Incompetent company with incompetent support

"I ordered a replacement part for my oven. The site shows "in stock" and will "ship the same day". It was a Sunday so I purchased it to be shipped on the next business day. After a week I had no package and never received an email with tracking info. I reached out to their support, it was a Sunday, they got back to me the next day. They stated we apologize we will make sure the item goes out today. The next day I email them and ask for a tracking number. On Tuesday evening they respond, we can't get in touch with our warehouse to get the tracking number. (What?!) How is that possible in 2020? I emailed them back saying you have given me incorrect information twice now, I don't understand how it's possible you can't reach your support. To make a long story short, two weeks later and my oven still is not repaired because of the incompetent folks at partsimple.com... I ordered my parts from their competition and a few bucks more but the item is on it's way. No headaches, no hassle!"

2007 GE Gas Oven Control Board

"Ordered a control board for my neighbors GE gas oven since their broiler button was not working and the oven button was on the brink of going south for the winter. The control board arrived within 3 days. Partsimple sent me an email with the tracking number which was good to have (UPS Ground). The part was half the cost of a new one and I was a bit skeptical but I installed the part and all buttons worked and everything was back to normal. Whats interesting is that Lowes and Home Depot advised them to buy a new oven. Really! Thanks Partsimple and thanks Youtube. "

Got our part for a great price!

"I was hesitant to order due to all the bad reviews. But no one else had the control board we needed for our dryer, so thought it'd be worth the $75 risk to save on the cost of a new dryer (others used to sell the board for $150, when they had them). We got our part delivered in 10 days, installed it, and our dryer is alive again."

Terrible delivery and no communication

"I ordered about a dozen headphones for computers. After a couple of weeks nothing happened... no headphones and no communication so I ordered them from another company. They arrived within days. Three months later, they arrived from Partsimple.com so I obviously did not need them. After complaining about the lead time and now communication I asked for RMA to return them. They obliged the request but with 15% restocking charge. When I complained they essentially said that I should be happy and should have read their terms. All sales final, no delivery schedule promised. I was shocked needless to say. Buyer beware! They don't ship and they don't communicate."

Don't waste your time

"This is the second time I've ordered a part and was told later by partssimple.com that they couldn't get said part. Ten days ago a page on their website indicated that the part I ordered was no longer available. Did they contact me? Negative. Ten days after the above page was posted, I wrote to them asking what was up with my order, which should have shipped six days ago on Feb. 14, 2007. It wasn't until I wrote them that they initiated a refund. They sit on your money and most-likely are caching in on interest. Again, second time I've ordered and yet no parts were available. Never again."

New Part Received Used plus Long Delivery Time

"I ordered a microwave button. It took 20 days from the date of order to be delivered. The website stated: Typically ships within 1 business day. It shipped 18 days after my order. The product was advertised as new. The item I received had dirt on it and scratches, it was not new. The company said I can file for a warranty but I may have to return the part, they are not sure. This means going another 20+ days without it because once it is installed by me it cannot be removed. (its a button that cannot be removed without a tech's taking apart the microwave to push it out from the inside). Very aggravating."

Better luck with a company in India.

"I bought door bibs for my fridge per the dimensions listed and once I got them they were not even close to fitting. After 13 days of them recieving my return I called to see where my refund was and she went on to say she doesn't have it. After an hour I was told the refund had been issued and that they had received the return. When I looked at the email however there was an adjustment fee so I called back to ask what it was and she said she didn't know and hung up on me. After paying for initial shipping, return shipping, and the adjustment fee I am out $50. Amateurs. "

Speedy Shipping But Be Aware Of Returns ...

"I have to commend the company on the fast shipment of their parts and equally a hassle-free experience on returns, however, I do have one gripe. The part arrived in a timely manner, however, it was defective. The LED on the Icon/Proform Treadmill Controller board did light up yet my treadmill never received power to the main display and as a result never operated. I contacted the firm immediately where I was given the option to return for full refund or an exchange but I had to pay for the return shipping. I feel that for items immediately found defective upon arrival ( bad Q/C ) the company should provide free returns in exchange for another part. Because of this I opted to return the part, paying the shipping, for a credit. "

false advertising - unwilling to make right

"i ordered a part and paid with my credit card. 5 days later they cancelled my order. i called and they said the company they get it from sold out. my question is what kind of people start a company to play middle man like this. answer - same people who run shoddy businesses that cant see through agreements. very disappointed. their mistake cost me time and money."
