No customer service

"I bought a Ray-Maxx Clear Solar Pool Cover from Pool Deals less than a year ago. It is falling apart. I contacted Pool Deals for support. I was told that I would have to contact the manufacturer. When I asked for the contact information, they refused to provide it."

Buyers Beware

"This company is awful to deal with. Also doing business as Pool Zone. No response from anyone for almost two weeks. I ordered my pool liner a month ago and never got it. I asked them just to cancel it because I waited the time allotted plus extra time for COVID-19. On their phone recording and website says all orders are shipping on time. Someone finally emailed me and said they would cancel my order. Yesterday the pool liner arrived at my house. It was wrote on the box customer refused but they sent it anyway. Then they didn’t even send what I ordered but told me it will still work. That’s not the point! I Didn’t order what they sent me. They told me all sales are final and won’t take it back or refund my money. This company has 85 Better Business Bureau cases against them. Do yourself a favor and pass this company up next time!

I would suggest you never use PoolDeals.com

"I ordered a pool pad on 5/21/2020. Their website said most items ship in 48 hours. I even paid an additional $2.99 for rush processing. 10 days later I opened a help ticket to check status on my order. They replied the next day stating there was a delay and it should ship in 1-3 days. They also said I could attempt to cancel the order. I requested to cancel the order. I promptly received an email stating my reply was noted. I waited another 4 days. The order had still not shipped and I hadn't received confirmation of my cancelation. I requested to cancel a 2nd time. 3 days later I received an email stating they would put in a cancelation request but it generally takes 3-7 days. 6 days after my 2nd request to cancel I received a reply to my help ticket. Unfortunately, I was unable to log into the help ticket to see the response. I had to open a help ticket requesting help to view my previous help ticket. 28 days after my order was placed they responded by saying my order had shipped and gave me a FedEx tracking number.

I was unable to install my new liner with out the liner pad. It was obvious from other reviews that I would get the run around from pooldeals.com so during the process of trying to cancel my order I ordered a simialr pad off of ebay and received it in 2 days.

You will see my experience is pretty similar to many other pooldeals.com customers.

HORRIBLE SCAMMERS! DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM!

"Absolutely the WORST scammers! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE A-HOLES! I have never been scammed on the internet, and this is my first time writing a horrible review for a company. I ordered a $150 pool pump on 05/19/20, and paid $3.99 extra for rush processing. A week later, I messaged them (they claim they do not have any phone agents due to COVID-19, but this is an outright lie. Look at the numerous terrible reviews (no positive reviews for these crooks can be found as of the date of this review!) across the web from years ago, and you will see people complaining all over the place about nobody to talk to.) I wish I had done my research before buying from these crooks, because I would respond to their "ticket" system every 3 days asking where my pool pump was.I would get the same canned response, no matter what I asked, of "we're sorry, due to covid-19 we are backlogged and it will take 1-3 days more for this to ship." After 2 weeks, and the pump was still in their warehouse, I told them to cancel my order. They said they would try, but could not guarantee it. I never heard from them again. Almost a month later, and still no pool pump (it never even shipped according to their website!) Having a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, I opened a credit card dispute with my credit card company. I would rate them 0 stars if I could! Do your research with the many terrible reviews out there before ever doing business with these crooks! I wish I did, and now can't find a pool pump anywhere without price-gauging because of the pandemic."

Incorrect information

"Fort time buyer here. Ordered May 29, order says usually shipped in 3-5 business days. Put in a ticket request as to where the items are..I get told it usually ships in 7-10 business days. The items should have been shipped 6/12. No information sent no tracking. Email the original ticket request as to where are items & reiterated that the sitter says 3-5 business days & I have a pool scheduled to be installed..I receive a email 4hrs later Iam getting my refunded back & the reason is "out of stock". I call BS on you. Don't use the company. "

BUYER BEWARE

"BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ZERO stars!

