"More of the same for me with this company, Ordered part they showed in stock. Didn't hear back from them for shipment so I checked site and found that it was backorderd and they had not told me. I called and was told that it would be shipped in 6 days. Figured I could wait that long for a good price. That date came and went with no update. Called them and part was still not in stock and they could not give me a date when it would be in stock. Said that I'd have to wait a couple more days to find out. Cancelled order at that point and will not order from them again."

"Do not do business with this company! I ordered a new blender jar & gasket. They sent the wrong jar (their error, not mine), and when I called to report it, they said I would have to reorder and pay again to get the correct part (they would credit the wrong part shipment after I returned it). Ridiculous! After several calls trying to get them to send the right part without me paying again, I gave up and returned both the wrong jar and the gasket in the same box with their return label. Now they won't credit me for the gasket because I didn't ask for return auth. within 30 days. Every time I called they said they had to email the department that actually handles these things, and they would get back to me in 3-5 business days, but they never did, so I would call again. The worst customer service I have ever encountered! The amount in question is small ($13.66), but I don't like to be treated this way, so I'll keep bugging them.
3/3/12 PartStore saw my post on this website and immediately contacted me and issued the remaining credit. I do appreciate that, but their customer service policies still need to be improved. If they had explained when I first called to report the wrong item shipped that as soon as I released the returns package to UPS they would issue the returns credit immediately, I might have gone ahead and reordered right afterward to get the correct part. But there was no explanation of their policy, just a "sorry, that's the policy" and if you don't like it, too bad. And it shouldn't have taken a public complaint on this site to finally make them do the right thing.

"Placed a small order for 5 different parts for my Bosch dishwasher rack. Order shipped next day, received two days
after that. Parts were correct and original. I didn't have a need to interact with them, they sent email with tracking number right away.

"Wish I had read the reviews of this company. Four unprofessional things have happened and my problem is sill unresolved:

1) A part was described as "in stock" when it was not.
2) A part of my order was thereby cancelled and I was not notified
3) When a replacement part was requested, a customer service representative said they would contact me, but never did.
4) A follow-up email for an RMA has not been responded to after 48 hours.

"This company is unbelievably bad, avoid them like the plague. I wanted to return my order and they said they did not want it back, to recyle it and that they would credit me. I had to complain to Best Buy corporate to get the credit three weeks later. Now a few weeks after the credit was issued they are asking for the part back. This is probably the worst company I have ever done business with."

"Great Prices - Non-existent service. I ordered two parts (the same). They were delivered on time. One was broken. I called them and I was told they would send me a replacement. Instead, they sent two and charged me for both plus shipping. I called them and they told me they would credit me the entire second charge. It never happened. The next time I called they told me they don't issue credits, they request their accounting department to issue a credit. The next time I spoke to them, they told me I had to return the parts before they would issue a credit and they would e-mail a return authorization. Twice since then, they have again told me they would send a return authorization. On four different phone calls, I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was always in a meeting. I was told the supervisor would return my call within twenty-four hours. No supervisor, nor anyone else has ever returned my phone call. This has been going on for a month and I have made approx twelve phone calls to them. I will never order from them again, and suggest you don't either."

"I order a part for my tv and got the wrong order part. I call them to get a refund back and they said send back the part so we can refund your money back as soon as we get. Well i called to see if they receive it which they did and the person told me it would take one to two business cycle to get my money back.One to two months is to long for a refund so i asked to speak to a supervisor and they said the supervisor cannot help me because they don't deal with returns and gave me a number to call 1-***-***-****.Customer service sucks big time at this place and i will never use them again. I hope anyone planning on using partstore.com read this before ordering anything from them. I will be writting the owner of this company to let him know what a crappy company this is"

"Like some others rating here, the part store sent us a part that was not the part advertised - it in no way resembled or related to the part I ordered. It was labeled as the part I wanted, but was not the part. After two calls and an e-mail, they finally sent me a return shipping label but then did not want to refund the shipping charged to me to send the incorrect part. We are contesting the charge with our credit card company & we will not be buying from partstore.com again"

"They shipped quickly but sent the wrong item. It was not even close. Now I have to wait for a return authorization and they will not ship my part until they receive the return. Even to get the RA by email takes days. The customer service agent I spoke to seemed to be brain damaged. I can not recommend them. "

"I was looking to replace a circuit board for my dryer so that the laundry can resume. We have laundry at the house that was building up and an unhappy wife.

I have used partstore.com in the past and I do not remember anything negative about them and they were fairly priced.

So I ordered the board through partstore.com on 10/22/11. The part was easily found on the site and again at a fair price for it. The any vague part about the price was about a core fee. The price was $79.69 for the part but it states "core charge not included." It never gave me a core charge amount. So I did not know if they will add a fee or not for the core. It did not state.

Anyways, a couple days passed and I did not hear about the part being shipped or being processed completely so I called partstore.com and asked about it. I was informed that it can take up to 6 days to process the order. SIX days to process an order?

