"My experience started off fine. Frank Wilson @customer service quoted me with all the parts I needed. Mind you, we are a shop buying parts for our customers so we want quality parts to give our customers quality service. When I asked for photos of the parts to ensure that they would be up to our standards, that's when it went down hill. Frank told me they "don't do pics" and assured me everything they sell is quality and warrantied. I then told him, "We are all set. We cannot spend our customer's money without seeing the part first. Thank you anyway". To which Frank replied, "No one asked, anyways and I have this sold. so, save your time for your hunt and do not waste mine.". I told him that his reply was rude and unprofessional and I'm glad he got to scam someone else instead of us. His reply? "Nope!! we just don’t deal with FRAUDS." My response was, "We were literally trying to buy parts Unlike you, I could send a picture of the vehicle we're working on and the condition it's in". His next email only said "Frauds" LOL. So I asked if they had a customer service survey or somewhere I could write a review. I'm sure he won't respond with anything helpful, if at all. Needless to say, he wasted MY time and now I'm stilling looking for parts for my customer. Quality Auto Parts is TRASH and nothing good will come out of talking to them so just skip the headache and find a reputable source! Funny how their website testimonials are all amazing and they only have 1 star reviews on this website"
"I was searching for a abs module for my 2004 jaguar xj8, when a i found upon quality auto parts. i was searching for a SPECIFIC part # when i spoke to the representitive she was so enthusiastic that she had the EXACT part number i was searching for.
I repeated the # and she said YES thats it !!!
I deal with a jaguar specialist and he told me to ONLY get the EXACT part # so i was excited to find it!!!
Of course when the part came I bring it over to my mechanic UNopened and I dropped it off there. He later calls me and reminds me that he said to ONLY get the same EXACT number, I said yes .... Of course the number Does NOT match.
I called quality auto parts and told them the issue and wanted to return for a refund...
This person get on phone and starts telling the part will fit and ALL I have to do is Now change the Module and my perfectly working Pump, flush, refill and bleed brakes.
So I Supposed to incur an extra 3 to 5 hours of labor Plus all the extra materials to complete the job?
I explained I would have never would have ordered the part and the ONLY reason I did was because Their representitive Assured me it was the SAME EXACT number....
They then said they listed to the recording and the Representitive never said that....BOLD FACE LIE!!!!!!
Of course it's against company policy for me to listen to it, even though I'm half of the conversation
Now they want me to return the part and charge me 25% restocking fee and postage back
I am disputing with my credit card company and hopefully get a full refund. These are nothing but India phone scammers with a new scam.
Imagine saying yes to EVERYTHING and when someone wants a refund you just charge them 25% even though you just lied to them. A 25% commission on every sale is not bad.....
Listen DYIrs and people looking to Save a few bucks of your hard earned money buying used..... My ONLY advice is STAY AWAY FROM quality used auto parts............... THIS IS JUST A SCAM SERVICE.....

"Recived wrong part after being on the phone for over an hour. Trying to make sure the part I ordered was the part I was going to receive. Once I received the part explain to them it wasn't the part I ordered it didn't even match part number. they wanted pictures of what I needed and what they sent . Then they told me I had to pay for the return shipping and once the warehouse gets it and reviews it and says it's good then I'll get my refund. Had to talk to some kind of manager and was told that I would receive a return shipping label ,never received it . Very poor customer service . "Ordered an instrument cluster last month and they gave me a fake tracking number. Told me the part would arrive friday. They also state the part would have around 86,000 miles on it and they check and make sure it is a working part!!! The part finally came several days later. The part was broken and had over 200,000 miles on it. The part came directly from a junk yard in wachington. When i called the number on the label the junkyard said they only pick and pull parts from the orders that they receive from Quality Auto and ship directly to the customer...... NONE OF THE PARTS ARE CHECKED they are JUNK PURE JUNK!!!!! I disputed this on my credit card.
NOW HERE COMES THE PART WHERE THEY LIE. I am still in the dispute. What ever you do DO NOT DROP THE DISPUTE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY.......Quality Auto will send you a false number and email stating they gave you a credit on your card if you drop the dispute. IT is FALSE. My credit card company will automatically drop the dispute when they get the money back from Quality Auto. Quality Auto keep calling us telling us to drop the dispute that they already gave us a credit but it was all FAKE......"

"I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima with obsolete parts. I couldn't find any parts for this car anywhere in Arizona. I went on the Web and posted the part that I needed, and quality auto parts responded within minutes. They had the part that I needed, it was upper and lower manifold. Needless to say, I bought them. Only one of the manifolds was good the other was bad. Not to worry Quality Auto Parts replaced the bad one without question. It took three tries, but we got it right. Their customer service was the best to work with than any other I've worked with. They took care of the problem until we got it right. You can't find parts for an old car like this but quality auto parts was the place to go. Thank You for all that you do."
"Bought a used car part and i was dissatisfied with the product for a good reason. They agree to return the item but THEY WANT TO KEEP 25% of the purchase price plus additional shipping cost.
The used part already cost three times more than other sellers (i just didn’t know until after i bought it) too bad I rushed.
I believe this company is managed by indians/arabians or sort because they are known for being dishonest, tricky, devious, stingy and rude!
Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I learned the hard way.
Their price is too high, their return policy is greedy and they treat poorly to customers!