I place an order on May 18th. With the promise (from their website) or 3 to 5 days to ship. May 19th, my money was gone from my account.
By May 26th, I heard absolutely nothing from this company.
Due to COVID and a holiday weekend, I gave some grace.
By June 2nd, I had been sending 'tickets' (cause you cant get a person on the phone)
June 5th, I said cancel my order
June 6th I get a 'supposed' tracking number
June 6th, 7th, 8th and so on... I continue to send correspondence to cancel my order.
June 13th (or 14th) I received an email that says this;
Please note that sending another ticket or response will delay your response from our support staff as we answer tickets by the date and time of your last response to the ticket. Tickets that have not had any activity the longest get answered first. Sending multiple tickets or responses will actually delay your response from us (not speed it up) pushing your ticket to the back of the queue. So allow 2 full business days from your last ticket response for us to get back to you. If you message us everyday before hearing from us first, you could be waiting quite a long time as you are pushing your support request to the end of the support ticket queue, and restarting the wait time. 

Today is June 15th.
FedEx has no shipment for me, which I dont want anyway.
These people send me a response, that says, they will TRY to cancel my order, but it's not likely. (Not in those words, but pretty dang close)
They sent a link to look at their cancellation policy.
Which says "we are generally not able to cancel an order" and IF they can cancel it there will be a 10% cancelation fee.
And if they actually do send the product, and you refuse shipment, they consider that shipped, and you can not get a refund at all!

Just to compare.. I ordered the same product from a different company. That was on June 5th. They used FedEx, and the product was here on June 8th. This is NOT a shipping issue, this was not a card declined issue.
This is a scam company, who has a d to f rating on the BBB. Has more bad reviews on google than any company I've EVER seen.
I wish I had check reviews first!

Took my money and no pool

"Ordered my pool three weeks ago They told me it was gonna take 3 to 5 days. I haven’t received the pool . Your only allowed to contact them one time by email , you can not call them! No tracking number or email from them saying it’s going to be shipped or there’s been a delay it’s been a horrible experience just hoping I can get my money back."

Scam... Took my money and I got nothing

"I wish I could rate them a negative 5000.. sadly it has to be a one to even submit.. ordered a new pool liner and foam bottom with foam coves. 500 bucks and NOT ONE THING SHIPPED. they lied when I complained and said they hope to ship it out 1 or 2 days ... it's now been 2 weeks. I demanded the items be sent out overnight express and they opened message and deleted my entire support ticket.. I screenshot it before that tho.. I went back and opened ticket to see their response to my demands and nothing just erased it all. Smh. I let them know I have screenshot and I cancel even when they claim they can't guarantee cancellation.. a fraud dispute stopped the deal . DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM UNLESS U R COOL WITH GIVING AWAY ALOT OF MONEY. "

"I bought over $1300.00 worth of supplies. Did not receive 2 items I ordered. When I contacted Pool Deals, they will not answer any phone calls, only email. Someone named Rodrigo answered my inquiry stating that what I was missing was delivered on a certain Fedex tracking number. This particular tracking number was received, but was other item, not the missing item. Fedex will document on their label 1 of x, 2 of x, etc, so I know there was not another package on that tracking number. Rodrigo's statement was that, "item was stolen". He would not listen to any logic or proof or make it right. He closed the my inquiry ticket and nothing. This company rated D- on BBB and thought to be closed by BBB. Pay attention, do not use. Rodrigo looks to be back in business, ripping off his customers. Why is honesty so rarely found? I found other vendor. This is a RIP-OFF"

Worst company ever

"I ordered some pool equipment. It was suppose to be delivered within 3 to 7 business days. After 10 days I checked and they never sent my order so I sent them a message to cancel my order. They send the package anyway and told me that I can't cancel once it's been shipped. I refused the package and they said they would charge me the shipping cost and a 25% restocking fee. So now I have to challenge the cost on my credit card. Worst company ever!!!"

"Don't do business with these people.Communication with orders is poor, plus. Purchased a Needed hd winter pillow.Needed two more so I placed the order. After 10 days. later one arrived. I called and they said they would send another. In the meantime the first one lost air. Had to send picture of the leak. I did. Than 12 days later the other one arrived. I installed it and it two leaked. Took a picture of it in the pool with ice and snow on it. They wanted a picture of the leak.Had to chip ice to remove it. Than they said I was out of warranty. What a joke of customer service. "