I checked another site I used before and they would ship it out on the same day I ordered as long as I ordered before a certain time and the price was a little bit better and the core fee was clearly marked.

On 10/25/11 I then called partstore.com again to cancel my order since I am able to get the part FASTER through a competitor. When I talked to the representative they stated that they would cancel my order but the part might ship out anyways because the order process was at the warehouse. They stated that if it does ship out, I would need to send it back. So I canceled the order.

I got an email confirming that I canceled the order. It stated in the email "We have received your request to cancel parts from order # 1..., as detailed below. We are processing this request and will send you an update within 3 business days."

It has has been past the 3 business days and I have not heard anything from partstore.com. I checked the site and it still shows my order being open.

I know I have used this site in the past but this last contact with them is raising doubt if I will use them again.

If you are not in a rush to get a part and you want it at a fair price, then this might be a place for you but then again there are issues...

"Ordered part on 10-13-2011, part was in stock according to web site. Got e-mail confirmation of order almost immediately. Got e-mail stating that part was due to ship on 10-15-2011. Never got e-mail saying that part had shipped and obviously no tracking number. Checked website many times over the next week and a half. Finally called on 10-27-2011 and spoke to rep who said that part looks to have shipped. I told him that I had not received e-mail confirming this. He said that he would resend e-mail with info. All he sent me was the original order confirmation e-mail. Called the next day and spoke to another rep who said that the order was cancelled, but did not know why or by who! She said she would escalate the order to find out what was going on, this was a Friday. Got three e-mails on 10-31-2011. First saying that order was escalated. Second was an automated message saying that order was cancelled because vendor can no longer supply part. Third e-mail was from Melissa, in Part Search Support, saying that order has been cancelled and sorry for the inconvenience. I would not have been too upset about the whole ordeal if the part had been for myself, but when you're trying to help out some elderly lady with her broken tv and you keep getting the run-around with parts distributors, you get a little hot under the collar. At least they didn't charge me for the part up front and then make me try and get the money back!"

"This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a part, springs for a washer. They has a picture of two springs, they called it a "kit", they used the plural form, Springs, on every reference to the item. I selected the quantity of one, meaning one kit. I got one spring. They they said it was my fault because I was supposed to enter the number of springs I wanted. I said I ordered a kit, pictured, of two springs, if I had selected two in the quantity, I should have expected to get 4 springs. I said I would pay for the other spring and tax and they agreed to waive the shipping after I placed the order. I emailed them the order confirmation number, so they could waive the shipping. They charged me the full shipping. So two springs with tax came to $3.84 with tax and I paid a total of $21.74

Update: After contacting the Better Business Bureau and putting a hold on the charge, and recontacting PartStore, they issued a credit to my account. I will not change my rating because of all the extra time and effort I had to put in to make this right, but to their credit, I will say they are fast and very reasonable.

"The customer experience is the the worst I have found in my life, no accountability, no followup, defective parts and none to take care of customers once they have paid.

They sent me 1 filter, instead of 2 and even the filter I got is damaged. I call these guys and follow up for 3-4 months. Every time I call them I get an answer saying someone will call me in 3-4 business days and no one calls or follows up. Finally I get an email from partstore asking me to call the 1866 number and they will take care of my order. When I call them back, it the same story, they have no instruction on what to do, fed up with these guys.

"order two pieces for the fridge, upper and lower door cam. One package arrvied said ship together. but only one part, called they said they would escalate the situation and get the other part out. Waited called they said wait a few more days. waited no word called, was told never escalated, they had me speak to supervisor said they would ship out. Never got called, no email so i called again. Was told sorry they would check into it,and would try to resolve, all i wanted was part i ordered shipped to me. parts were 2.99 each shipping was seven dollars. They finally called back left message, they will refund cost of part i did not recieve but not the shipping fee, and if I wanted that part would have to reorder and repay shipping fee. Called asked to return and get refund for the part i did recieve since need both pieces to work. Will use sears or someone else next time. Note friendly and helpfulcustomer service very polite but never did what they said they would do."

"Place an order. Everything went well besides receiving my order and notice that one of the parts I ordered that they sent me a wrong part. I ordered a Samsung refrigerator sensor and they sent me a Samsung remote control for who knows what. Funny thing the part that I ordered had the picture of a sensor. They couldn't tell the difference from a sensor to a remote. Called them and they wouldn't send me the part I needed to me unless I sent the remote back to them first. I told them that I have a technician coming in a day to install these parts and I already part for the service charge for the tech to come out to my house. No help from them. They said they will email me a ups return tag so I can ship the remote back. Then after they receive the remote back it will take 2-3 business day for them to process the order again so I can get my part that I needed. So I won't receive my new part for 2-3 weeks from now. I asked them to over night my part to me so I wont lose the service charge for the tech. Still wont help me. Still no email from them with a ups return tag and now I have to wait three weeks until I can have a tech back to my house to fix my frig. I will never buy from this company again and warn future customers to do your research before you buy. Some times a low price is not worth the head ache in the end. Very unhappy."
