"Take time over 2 weeks to ship from NY to CA. When I order stuff from India it only take one week. The product came in one piece, but due to the shipping I won't be ordering from them again unless I'm local. There are a few other reviews on other sites that state about shipping issue. I should of considered those reviews."

"Ordered Danby dehumidifier on 29 July 2011 after the store closed at 4PM eastern. I did receive an automated order confirmation upon completing the order. I received a UPS tracking number on 1 August 2011 (before noon) and received the dehumidifier on Wednesday, 3 August 2011.

The dehumidifier came overpacked in a cardboard box with cushioning material surrounding the manufacturer's packaging. I did not request any special services, and am very pleased with the transaction.

"I must admit, I was so nervous to order from them after reading the past comments. However, they were older posts and one very new, in June. That is the one that I went on and I am soooo glad I did! The fastest service ever! I ordered it on Saturday, mailed it on Monday and I got it Tuesday! They also had a good price. So after searching and investigating many online companies for 3 weeks, I went with SavingLots.com and NO regrets!! Maybe a year or so ago there were glitches, but they must have worked them out. Thanks so much for getting my Danby dehumidifier to me so fast, Now I just hope it does its job ( which would not be the stores fault) Only time will tell!!!!"

"AWESOME PURCHASE, AWESOME SERVICE! I PURCHASED A DANBY DEHUMIDIFIER FROM THIS COMPANY BEFORE READING THE REVIEWS. AFTER I PURCHASED IT, I READ SOME REVIEWS AND GOT NERVOUS BECAUSE OF WHAT I READ. HOWEVER I CALLED THE COMPANY RIGHT AFTER MY PURCHASE TO CONFIRM THEY RECEIVED MY ORDER AND ASKED THEM TO PUT THE UNIT INSIDE ANOTHER BOX FOR ME FOR SHIPPING SAFETY PURPOSES. THE MAN I SPOKE TO ASKED MY ORDER NUMBER AND TOLD ME HE WOULD SHIP IT OUT RIGHT AWAY! THAT WAS ON A WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, AND I RECEIVED THE UNIT EXTREMELY WELL PACKED WITH CUSHIONS INSERTED IN THE BOX ON MONDAY. I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A SMOOTHER TRANSACTION. "I ordered a pair of ear phones the Etymotic ER-4S, was waiting for my tracking number for days. Called the customer service. They said they would have tracking for me, to call back later. I called back next day, they put me on hold to find out what was going on... finally comes back and tells me the warehouse can't find my product. WTF? And he says he'll just refund me the amount. No apology, nothing. Had to wait a week, and now have to wait another week for my money to appear in my bank account because I paid through PayPal. Terrible company."

"Wow, where to start. This company has been absolutely awful to deal with. Ordered merchandise on 6/27. My credit card was charged for the merchandise on 6/28. We followed up numerous occasions and finally received merchandise on 7/15. Immediately opened box and tried to install. However, merchandise was damaged. Within 30 minutes of delivery on 7/15/2010, I contacted customer service to let them know the merchandise was damaged. Then began the headache of getting the merchandise returned. They wanted pictures of the box and we got the runaround about whether or not they would take the merchandise back. I finally disputed the charge on my credit card on 7/23. Savinglots.com finally contacted my on 7/25 to say the merchandise would be picked up between 11 am-3pm today (7/28). They never showed up because they "couldn't find our house" (we had to call them to find out why the never came). Interestingly enough, they didn't have any trouble finding our house when they had the merchandise to deliver. They are supposed to come back tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath."

"Everything negative written about this company is true! It is all false advertisement. I ordered a product they said they had 65 in stock. Well let me tell you they didn't even have one. They took my money told me that my order was processed and waiting for the tracking number from the warehouse, this went on for 48 hours until, I hounded them with emails and went online to the better business bureau to get the presidents email. He then stated it was shipped out also. Then he stated "ran out before we could fill your order. Should be more here on Monday." Yes he is saying they ran out of 65 items that I even called to ask they had. In the end after calling and emailing them over 20 times the order was never shipped and I finally received my money back. So I would tell anyone do not order from SavingLots.com, read all the reviews they are not lying."

"Still waiting on a some kind of email stating that they're shipping my order. I placed an order for two Yamaha NS-555 speakers on Sept 10th, they charged my account 2 days later. It's the 18th and I have yet to get an email or anything from them saying that there is a delay or if its shipping. Any kind of communication is better than none. Will update when I get more info."

