**** **** ****... Horrible sellers, Reverb doesn't back buyers up. Don't waist your time $$

"Tried for 3 weeks to get a refund on a guitar pedal that did not work. Had to send videos of it not working, spent HOURS and hours trying to get a refund. STILL was told no refund, PLEASE don't WASTE your Money. Go to EBAY or buy new. This was so frustrating. "

Bought a guitar that I found out was cracked

"Bought a guitar to find out the neck pocket was cracked and the neck was not sitting flat in the pocket. Ask for a refund and was told seller refused to refund and that was that. Since when did a Company allow people to sell items on their website and not do anything about it when they rip people off? Well all I can say is I'm glad I used PayPal because they will step in and take care of these ripoffs and get my money back. Like I told the Idiot that sold me the guitar he's paying one way or another. I will never do business with Reverb again and I will make sure anyone I know that they should stay clear of them."

Reverb **** !

"They say they want to protect their customers and sellers yet I sold a guitar on Friday afternoon at 3:45pm my time in state of Connecticut and here we are Monday and no payment posted to me because they are in Chicago and time difference and lied to me all day it will post this afternoon yet it's the end of buisness in Connecticut so won't post or more like be pending till tomorrow Tuesday and could take up to 3 days to process so I the seller get screwed three times 2 fees and no money and buyer signed for the guitar earlier Monday afternoon so they could give 2 craps about the seller unless you agree with their policies and do the percentage math on a non solid price because you can have your original sale price negotiated so in a nutshell they lost me as a customer and they **** rather deal with guitar center rather be screwed face to face and receive payment upon them recieving the item so they definitely lost me as a customer !"

terrible customer service ripoff

"Reverb.com is a dishonest company that will withhold your funds as long as they can. I have 100 % perfect rating ...do not use their reverb payout system if your not from the USA. They will payout in us funds but most international banks will refuse us funds and will bounce back payment such as myself in Canada. Then they decide to pay me out in Canadian funds to my paypal(wrong amount) and the instrument I sold was purchased in us funds. the short changed me by nearly $750 dollars. would not give me call to rectify situation and avoid all questions as to why they could rectify situation!!! I refunded their cash payout as they illegally withheld my funds until I contact the police and my attorney . My advice is stay away as much as possible from reverb.com .They are not for the seller and will withhold your funds at any great lengths. I will post this to facebook . please be very very careful as to dealing with reverb.com as the are a rippoff "

More than two weeks for payout?????

"Sold a loaded pickguard and waited a few days after it was confirmed delivered, with no sign of receiving my payment. Contacted Reverb and was told they were having trouble depositing the money into my account, even though all of my information was correct, and I hadn't had any previous or current trouble with this account. Emailed back and forth a few times but haven't received any update on my payment. They are literally holding my funds and ignoring me now. Never heard of being declined for a DEPOSIT into an account. Almost three weeks later and these guys still haven't updated me. Figure it the f*ck out boys, you're running a business here not a lemonade stand."

can I give less than one star?

"I was always down on eBay, as a seller they always sided with the buyer. Now I get it,once you deal with a company like reverb with it's terrible buyer support and terrible customer service, you really appreciate how good eBay is. A seller sold me a Chinese copy of the Les Paul as a real Les Paul and reverb sided with the seller... I even included a video showing the issues with the guitar... do NOT use reverb. "

AWFUL!!! I will never do any business with them again!

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!! I had a terrible experience with this seller. The $2,000+ Roland V Drum set I bought was not at all as described. The pads didn't work properly . The set was very dirty. Parts missing. Will cost over $400 to make in "perfect working condition" as stated by the seller. This was confirmed an authorized Roland dealer who diagnosed the pads . The kit (which weighed 125lbs ) was shipped in 1 box. When UPS dropped it off it was open , torn up, and very damaged. The drum rack had bent bars and stripped clamps. I asked for a full refund the next day. The seller flat out said NO. Then asked me to call him. He was a complete a-hole on the phone . Yelling, swearing, and just flat out lying!

Reverb does not even follow their own policies!!

Beware!

"I am a preferred seller and have more than 150 positive reviews!

After buying a guitar listed as mint and that had been routed under the pickguard I attempted to return the item but Reverb informed me I had complained outside the return window (I was 1 day late as I only discovered the issues after receiving the guitar) and offered me a Euro 50 voucher for the inconvenience.

I have requested on several occasions to have my account closed but have not yet heard a reply.

If someone sells you crap - you are not covered!

Really SLOW to payout

"I sold a guitar for $1300 and shipped it out. The shipping date was on a Thursday, and the buyer received it on Friday. He wrote saying it was the best guitar he had played, however Reverb did not release the payout. I had already sold on there before too, so there was no initial waiting period. It says on their site receive payout when you ship your item, but I still have not received anything. It's Monday now and the Reverb person I contacted said they don't process things on the weekend. So I asked why I wasn't paid on Thursday when it shipped, or on Friday when the buyer received it and was playing it! Those are not weekend days. The simply said the payment should be approved soon.

CHEAPLY MADE PRODUCTS & FAKE REVIEWS

"The person I was in contact with to buy my ukulele was really nice. BUT... I realized, after purchasing the ukulele, that 1) 227 out of 228 reviews were made by the seller and 2) no returns and refunds could be made after tuning the ukulele. TURNS OUT THAT they are just trying to make money by selling cheaply made ukuleles for at least 45 dollars more than they should be sold. The gig bag is too boxy and the ukulele wont keep a tune. It holds the tuning for about 5 seconds and then all the strings return to flat notes and I keep tuning it perfectly and when I've finished tuning the 4th string, the rest of the strings are out of tune AGAIN! the one star is for the nice salesperson."

Reverb.com Is Stunningly Incompetent and Unethical

"Purchased an expensive vintage guitar supposedly in "excellent condition," and with the express written condition that I could return the guitar if dissatisfied for any reason (and the seller would pay shipping both ways). Received the guitar which appears to need significant work that would have cost over $1000. I returned the guitar, but the seller deducted from the refund a claimed shipping charge of over $100. I sent the seller a copy of his written promise to pay shipping both ways. He wrote back: "Yeah sorry about that, I didn't realize I had included free shipping with the guitar. tough luck." Yes, he really wrote that.

I then requested assistance of Reverb.com customer service, which has the authority to refund the full amount. Even after seeing the seller's written statements, they also refused! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company, which is still pending.

Beware of buying anything through Reverb.com; the seller was "Western Reserve Steel-Strings."
