Great shipping program

"I have used Stamps.com for many years, and find it very easy to use. It saves me time from standing in line at the post office, and also saves me money (which I like the best). On the few occasions when I ran into a problem, a quick call to their Support line, and it was taken care of fast & with friendly reps.

Packages haven't arrived at international destination yet; it's been two months

"I used Stamps.com as a trial for shipping pins from my Kickstarter because of the advertisement for using a cheaper rate for merchandise than USPS alone. I shipped them in January. Many, if not most, of my international buyers have not yet received their pins and it is now the last day of March. This is unacceptable and their service is a lie. If I had known that my packages would float in the ether for months and potentially never make it to their destinations, I would never have used this service for the promise of a cheaper cost. I am extremely disappointed and I am eating the cost of my merchandise thanks to this joke of a shipping service. "

New Software ****

"Why? Oh why did Stamps forced us to upgrade to this sluggish, screen hogging software, slowing us down tremendously, I cannot use history anymore having to scroll ridiculously to get anywhere, sad, they could have just fixed the known bugs instead, but no, sames bugs in a deficient screen display of data, "

Too expensive

"The software didn't work when I deposited money into my account so I pushed the button again and was charged again, then after waiting..... pushed it another time and was charged again. Not my fault and I have to wait 3-4 weeks to get a refund. Meanwhile $150.00 is **** and won't be refunded to my bank account. I live on a fixed income and this has caused a financial crisis for me. I called you and you were no help in getting my refund sooner and where I wanted it to go."

Better than going to the post office

"For the most part, Stamps.com works well. I don't know why all of the priority boxes available at the post office are not available as a choice in the software!

The fee also seems high, since we have to pay for postage and blank stamps, labels, etc.

Superb service, Serious Savings !!!!

"Stamps.com is probably the ONLY service I use and do not mind PAYING for a subscription. I've used it for several years and the TIME I am saving having every shipping need at my fingertips, and the discounts provided on mail classes I use, has FAR exceeded the cost of my subscription.

I use the downloaded version and if I have a problem with anything it almost always turns out to be something I have done (or NOT done) myself. Their Customer Service has been 110% fabulous - incredibly patient and extremely helpful. A couple of times I have had to use their Remote help and it's been nothing but terrific - even help with my own machinery!

The only thing I have found confusing is using instructions on their website - sometimes it's hard to tell what is for download vs. online versions. But thanks to a really workable system I almost never need to try to figure out instructions !

Perfect for small business

"I can't believe how many reviews I read from individuals who seem to expect this service would be a free way for them to avoid the post office in a jam. This is a business service, people.

I've found it's easy and fun to use, and have had no problems. My only caveat is that I don't like the printing options for large size labels and shipping (for example priority mail envelopes) You are limited to the way you can print labels. While I do appreciate that the stamps.com labels are the same price as Avery labels, you must print two labels when inputting the delivery address: one for the address, the other for the stamp. This is okay for me personally, but I process mail for the whole company and I don't often need to print a label, they've given me the mail piece with the address already on it. So often I have to type in all that info to calculate postage, and then just do a basic stamp print with that amount. Also I noticed when using a standard Avery shipping label instead of a stamps.com numbered label, the postage goes up!

Overall, it's a good alternative to being forced into a lease on a machine, and the customer service is great. I am confident the software will improve with time. Also, I'd like to thank stamps.com for ceasing with those environmentally destructive unsolicited CDs they used to mail out.

Not worth it! Deceiving

"Shocking to hear about a setup fee that they "don't charge until" you want to quit, what a crock. Their savings were not that great, they want you to contact them by phone to confirm your identity after opening your new account, thy wait a few days then send you emails saying they need more information, but which in fact it was to try and up sale your account. When I called to close my account all they wanted to do was to keep trying to have me down grade, they tried four times to keep me paying. Unless you do a ton "literally" of shipping a month it's not worth paying the monthly fee. "