My absolute nightmare started when I was looking for just a driver-side rear axle seal w/bearings and spacer.
"Roy" told me they don't sell new repair parts and that he had an axle shaft assembly for $383 landed in Buffalo N.Y.
I thought..."Gee, that's about $125 less than most".
During the process of ordering the part, "Roy" then tells me I'd be getting a "used" part.
I reminded him I wanted an assembly that did not require the bearings w/ new seal pressed in.
He told me "No, they go over everything and that this would be a usable part".
So, I assumed the assembly either was in a newer used condition (unlikely) but most likely refurbished.
Guess what, not only wasn't it in newer or refurbished usable condition...I used half a can of brake cleaner to find the seal worn to within an inch of it life, packed with gritty old nasty diff. oil.
Not only that...the axle shaft was most likely mash hammered out of the axle housing, popping 2 of the 4 mounting bolts out and bending the retaining plate.
They said if I paid for the return shipping, they'd send out another one. Ha, why would I want that.
I asked for pictures of the supposed replacement axle, so I knew what I'd be getting this time around.
Caleb with customer support hesitated a bit and said he'd check with the warehouse to have them sent.
When he returned to phone...he said his bosses were at a meeting and he'd have to call me back.
"BOSSES"..."MEETING"...I was just waiting for some pics of the repl. axle.
Never called back.
Will try tomorrow.
But, I know (like everyone else here) I'll be out shipping $$$ costs and some ridiculous restocking fee. Possibly even charged their original shipping fee.

best part was when Caleb asked me to send the part back...then he'd send pictures.

Honestly too busy to start one myself, but I'm in and would love to help with a class action.

Still no return call or email pictures of replacement assembly.
Not surprised.
Update: Sent axle assembly back.
Like many reviews have stated.
You pay for return shipping + original shipping charge+ 25% restocking fee. Out of the $383 I spent, I'll recieve roughly $240 back.
Update- 10/22
After being told I was going to most likely pay for original shipping (???) + return shipping ($23) +25% restocking fee ($95+/-)
They actually refunded me $380 of the $383 I was originally charged.
I roughly lost $26 in total.
I was in the right and thankfully and surprisingly recieved most of my claimed refund amount back.

I stated that i had prices for refurbished parts and he stated he has nothing that cheap. i tried to explain that i would rather have a part thats not refurbished and wanted to give my customer options. He hung up on me. I tried to call back and he stated that i have the wrong number.
Ive been in the auto repair business for 17 years. Guys like Frank at Quality Auto Parts never stay in business for long.

"1st off I was looking for 2 cylinders heads for my truck so I got this call from Mike he was insisting me about getting them he told they were in good condition, shape ready to put on the truck I bought them so when I opened the box they were disgustingly dirty like black oil all over super nasty the screws were broken and 1 valve when I called them they said they didn't give any guarantee in the valves which they never said that before buying them they told me if I want a refund I ll have to pay for the shipping plus another return fee which was gonna be around 200$ total for shipping them back and the return fee. I took them to a mechanic shop that clean, and sell them the guy said they were junk and broken inside so I lost my money they only agreed to refund me a little money for them.

"You've been warned!!! Do-not use this service. They tried to over-charge me for a part and after I said NO, I'm not interested, they kept on calling and texting me over and over. On the final text, they offered me the part for half price, so I called back to confirm out of curiosity. The guy Zack started laughing out loud and I said i don't have your part anyway and hung up the phone on me! Can you believe companies like this actually exist? It's hard to believe they were going to take my order and take my money, knowing they didn't even have the part. They were just trying to steal my money. I do-not recommend anyone using this dishonest company. I tried calling them back after he hung up to file a complaint with a manager, but they sent the call back to the same guy Zack who just hung the phone up on me. He said to me, what do you want. I simply hung up on him. I believe it's just a small office of a few people advertising online ad though they are a huge automotive parts company, which isn't true. They take your money for a part they claim they have in stock, knowing they don't, but hoping they can locate one from some junk yard. They claim to have there own large inventory of parts. I believe this is a total lie! I don't think they have any parts at all! They take your money for a part and then try to locate one elsewhere. They will lie to you that the part is in great shape, but will then refuse to send you any pictures of the part, obviously because they don't even have the part in stock. All they care about is taking your money. They are a bunch of Con-Artists, Crooks and Thieves. Avoid this company like the plague!!!! Have a Blessed day......"
