no info, I went to see what the deal was. I tried calling but found out that due to "upgrading customer service" all their customer phone lines are down. So I send an e-mail to both their sales dept. and to their customer service dept. Promptly 2 days later I recieve a response explaining the upgrades they are going through and bla bla bla.
So, Feb. 4th rolls around and I go to their site only to find that my order still hasn't even been processed. So, I decide to cancel. I can't call them because of the "upgrades", so the closest thing I can find is an RMA form that I can fill out online. I fill out and for reason I put canceld order. In the descriptions section I politely explain that my order has just taken rediculously too long and I'm taking my money somewhere else. So I order the same mouse from Googlegear and it takes only a day to process. 2 days to ship and for a price that is only 5dollars more than what I was paying at tech savings.
Well guess what, the same day I tried to cancel the order, I go back to their website to check on the status of my canceled order, and in the field where it had simply said "processing" for over 2 weeks, it now says, "sent-to shipping warehouse". You gotta be freakin kidding me!

Ok, maybe they haven't shipped yet and it will still be canceled. No go. I look today and it has been shipped.....

Ok, needless to say, I should held off ordering from google until I was sure that techsavings had canceled, but come on this is rediculous.
I solemnly swear to never again purchase anything from this company and would appreciate anybody else who did the same.

"After 8 days my order has not been shipped, was suppose to ship in 1-2 days. They did manage to charge my credit card 8 days ago. When i called them to inquire about my order, I was on hold for 29 minutes. Of course they had many excuses. No matter what the price of an item, if a company can't deliver they are useless. I choose where to spend my money, it will not be at TechSavings.com again."

"I was satisfied with the way they contacted me, the way the packaging was done, BUT thier customer service is horrible, and thier shipping takes WAAAAAAAAY too long.

"Don't be fooled by the low prices and the professional looking web site! Unless you don't mind having your credit card charged BEFORE your order ships and then waiting 2 weeks for your items to arrive, I would STAY AWAY!! I ordered 3 items on 1/15. All were in stock according to their web site. They charged my credit card the very next day!! - 1/16 before anything shipped. My items didn't even ship until 1/22. On top of that, they were shipped from TN all the way to CA via UPS ground. I didn't receive the items until 1/29! One good thing though was that the packages were well packed and my items arrived undamaged. "

"I ordered a black monitor and it came as I ordered it and in good condition. The picture onthe box was of a white monitor so I called them and they offered to replace it right away if it wasnt the right one, but upon opening i saw they had shipped the correct item."

"These people are on my hitlist right now, I ordered speakers on Jan. 23rd, was immediately billed that day, they haven't shipped yet (Jan 31st). This is blatantly illegal!! Am I the only person who would like to put this company out of business?? I got an e-mail from them today explaining that they were "restructuring" which was causing their January shipments to be delayed. What a load of BS, what's their excuse for the last 5 months then? It amazing how there "advanced" billing system can take a credit card charge in about 5 seconds, but it takes them 3 days to reply to an e-mail. Does anyone have any idea what can be done to prosecute these people? Do I need to take it up with the Florida court system or what? This company is obviously breaking the law if they are taking money from people and not delivering on the items, and I have to proof to back it up, I just don't know where to start. If anyone has any advice please post it here ASAP. Even if I actaully receive the items I order, they still committed fraud and I am not going to let this go, countless people have had the same thing done to them and I'm sure it will keep happening. Thanks! "

"I ordered an Antec case on 1/19 because I found them on pricewatch.com. That was a Sunday evening. The next day, my bank account showed "EMS Computing" by the dollar amount that matched what I spent at techsavings. That wasn't too reassuring, so I decided to look them up through the BBB.

Apparently, they have been having issues since July, 2002. Not much has changed, I guess. I still haven't received my order.

This past Monday (1/27) I wrote an e-mail to ****@****. This is the reply:

and it looks like your order should be shipping out soon. We have been
behind in our shipments during the month of January due to restructuring of
our company. This has resulted in all shipments to be delayed and has caused

UPDATE: 1/30/03

I wrote to pricewatch.com this morning and voice my complaints through their system, hoping it will add to the strength of my cancellation. I let them know very nicely that if things hadn't been resolved by close of business today, they give me no recourse but to inform the FTC, the Florida state attorney general, and the BBB.

Just before posting this, I tried to log onto both TechSavings.com and EMScomputing.com. Both servers are down. Things are getting interesting...

I just logged back on, and received an order cancellation notice. Both the sites are operating again.

What a nightmare. The refund never posted, which was supposed to happen in 5-7 business days. I had enough, so today I filed complaints with:

"I ordered this product on a Sunday, things dont ship on Sundays. The next day was Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, a national holiday, things dont ship on holidays. OK. The next day Tuesday, no progress in order. OK. Wednesday still nothing, I email them, they said that they have alot of orders and it will ship shortly. OK. Thursday nothing, Friday, nothing. I email them again, they say that they're having shipping delays will ship shortly. I wait until Monday, still nothing, I email them again telling them if I dont see some sort of progress in my order by the end of the day I will contact Credit Card Company and all that sort of thing. Within 30 minutes I get an email stating my order has been cancelled by my request. This is a very sorry place to order from. Dont ever order from TechSavings.com. They sucker you in by saying they have free shipping. I wish I would have know about resellerratings.com before I ordered from that horrible company."
