"I broke my Nikon D3200 and needed it to shoot my son's gallery opening. So I went online and found a slightly used beauty at Robertscamera.com. On Fri. Feb. 28th, late at night, I placed the order. I waited until Roberts opened on Sat. the 29th to call and make sure I would have it as soon as possible. I paid an extra $15, I believe it was, for 2 day shipping. I was assured at the time that it would go out on Mon. March 5th and I would have it by Tues. I called again on Monday only to find that they had failed to ship it out as promised. So now, instead of getting the camera on Tues, it would arrive Weds or possibly Thurs. The opening was Fri. night and I had never shot video with the camera, so I had hoped to be able to figure it out with enough time to experiment comfortably. After I graciously explained my dissatisfaction with the proposed outcome, they agreed to ship it overnight (arriving on Weds.), at their expense, and refunded what I had paid for priority shipping. I would shop with them again."

"This is the 2nd purchase I've made from Roberts Camera and I have to say it is the only place I will be going for online camera purchases from now on. The first purchase was a 10-24 mm Fujifilm zoom lens and it arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. This time I bought an Oben tripod from their used department, and was completely blown away...it was literally brand new - even with the instruction booklet and warranty card in the pocket of the carry bag it came in. I have never had such good experiences with pre-owned photography equipment anywhere else. You know how usually when you buy used gear, the item arrives, and it's ok, but it's always a let-down because it looks or works like an old piece of gear? Well 2 out of 2 of the items I've gotten from Roberts have only been marked "very good" in condition, but to my eyes they look essentially brand new and each time I've been pleasantly surprised by the purchase. I found them based on a video review online and I agree with the reviewer - there is simply no better place to buy used camera gear from that I've ever found. Leah, in their Used Photo Pro section, has been great to work with too. I like having a real person at the other end who's willing to answer questions and advise. Great place to shop."
