"Before I called Puget Systems, I researched a number prebuilt system vendors. I spent numerous hours on YouTube and Google. As I went through this exercise, I found that prices varied about 50% from the lowest to the highest for a system that I thought would satisfy my needs. One major factor that guided me, was that I found a video of the computer guy from Canada visiting Puget Systems and showing off a 96 core computer. Talk about enthusiasm. About a week later I came across a several videos from a Visual FX company in L.A. showing off their new system from Puget Systems. The computer cut their rendering times by a factor of 12. After seeing these positive videos and many other video steering you away from the mistakes they made with other vendors, I decided price is not everything.
Fifty days ago I had a pleasant conversation with one of their technicians about my needs. I told the tech the software I planed on using and he offered a solution that had my needs and budget in mind. I must say, he hit the sweet spot with performance and cost. "

"I like to think it was Divine intervention that stopped me from buying another Big box system, and or trying to build my own system (not being very techy). "I needed a desktop solution that could handle video and photo editing, as well as occasional gaming. The agents with Puget took all of my needs into account and offered a variety of solutions depending on price scale. They were willing to explain and talk through some of the finer points with me. When I placed the order, I received regular, detailed updates on my custom built computer. It arrived when expected, packaged extremely well, considering it had to come all the way up to bush Alaska, it did great. I haven't experienced any lag or delay within Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Wondershare Filmora thus far. I'm extremely pleased with the performance of this pc. I expect it to last me at least 5 years, and I know some parts can be upgraded at that time. "I researched lots of PC builders because I couldn't locate in stock parts to build my own this time around. With Puget Systems, I think I actually prefer it to doing my own. My expectations were high, but I had no idea the level of detail that they would go through in just 'shipping a computer'. First, you see on their website that, yes, people actually work there -- names, faces, job descriptions, etc. and that's a really nice touch. I didn't want to order some unknown PC dropshipped from China. What came after ordering blew me away, though: Meticulous build updates along the way, including progress photos, benchmarking data(!), and a nice sense of progress so I had reasonable expectations. Once I received the PC, it included a booklet of that whole record, as well as serial numbers and other machine data and restore media. The extensive collection of BIOS screens was a nice touch! Very well packaged and stuff, but what I'm left with is a great sense of care and detail that they've put into a system for little ol' me. It even shipped early! No complaints!"
"I can't speak highly enough of buying a custom build from Puget Systems. From start to finish they were attentive, responsive, and thorough. I was shocked at being able to "watch" the progress of the build from parts ordering, to assembly, testing, covid sanitizing (!), and shipping. The support afterwards when I had software incompatibility issues was also excellent, with support taking extra steps to assist me, even though the problem clearly lay with the software developer. Best PC purchasing experience ever, and I spent a LOT of money on an 8K video editing machine, so the bar was high. "

"It was time to replace my 8 year-old Dell. I looked around at various systems, and happened upon Puget. What impressed me was ordering a system tailored to my main usage-photography. I enjoyed reading the reviews of various components, and the suggested configuration was spot-on. The staff answered questions quickly, and were a big help. The system arrived several weeks later (they are busy), very well packed, with ample supporting documentation, monitor cables, wi-fi antennae, etc. I've been living with it the past couple of days, loading programs, moving data, without a hitch. "Tried to build my own system but with all the shortages currently going on that wasn't going to happen. Put in my order with Puget Systems and talked With Jeff S. to modify the build to both of our satisfaction. He did warn me about not filling up the NVMe hard drive that the system comes with. Once I received the system unboxing was fairly straightforward and detailed directions were attached for every step of the way. Removed the shipping foam from inside the case and in a matter of minutes had the computer up and running. This system is beyond quiet. Everything I could want and more."