" I purchased an item for $374 on 5/25/2008 expecting it to be shipped within a couple of days. (Their policy states "Most orders placed before 4pm EST Will ship that same day. If you order on Friday after 4pm EST, Saturday, or Sunday your order will ship out on Monday. Orders to the continental United States take on an average 3-5 days for delivery. If you live in NY, NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, CT, NJ, DE, MD, PA, OH, WV, VA, or OH your order will arrive in 1-2 days.") My order status read, "Order processed, awaiting tracking number from warehouse." It is now 6/2/2008, and I still don't have a tracking number. I called to see what was going on. I was told, "Your item was shipped last week, I don't know why you didn't receive a tracking number. I'll have it e-mailed to you within a half-hour." I waited a couple hours and called back and basically was told that I will eventually receive my tracking number.
I have faith that I will receive my order in perfect condition as promised, but I also have a feeling that their shipping policy is just a sales pitch. I've read quite a few reviews of people having issues with their orders being on back order which leads me to believe that they may say items are in stock when they really aren't. But they will eventually ship you the item when it is in stock.
As of now, the good thing about this store is the prices, and the bad thing is their shipping/tracking system.
I will update this review either when I receive the item/tracking#, or when I decide to take further action.
Update, 6/3/08. I finally received an email stating their vendor lied to them and my item was shipped today. I have a tracking number and am satisfied for now.
Update, 6/6/08. I received my product today and am very pleased. Their shipping process is a little slow, but the prices make up for it.

"Very pleased!!! I was scared at first when I read the ratings the others left after I had already ordered, but I had no problems. Product arrived as described and within the time stated.

I was really glad that they accepted paypal which is safer that just using you credit card. I feel good about my purchase.

"BUYER BEWARE!! THE WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! EVER!!! I place and order that the did not ship, I called multiple times and I was constantly told that it will ship the next day, and the next day, and so on. When I requested to cancel the order and get a credit, I was again told that it will happen the next day and so on for a week, until I contacted my credit card and they reversed the charges. Whenever you call you will get either Mark or Jeff, neither tells the truth, nor do they call you back like the say they will, nor have any customer service skills. Maybe when you place your order there is a tiny chance that you will get it, but most likely you're gonna be just like me, a hardworking individual who waited almost 4 weeks to either get an expensive item or a credit, neither of which they provided. COMPLETE SCAM!! BUY FROM SOMEONE REPUTABLE!! "

"Ordered LCD HDTV, company charged my CC and never shipped. I called and spoke with a person who said they would cancel and credit back my CC, didn't happen until I called 2 weeks later. Credit was finally issued. You'll see report after report of this same behavior on this site as well as BBB. This is a VERY SHADY operator. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER. I wish I had. Stock DOES NOT MEAN stock to these people. It simply means they'll have use of your money for a period of time until you tire of waiting on the product & cancel. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!"

"BUYER BEWARE!!!
Savinglots.com’s website looks professional and their prices are appealing. This is of no use if the product ordered is never received. I ordered a Pioneer AVIC-D3 Navigation system for my vehicle for the price of $814.45 on March 10th. My credit card was charged on March 12th. This was advertised as an in-stock item and would be shipped in 24 hours. After no change in the website status “Order processed, awaiting tracking number from warehouse” I finally requested a tracking number on March 14th. On March 16th still no tracking number so I made another request for a tracking number. I finally got an email response on March 19th stating that the item had been shipped and sometimes tracking numbers can take up to a week to obtain. On March 22nd I decided to give them a call. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes I got a live person. I gave him the order number and he put me on hold. After another 10 minutes on hold I was transferred to a voicemail box and instructed to leave my phone number and my call would be returned. Of course, the call still has not been returned. Two weeks and no product!! Savinglots.com’s customer service is non-existent!!! I finally have filed a dispute with my credit card company and am hoping for the best. I will update this post when and if the issue is resolved. I wish I had done more research before purchasing from Savinlots.com. I will never make the mistake again and hope this review will save someone else from making the same mistake.

"Very satisfied. Placed order over the phone with Jeff on 11/14/06 as I had some questions about the undercounter refridgerator and seperate freezer I wished to purchase. He answered all concerns, was quick to process order and followed up with email confirmation in a few minutes. I had a few other concerns I addressed via email and received very quick responses each time. My Summit fridge and freezer arrived early this morning 11/22/06 (well within the time frame promised) by frieght carrier and all was in excellant condition."
