"So far I have ordered from tcwo 3 times. I was looking for a reputable company (been burned before) to buy parts to build my friend a computer. I saw an advirtisement in Maximum PC and checked their reviews on this website. Everything sounded in order so I called a sales person. I had no wait to get through to sales, and the guy I talked to was really friendly AND knowledgable (imagine that!). After ordering I recieved my shipment confirmations, for some reason the shipped the case a day later than the other parts, and due to fed ex's ineptitude I got the the case a week after the parts. Everything arrived in working order, no problems, and my friends computer has been up and running for a couple months now. My most recent order was a motherboard which was ordered on friday and got here on monday, with ground shipping! I am seriously never going to buy from another company when it comes to parts. Good prices + friendly staff + fast shipping = My business.

"My last successful order (in May) from TCWO went as smoothly as the 10 or so before it had over the past 5 or so years. Everything shipped on time and Mr UPS had my stuff at my front door in 2 days (I only live 20 miles from them). Now however things look beyond grim. The initial hint of an issue occured when they closed for a hurricane warning just a day after I had placed an order, and when the hurricane missed Tampa (it barely rained more than a normal afternoon, and no real wind), TCWO did not reopen that Monday. The website indicated that there was some sort of theft, and they had to reasses the inventory.
That was all fine, except that when the website came back up a few days later it only stayed active for a few days, and then went black. The website is dark, the will call center looks like its almost completely emptie, and all of the voicemail boxes are full. I attempted to find a police report for the 'theft' and did not find one. It looks like TCWO has shipped its last processor.
If theres any good news its that I was never charged for the XPC I ordered on my CC. I am deeply sadened by the loss of what I had always considered the best damn computer ship in the USA.
