"BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! Don’t be like me! Look at all of the reviews of the scam called sjgreatdeals before buying. This store is nothing but a bait-and-switch operation. I ordered a speaker from their website on a Sunday, of course only after noting that it was “in-stock” and would “ship” withing 1-2 business days. Well, the speaker didn’t ship and I got no communication from them until I emailed the next Friday. It was a 1-line response that said they’d look into it with the shipper. First of all, aren’t they the shipper? I guess not. They emailed me 3 days later to let me know that the item was discontinued, which must just mean at their store because its available everywhere else. They also offered to sell me some other stuff instead, but I demanded a refund immediately. I’m still waiting. They are obviously pricing their products at less than competitors to get your money in the door and then do their best not to let it get back out. I highly recommend shopping at another more reputable store. "
"I ordered an item on Dec. 19th as a Christmas present. It is Jan 10th now, over 3 weeks later, and they haven't even notified me that it has shipped yet. It took them 5 days to respond to my first inquiry, and this is what they wrote:
"Sorry for the delays, this is due to ship today. Tracking should post within 24 hours."
Turns out the item was on backorder, so they were basically lying when they said it would ship. When I ordered the item there was no indication on their website that they were out of stock. They said " currently on backorder with an ETA of 12/31/09" on the 27th, but it has been 10 days since that ETA and I've heard nothing from them.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE SLOW, UNRELIABLE, AND HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would not trust them at all."

"FRAUD--This is not a legitimate reseller as is represented on their website. An e-mail was sent for the "sales" telephone number ***-***-****), the order taker assured me, after placing me on hold to check, that the item was "in-stock" as indicated on the website, and would ship the same day. Subsequently an order was placed for the item. However, after receiving payment information, an e-mail was received stating the item was "... special order approx 1 week lead."
(It was still listed as "in-stock" on their web site.) A call was placed to cancel the order, however; only "sales orders" were accepted by phone, all "customer service" issues would have to be e-mailed.
Several things made me suspecious of this merchant. Why "customer service" only communicates by e-mail. When you call back, you can never talk to the same person: if you ask for the salesperson by name, your told they cannot be reached or connected. Why an order could not be tracked and no information would be made available.
Upon investigation of public records it was found that the company address is a 2904 sq.ft. residence located in Deleware County, Ohio (outside of Columbus) titled to JEFFREY M. S**** telephone number listed is ***-***-****. S & J GREAT DEALS is registered with the State of Ohio as a fictious company name. GREAT DEALS, INC. of 1018 Crossbrook Blvd., Galloway, Ohio 43115 (Franklin County) is the entity; again this is a residence not a commercial business location/office nor warehouse.
It looks like this company is a home based business that stocks nothing and has no inventory. They use a order-taker telemarketing type answering service. The order takers tells you they have everything, then orders it when you place the call, and supplies terrible customer service, if any at all.
If you get stiffed, check the Delaware County, Ohio Auditors & Recorders websites for sirname information.
