"Ordered refurbished tv; waited 12 days, no delivery, called Savinglots, they said the model I ordered was listed wrong, none were in stock. After 26 days, I had charges reversed. They didn't have the decency to call and tell me my order was on hold. Bottom line....horrible communication, epitome of customer no-service. Also, this was the only time I used my credit card with security code, and within two weeks my
card info was hijacked, goods charged, and I had to cancel it along with filing a fraud alert. Savinglots said their processing is secure, but I
can't prove it was them. Prices are good, but everything else stinks.

"Jeff and Mark took turns at what seems to me to be a scam where they sell, don't deliver, then don't refund. I cancelled sale when they "were out of stock" a week later with no tracking number sent and no followup email to me.

When the refund failed to appear a week later on July 17th, I called, filed an AG complaint, filed dispute with MC and sent them an email about my actions and voila! finally Refunded.

I will also file a BBB complaint and stay on their case as long as it takes to help people realize the cons of dealing with an unknown online vendor. Never again, and never with an ATM-Debit Master Card. Use the real thing when paying so you have more clout!

"Great price, decent customer service. They could definitely stand to have a better tracking system (so you know when your order has shipped and the shipping tracking number), but I did receive the information eventually. In today's ecommerce market, instant information is key -- and making the customer wait 4 days for a tracking number makes them nervous. All in all, though, I'd buy from them again. Product arrived in excellent sealed condition, more than $100 cheaper than 'the big guys'"

"These guys are running a shell game. They advertise cheap prices (was about 20$ cheaper than competitors on 225$ item), but they wanted 80$ (yes, EIGHTY DOLLARS) shipping when competitors ranged from 11$ to 20$. Interesting concept, beware of these guys.

Also, someone should explain to these people what "in stock" means. It appears that their saying on their website that they have something in stock means nothing.

"Savinglots.com did not deliver as promised. As instructed on the Savinglots.com website, prior to placing the order I phoned Savinglots.com to ensure the item was in stock and would be delivered before Christmas. I was assured by the Savinglots.com representative that this GF350 Turntable would be received before Christmas and based upon that assurance, I placed the online order. This GF350 was a present for my mother and the fact that this was not even shipped until 12/22/05 - 7 days after the order was placed on 12/15/05 - is unacceptable and contradictory to the verbal representations made by Savinglots.com. The package arrived on 12/27/05, 3 days after the assured delivery date. After repeated phone calls and emails, I finally was able to speak to someone who could "help" me. The only remedy Savinglots.com would provide was a refund of the $19.50 shipping. I ordered this same $300+ item for my father-in-law from Twister Group online and it arrived within days of placing the order. I wish I had used Twister for my mom's gift too."

"I was skeptical ordering a super slim digital camera that no one else in the market had their hands on but these guys came through - shipping the website said would be 3 days but it came in 5 days, but I wasnt in a big hurry - had no problems with the transaction itself - I'd called their customer support and they were very helpful, and emailed them as well and recieved a prompt response. Good experience."

"i have ordered car stereo and wires to install it. Well, i was charged very next day after order was placed, then, i was awaiting tracking number. Didnt get email, so i called them several times. Everytime their answer was "product was shipped yesterday, we are waiting for tracking #from warehouse.", finally i got tracking number, after a week, and few days later i got package from them. Containing wires only!!! after few more calls, I learned that "radio was shipped yesterday from different warehouse and we are trying to obtain tracking #". So, finally after one month and 17 phone calls they told me that product was discountinued and within few day i will get money they charged me minus price of wires (15$+17$shipping). NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Finally i got refung, and they charged less for shipping of those wires (7$)

"I have used 45 online resellers in the past 5-years and savinglots.com will always be on my DO NOT USE list. Their website is very inviting but beware of the customer service, or should I say, "lack of!" For the past 13-days, I've been told, through four seperate phone calls that the $181.00 item I ordered shipped, "yesterday." I was promised an e-mail containing the tracking number three times and never received any. My credit card was charged the day after I placed the order. All indications are that this place is nothing more than a scam. I cancelled my order 10 minutes ago and I really fear that I may never see the $181.00 credited back to my card. I'll update this review in a couple days to verify whether or not I received the credit. Two last issues are that "Customer Service" is only available after 10AM EST. and they showed me such rudeness and lack of respect. It was almost as if they felt they were doing me a favor by talking to me. Never again! Additional - I DID receive a full credit posted to my card two days after the cancellation of this order. That was the ONLY thing this merchant promised that they actually fulfilled. Still, never again."

"Great prices and products! I purchased an Audiobahn A18001DT, which is one of Audiobahn's top of the line mono amps for only $499.95 with a decent $19.50 shipping fee (for this heavy amp).

One of the good qualities of the site is that they are clear about warranties. They provide warranty service for Audiobahn products through their self for everything covered by the factory warranty. Anyone looking to buy an Audiobahn product online knows the hassle of finding online stores which offer warranty for these products. This is because unless you pay top dollars for Audiobahn products and purchase them from authorized dealers (that are not allowed to sell them for less than a certain price) you will not get warranty coverage directly from Audiobahn.

Another great part of the site is that they freely advertise a toll free number to call them with. I used this number several times to validate warranty information and check on order status and every time I reached a representative with NO wait! And the representatives I talked to were very knowledgeable and helpful. This alone gives the comfort a lot of times missing from many online stores.

The product I purchased was a special order item and it was very clearly marked as one. The site also clearly indicated that the item will take 5 to 10 days to deliver. I received the tracking number of the item when it was shipped and received the item within 9 business days of placing the order.

The order finally arrived very well packaged and contained the actual sealed product.

I had a very satisfying experience with SavingLots.com and would recommend them to anyone looking for great products and deals.

"They provided a great product at a fair price,
and shipping was very timely and low-cost.

The only complaint I have was that when my order
was completed, I got an email saying the tracking
number was to be forwarded from the warehouse, and
I'd get it ASAP. Well, I've now got my DVD player
and if I log in, it still says "order shipped,
awaiting tracking number". I emailed them,
(before my product arrived), and got a prompt
reply, basically stating the same thing. So,
I was a little suspicious, since a statement
like "oh yeah, we shipped, we just don't have a
tracking number" is usually a clear indication
that you're being scammed. A valid tracking
number is an excellent means to prove that
shipment actually happened.

As it turns out, I got my package only 6 days
after I ordered it, and that spanned a holiday
weekend (4th of July), so, I have no complaints.

If they straighten out their problems w/
communicating tracking numbers, I'd give them
a perfect score.

As it stands, I'd definitely buy from them again.
