"I should have listened, ordered a Samsung TV stand and got an email saying it was going to ship on such and such a date and its now a week later and hasn't shipped. Called customer service and talked to someone and they said they are still trying to find it in the warehouse ... really, is the warehouse that big that you can't find something in a week. Will not purchase here again. "

"They do not deliver on time, if ever. Terrible business who you can hardly contact. I ordered an inexpensive part and they charged high shipping and handling fees and after one month! there is still no word on if my part will ever ship. Can't find a real person to speak with and if you do they speak in ebonics.

Use a different company, any company, www.reliableparts.com is much much better.

"I placed an order May 15th 2011, I'm still waiting for it. Emailed the company 3 times, no response. The part that I ordered was taken off the list on their website saying that it is no longer available for purchase. Most of the ad on their website says it will be ship in 4 to 6 days, that's a BS. Don't order anything from them. They don't have it."

"UPDATE:: 5/23/11 Called this number (1-***-***-****) and got a live representative, who issued me an RMA# over the phone. She indicated that the ****@**** email address isn't monitored any longer, so you'll want to call the above number for refunds, etc.

I too ordered a part from partstore.com and emailed them in hopes of getting an RMA# to send it back to the company for a refund since it was damaged. I have yet to receive any response in ten days time from them even though they replied to an order cancellation request in about two days time to tell me that I couldn't cancel because the order had already shipped. That tells me that they selectively respond to emails and ignore those that are requesting refunds.

My suggestion for folks in this predicament is to email your complaints to Best Buy's corporate office as they are now the owner of Partsearch Technologies Inc. which is the owner/operator of the partstore.com website. You can verify Best Buy's ownership by jumping a few paragraphs down in the following story at Business Week's website: http://www.businessweek.com/news/2011-03-28/harry-david-blockbuster-madoff-lehman-bankruptcy.html

Hopefully, people will complain enough that this website will get taken offline sooner rather than later by Best Buy and people won't have to lose any more money to them.

"DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM PartStore.com!!! I don't think it's a real company. It's Scam!!!!!
I ordered some washing machine parts for one of my tenants on April 22nd and when i did not receive my parts by May i went online to find their number. They advise you to e-mail all customer service questions to an e-mail, NO PHONE NUMBER!! (Red flag #1).
I sent them an e-mail asking where are my parts I ordered? I received zero response.
I then found their phone # 1(***-***-****. I call around 4:30pm and it said they were closed and to call back. I called today and the voice mail said that they were receiving a very high call volume and that they couldn't take me call!!! Then it just said Goodbye!!! No waiting on hold, nothing. (Red Flag #2)
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

"I ordered a lens assembly for my Samsung digital camera just to find out the part they sent wasn't even correct. I emailed them at least 5 times to ****@**** with no replies. I called their number (866-925-PART) just to find they only take new orders and the only way to get an RMA is to send an email.

What a waste of time and money. This has been the worst online buying experience I've ever had. I will never use them again nor do I recommend anyone reading this. Trust me, save your money, do your research on an online seller, or stick with the big names such as Amazon.com or Newegg.com.

Avoid partstore.com!

"Ordered a drawer for a fridge. I received the item promptly and then determined I had ordered the wrong drawer. Sent 3 E-mails spaced a week apart requesting and RA number. No Reply. I found their phone number on the shipping box. The only option to get a human is if you are ordering a new part. After 20 minutes of loud music, I gave up. Don't order from this company. Web sites can be deceiving. I should have learned by now to search for complaints before ordering anything on line."

"This was my second order from PartStore, and it's very obvious that this vendor has fallen to the very bottom of the barrel. It can't be long before they close up shop completely. Here are my observations:

1. They do exist, and they are functioning, if only barely. I did actually receive my order.

2. There is no way to determine if an item is in stock, even after you order it.

3. There is no customer service number to call. You can reach a human by being very intrepid and looking for their SALES number. It took me three tries and
a 20-minute wait on the third try to get through to someone. That alone is reason enough to avoid this vendor.

4. If you go solely by their web site, it would seem that PartStore.com is a booming, flourishing, professional business, providing (as their name implies) parts for virtually everything in the home. Most are accompanied by the phrase "usually ships in 1 business day." Don't be fooled.

5. Email will go unanswered for weeks, if answered at all. After waiting over a week for confirmation of a ship date, I sent two separate emails requesting the order to be canceled. I received a response on the same day that my order actually shipped (2 weeks later) apologizing for the late response. Of course, since my order had already shipped, it could not be canceled, but I could return it for cost of shipping both ways and a restocking fee. You can interpret this practice as you wish, but it smacks of a shady and slimy business to me.

In summary, this business is in dire need of additional staff to handle communications, as well as a real-time stock availability tool on their website. Barring drastic improvements, I recommend that you should avoid PartStore.com and let it die a quiet death.

"Don't buy ANYTHING from these people. I ordered a plastic shelf for a refrigerator. It came shattered - they had packed the part on top of all the packing material. Customer Service is worse than non-existent.(both by phone and on-line. I finally got an e-mail response after I put the transaction in dispute with the credit card company. I received a replacement part today (3 weeks later) and it is broken also - packed the same way. "

"Biggest fraud out there. Ordered a power deflection Board for a Samsung TV, received a microwave door instead. This was after the part was shipped two weeks late, and after I had tried to cancel due to the shipment date being delayed so many times. No number to call. Have to email, and it takes forever to get back with you. They give you a phone number, but when you call the line says that they are only accepting calls for new orders. I have filed a complaint with the NY Better Bussiness Burea, but little help so far. DO NOT USE this STORE."
