"Five weeks of email exchanges and phone tag made one thing very clear about Sweetwater -- they are a company with the best of intentions, it would seem, but handing a script to someone does not make them a true sales consultant (key word: consultant). I was left feeling time and time again as though I was expected to buy whatever was suggested, not what I needed or wanted. Not that they asked. Not once did a salesman inquire about what style I played, what level of proficiency I played at, or what level of experience I had with recording gear as I tried to engage them in helping me design my home studio. Needless to say their cookie-cutter responses and errant suggestion have me shopping elsewhere. Five weeks wasted. Fool me once..."
