As a concert pianist, I wanted an instrument with great sound quality that I could easily transport when needed. The Roland FP30X digital piano checks both of those boxes.
What I'm pleasantly surprised with is how much this keyboard has piqued my creativity as far as my own compositions. The sound quality of the string bass voice in this keyboard is phenomenal and I've loved using it as a split voice with other instrument voices. The organ voices are similarly excellent quality as are, expectedly, the various piano voices.
It's heavy, but manageable with the Gator GK-88-SLXL Semi-Rigid Keyboard Case.
I'm glad I got the pedal bar (Roland KPD-70 Pedal Unit for FP-30). No more fighting with skipping/sliding pedals. It makes the whole experience similar to playing a stage grand.
Shipping fulfillment was a nightmare but understandable due to the supply chain disruptions. It's certainly was worth waiting for.
