"Complete hassle to work with this company. Ordered a product, noticed it didn't arrive after 2 weeks. Contacted them, then they tell me it's back-ordered. I expect to be told this at the start, not to have to figure this out myself. They are not reachable on the phone (at least, they have not been the few times I have tried, inside regular business hours). They take over 24 hours to respond to email. I have canceled my order due to shear frustration."

"Ordered several tools I need to make a living. No confirmation email, so I emailed them immediately to make sure everything was all set. 2 weeks went by -nothing. Email tag back and forth for another 2 weeks. I was informed that they had no info on my order & no idea when it would ship! WTF?? So I cancel & demand a refund. Took weeks to get a check, so in the meantime I filed a dispute with my Visa card company. The check finally came, I cashed it, it was good - so I called Visa to disregard the dispute. Now, here we are 2 months later and the charge is BACK on my card for the full amount!! CROOKS - filing another dispute."

"Wow! I sure wish I'd read this about two months ago. I, too, have been screwed. My story is the same as everyone else who ordered, lost money from their account, got 'not in stock' replies from the 'customer service' department, and still haven't received shipment or a refund. run. . .run fast!"

"I ordered a Grace Digital Business internet radio from them on 10/13/2011 through Google.. well today is 11/30/2011. The best day of my life! I finally got credited for something that they claimed was in stock, but then back ordered like they always say. I spoke directly to Grace Digital via chat and they told me exactly when it would be in. So then I emailed S&J and do you know what they told me? It will be shipping out this week. EVEN though I knew there would be nothing of the sort because Grace didn't even have it in stock.

I will definitely NEVER order from them again, and let everyone I know not to order from them either!

"I ordered from S&J Great deals online. I never received an
order confirmation or an order number. My credit card was charged almost immediately. After receiving nothing in two weeks I started trying to contact the company to find out a shipping date. I got no answer to my e-mails and for several days all I could get was their "super sexy" female voice on the answering machine. Finally I got a real person who advised me
that my order was being processed. Nothing. Was then advised that they would have to contact the warehouse and get back to me. Yeah right. To make a long story short a month after my credit card was charged AFTER I filed a dispute with my credit card company I finally got a refund on my payment. I WOULD NOT ADVISE USING THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING.
POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. BAD BAD BAD I really think the ploy is to stall till you forget all about it and let it go and BINGO they have your money.

" I recently purchased items from this store and the shipping was very fast. Not sure whether it was operator error or website issue, but I got the wrong color for my item. I contacted Sarah and she had the RMA to me the very same day and had the correct items ready to ship by end of the day. What great customer service!! I would recommend doing business with them and I will be in the future."

"I bought from fullfurnishings.com which is a company listed at the same address as SJ Great Deals, however an hour after placing my order for a pair of chairs which was blatanty "sold in pairs, price is for 2 chairs" on their website, they sent me an email stating that the price listed was actually for 1 chair, the complete opposite of what they had listed. They asked me to accept the now double charge for the "correct" price and offered a miniature discount for $10 for the trouble. Of course, I cancelled my order, and they allegedly told me on the phone that they had not charged my card, but I guess I'll see. Other reviewers had noted this practice from this seller as being a bait and switch operation, which I wanted to not believe because of their prices, but, as I already knew, if its too good to be true on the internet, it is."

"i purchased a Christmas gift 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas and a week AFTER it still had not been shipped. after i complained that they should expedite and pay for shipping, they offered me a measly 5% discount. i cancelled the order and have yet to receive a refund on my credit card! STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!"

"I would not recommend SJ Great Deals under any circumstances. They gave me know shipping info until i emailed them. My order didn't ship until 12 days after my card was charged. Never again, and they can keep their 3% discount on a future order."

"I placed 2 orders with this company. One inadvertently, so I asked that they cancel one order, but ship the 2nd order. They handled that great. But as of today, 1/11/10, I still have not received my order. They charged my account on 12/7/09. I've emailed them to which they replied they would look into it - that was over a week ago. At this point, I would say DO NOT order from these people, unless you have money to throw away!!!"
