"I will never buy ANYTHING from Partstore.com again. I had same issue: Ordered a part that 'was in stock'. Received receipt stating it was backordered with no eta. I called to cancel the order after verifying with the Customer Service Rep that it didn't appear that the product (a Samsung Colorwheel) would be available anytime soon. At the end of my call, the CSR advised that if for some reason the part got shipped before the cancellation went through that I would have to request a return. I asked how this could happen when I am cancelling the order NOW and according to her, the part had not shipped nor was it in stock. She advised that this is something they have to tell everyone. Well low and behold the part was shipped the next day! Unreal. I had already ordered another part so when I received the part from Partstore.com, I followed the instructions, called them, and requested an RA number. I checked the part before I sent it back to ensure it was not damaged, carefully repacked the box and sent it UPS. A few weeks later, I received a box from them returning the part back to me stating that I returned the product in broken condition and that I would have to file a complaint with UPS.....I KNEW THAT THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN!!! I knew that as soon as the CSR advised me that the product could ship before the cancellation went thru that I would have a problem with this company. Do not order anything with this company...they are crooks!"

"I would never order from this company.Took 2 weeks to receive product and when it did not work I needed to explain everything I did with it to explain to them why it did not work.They finally gave me a return # and sent item back item.When I did not receive a credit after 3 weeks I needed to give them the shipping # from post office which I did not have.They said it will take next billing cycle to get the money back if in fact it was returned to them since I could not prove I sent actually sent it back.WARNING DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE."

"They shipped the wrong parts, returned the order, they shipped the correct order, but charged me for both orders including shipping and Tax even though they received the returned order before they ship the replacement. they don't respond to email nad the call takes 15 - 20 minutes after someone finally answers and say sorry I have to contact Return Dept the waiting line is even longer to hear the voice mail with no response to voice message. The customer service sucks, stay away from this vendor if you have other option. I finally called my credit card and was told the vendor has 30 days to response, then I can despute the charge."

"Don't do business with these guys they do not honor their commitments and apparently do not stock the parts as they advertise but have vendors ship them. I cancelled my order and they then shipped anyway and want me to pay for return shipping."

"Back in April, I purchased a George Foreman Grill. A week ago, I was drying the bottom grill plate, when it slipped out of my hand & hit the floor. The right hand side handle shattered, and I wanted to replace it. I went to the distributors web site & typed in the part # shown in the instruction manual. Zip, nada, nothing, "this number does not exist." Again I tried, again, nothing. I even went to the George Foreman site, again, the runaround. I Googled & came up with the PartStore & typed in what I needed.....BINGO! Now, here's the irony, the # in the manual was NOT the # I needed! How dumb on their part. Now I have what I needed & will return to PartStore.com, should I need something else!"

"PartStore is great. They found a replacement handle for my stove which the dealer swore was no longer available anywhere and which the manufacturer said had been discontinued over a year ago. The ordering process was simple and direct, and everything was delivered just as promised. It's hard to imagine a better retail experience. "

"I ordered an air conditioner installation kit from partsearch/best buy. Placing the order is was not a problem and of course they are more then happy to take your money. I ordered the part wed. morning and paid extra for 2 day delivery. I have the UPS tracking information and the billing was submitted that day, but my package was not put on the truck that day. When I called on Monday because I was disturbed that I paid extra and still hadn't received the part I was told Monday was the day I should have received the order and it was not their problem it didn't go on the truck on wed. The best part was it was explained to me that there is limited room on the truck and obviously other orders took priority over mine as they had been ordered earlier. Once I picked up my jaw from this ridiculous response I asked why the person I spoke to didn't tell me this nugget of information on wed. and I was told its on the website and essentially too bad. I highly recommend that peoplke do not use this service. Oh and by the way I found the part for $15 dollars less later on and can't wait to hear what they say about that."

"False advertising, DO NOT BUY from these guys. We wasted a week, waiting for an important part that the site indicated was "in stock." Surprise, it was not. At first, the agent said it would ship on May 4 (5 days from now). Then, when pressed, he "discovered" that they would NEVER have it. He said he's cancelling the order, let's hope that happens as advertised."

"I which I had found these reviews before O ordered from them. They SUCK! Just got off the phone with them because they advertised a part that I ordered, was back ordered for about a month and when I got it, it didn't work. "I'll never buy from them again. What a joke. I ordered a replacement shuttle motherboard. Took way longer than it should have to ship and when it got to me it was the wrong revision. The RMA process was like trying to convince a jury that it was in fact the wrong one. Now after sending it back over two weeks ago and I still have yet to receive a refund. Just got off the phone with them and they tried to tell me that they have not got it back. Thank goodness I had the tracking number to prove they've had it for almost two weeks now. He backtracked and then said it takes one billing cycle to get the refund. I guess I must be spoiled by Newegg and others like it but I will never buy from partstore.com ever again. Worst online experience yet. "

"Don't spend your time or waste your money! The list of complaints is as follows: unauthorized transaction, misleading website that doesn't tell you an item may be on eternal backorder, (a customer service rep that told me an item may be on back order for more than a year and I'd hardly expect them to let you know), no prompt communication about the status of your order, not able to do what they said they would do to help my order get shipped. After waiting a month and a half, I had to cancel my order! And they will not refund the unauthorized transaction..."

"This is the worst place you can possibly buy a part from. I purchased a part for my washer and when I received it I could tell that it was not new. It had the part number hand written in black sharpie right on the part and it wasn't even factory wrapped/sealed. I held it up to my existing part and could tell it was the wrong one so I called to get an authorization to return. After they received my return, I called to get a status and they said that my $133 could not be refunded because it had been installed. I responded and explained that the part was not new when I received it and it even had a hand written part number on it. They still refused to refund and even went so far as to tell me that the part they received from me in return did not have a part number written on it. I was absolutely furious and still am. This company is a complete fraud and I have initiated a chargeback with my credit card company to get my money back. Oh, and get this - not only did they not refund my money, they kept the part. AVOID THESE SCUMBAGS AT ALL COST!!!"
