It would work and the location of the sofa would not show the crack but when Amanda Wavell from customer service inquired about the order via email, I mentioned it in my reply. I actually did not expect anything to be done but she followed up and ordered my another one and kept on it until it arrived and I replaced it. I was extremely pleased at the exemplary customer service."

"I have to be honest, this has been one of the most frustrating processes I've been through. There were so many missed steps and errors on this purchase, that it has actually become a family joke. However, I'd be remiss if I didn't give credit to one of the reps working at SFD, Barbara Maldonado. If it weren't for her, I would have lost my mind. Barbara has been working with me (and my sister) since early November when we first found out our dining room set had been delivered to the wrong White Glove facility and we weren't going to get it in time for our Thanksgiving dinner with the family. From there, things got worse, but I'm not going into the ugly details. My only point is to give recognition for the support & assistance Barbara gave us (and continues to give us as we try to wrap things up) over the last 5 months. She's been professional & polite through every conversation. She did her best to keep us appraised of what was going on and there were many tough messages she had to relay to us, even though she was not the responsible party. I can't thank her enough for all of her help.

"Most awful and painful experience, because after three months of intermittent waiting I am unable to receive my sofa.
Most awful and painful experience. This because I paid in full in November and did not receive the sofa until late January, after filing a complaint with PayPal. Shortly thereafter, I was told I would receive the item and had to repay the money PayPal had refunded. Nevertheless, I did and received a broken down, sofa with crumbling leather arms. I refuse the sofa, and Fedex retrieved it and send it back. After contacting Shop factory direct on these occurrences, I was informed that I needed to repay and they would replace the damaged item quickly, and I did. This was January 21,22. It is now February 22, and again PayPal has refunded my funds of $2,468.10 because Factory Shop direct did not corresponded with them. The problem is that Factory Shop Direct refuses to transact with PayPal any longer because of its payment policy. It seems they have little patience, after they have had me waiting for 3 months to receive my sofa, which was damaged. So because of their depute with PayPal, I am unable to use my account. I have been waiting for my sofa (Barcelona ) since Nov. 2019, and they will not approve preferred method of payment who secures my funds. I feel as it I have been penalized for being so patient with these people. Even though, they originally promised the item was in stock. ~Respectfully, Betty J. Williams "

"Ordering furniture on line can be a frustrating experience, with delays and botched orders. While the delivery of my order was delayed, Shop Factory Direct kept me informed as to why and when I could expect delivery. I had paid for their "white glove" delivery, so that when the furniture arrived, the delivery people assembled the bookcases quickly. There were some issues with some missing brackets and with the ladder railing, and again, Shop Factory Direct arranged the shipment of brackets to me and called upon experts to correct the railing issue. Special thanks go to Amanda, who answered my email questions quickly and graciously. In these days of failing customer service, Shop Factory Direct is a breath of fresh air. I'd do business with them again with no hesitation."
